Book one: In Stacy Alabaster's new cozy mystery series, Claire Elizabeth Richardson and Alyson Caulks were best friend for 10yrs starting in fourth grade (when Claire Elizabeth and her mother moved in with her grandmother following her mothers divorcé). But as soon as she could Claire got out of that small seaside town. She lives in Sidney where she's in the movie business. Claire comes back to Eden Bay to sell her grandmothers book store.
However Alyson (who owns a surf board shop) finds a close friend, Adrian, murdered on the beach.
She begs Claire to help her solve the murder because she remembered her friend loved murder mysteries. Claire refuses "because I'm leaving for Sydney tonight". However she decides to stick around for a while.
Stacy knows how to take her readers down the path to solving the crime, but she loves to keep you guessing. So enjoy this first book of her new series.
Book two: I really think I'm going to like this series. This is the 2nd edition of our Aussie mystery with Alyson (with a Y) Faulks and Claire E!izabeth Richardson. There's another murder, the 2nd in 2 months, what happened to the cozy little town of Eden Bay. I've never been to Australia, but I think I'd like to visit this quant little town. Ms. Alabaster has really made me feel at home
Book three: Claire's old boss is in town, that's strange enough, but four people have washed up on the beach. One was alive and recovering on Alyson's couch, one other was dead and the other two washed up on the dirty side of the beach.
Danielle Williamson shows up begging Claire to take her old job back "temporarily", then permanently. So besides our murder mystery, we have Claire's life decision to figure out too

Fun and quirky
These were quick fun reads , however each time the girls figured out whodunit it was a stretch for me to get there. I think there could have been more leading,foreshadowing or detail as to why they got there to that conclusion

What an outstanding set of stories. Two ex friends, one dead body, what more could be in these mysteries to keep you intrigued. I couldn’t stop reading as always with this superb author.

I enjoyed it.
I really liked this author's box set. Great story. Great characters. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it very well worth the read.
