Second Chance at Love! ❤️

Loved, loved, loved Wes’ and Charli’s story. It was a perfect 2nd Chance story and a nice wrap up of the REC Shop Divas quest for love.

Wes worked really hard and committed to winning Charli back and it showed. Charli didn’t make it too easy for Wes (but she didn’t make it too hard and draining and exhausting either)... it was the right balance of forgiveness moving on.

I really hope this isn’t the end for these couples, I feel like they have so much more to tell us and I would absolutely be along for the ride.

If you haven’t read this series... you’re missing out!

First Bailey West Read

Charlene returns home to Ragston Michigan after she goes through a divorce from her husband of 10 years to restart her life. Wesley has to sit this season out due to a surgery so he goes home to Ragson to recover. When they were in college Wes broke Charli’s heart but the love they shared never died. Now that they are both back home they can’t seem to escape the feelings they have been holding onto for all these years.

This book was so sweet. I like how the book started with an introduction to how Emerson, Charlene, and Roxanna friendship started, it bought all three books togethers. I loved how Charli wasn’t letting her divorce break her she was just picking up the broken pieces and moving along. Charli’s grandmother Honey had me hollering she was cutting up and I loved it.

Poor Wes was being manipulated and taken advantage of because of his talent but he was still so humble and laid back. He was not going to lose Charli again, he was so determined to get his girl back. I just kept thinking OMG he is so sweet. I like how he helped Charli without stepping on her toes or using his money or influence to get Charli what she wanted He let her do her thing without getting involved.
This was my first Bailey West book and I really enjoyed her writing style so I will definitely be adding her to my author TBR so I can read her catalog. This was also my first collaborative series and at first I was unsure how it would go but this was great. I like the concept of three best friends who drifted apart and are reunited when they go back home. I like how each best friends story was written by a different author giving completely different writing styles while keeping a consistent story. The scenes that overlapped in each book flowed giving us each woman’s side of the story. I enjoyed this collaborative series.

I’ve literally debated back and forth about this being a 3.5 or 4 stars and settled on 3.5. I did enjoy the story. It has some of my favorite elements.. second chance, sports, small town! I give it a 3.5 because the reunion felt a tad bit too easy. There were some hard topics introduced as a result of their breakup that I feel like needed a harder conversation. Some yelling or cursing, Charli at least questioning of cheating even if she didn’t believe Wesley did anything. I just feel like the conversation they did have wasn’t quite enough for me after all the plans they had, the breakup, what we were told happened after, all the time that passed. I just needed a little more communication before they fell back in unison. Otherwise I did enjoy the premise, the idea of the Inn and its sentimental value, the friend group, it’s an enjoyable read and I’d try more of Bailey’s catalog!

I want to know what love is....

You ever get a melody in your head after reading a book? Well, that happened to me after completing Inn Love. I love and appreciate a redemption story. As truly love is always a risky, but all so worth in when you discover your soul mate. Here is what you have in the story of Wesley and Charlene. You'll love the journey they took to get back to one another. It's often said that the heart wants what it wants, and gets what it needs in due time. The story of Wesley and Charlene will have you witnessing what it took to forgive and grow. What it looks like when you have supportive friends and family. You'll snicker a little but also rejoice in seeing two people be vulnerable.

I'm in love for sure

Book three in this three story collaboration was simply amazing. It was nice to see how the three stories nicely intertwined to paint a beautiful story. The small town of Ragsdale developed some lovely characters. Their journeys were real. Charlie and Wesley's tale was told with both couples getting a chance to speak. The three amigos were together again. Charlie, Emerson, and Rocki. In each story we meant three wonderful heros, and Ro still holds my attention. Excellent Collaboration!

I love this story and series!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this story and definitely loved all of the supporting characters too! Charli could be characterized by “light”- she just glowed from the inside out! Wes learned the error of his ways and wanted to fix his wrongs. It was such a good read!

Do yourself a favor and read all 3 books in this series. These 3 authors came together and gave us an awesome series that covers so many real issues in life. 5 stars for all 3 books!

Yes!

Bailey wrote the mess out of this book! Such a great way to end the series. I was a few pages in and laughed hysterically, mostly at Honey! When she talked about men with b names, I lost it! LOL Everyone needs a Honey in their life because she will help you get your life! Charlie and Wes were so perfect for each other. I’m glad she allowed herself to be loved, even at the risk of possibly being hurt again. Amazing series!

Beautiful

Awe I loved this book from beginning to a beautiful ending. She had to go through the steps of being a ballers girlfriend to living her life apart from him for thirteen yrs to get him back and it was like they never parted. I love how he set the pace fast for them to catch up to start their life together over. I do hope this isn't it for them,I need some kids and other marriages to happen and for Tracy to find her some heavy meat to use!!! Great book Bailey west.

Meant to be

This story is a good finale to the series. Wesley learned that he needed to surround himself with people he could truly trust. He threw away a good thing, but God blessed him to find it again. Charlean survived a lot of hurt and pain and wasn't willing to go down that road again with Wes. However, her heart, mind, spirit, and body didn't receive that message. I'm glad that she gave him a second chance. They both found out that what is meant to be will be.

Old love

I enjoyed the story of Charli and Wes finding each other again. You could feel the love they had for each other through the pages. I loved how they were able to get right back to where they left off and didn’t let all of that time apart stand in their way. I enjoyed revisiting scenes from the other two books and I loved Honey, I want a grandma like that lol. I really enjoyed reading all three books and wished their were more.

Love is forever...

Sweet story. I loved the chemistry between Charlene and Wesley. Their feelings for one another shows how deep of an impact love has on two people and that it’s a feeling that never goes away. I wish the story could have continued a little longer at least included an epilogue to get a glimpse of how things turned out for them. The historical inclusion was right up my alley...consider extending this story with more about the background of the house.

This was a GREAT book! I loved their storyline. They were both adults and knew what they wanted. They did not let the media influence them by telling them they were moving too fast. I love the fact that Everett was such a gentlemen to Jo. He took his time with her so she would be comfortable and showed her he was the real deal. Her friends were also a great add. I think this author did a GREAT job and I can’t read the second book in this series.

Cute! Short! Sweet!

I have to say I admired Wesley's courage to correct his wrongs, no matter what issues stood in his way and I admired the fact that Charli was not bitter, but very upset if the events of the past. I'm happy she allowed her emotions to express how she felt then and how she feels now, because if not this probably would've been a longer story. Lol! Very cute journey of a rekindled love. ReneeG 👍

Book 3 of the series ended on a good note. I'm so glad Charli & Wes were able to talk out their problems. Wes was young & had been mislead into thinking things should've been one way, when he was raised another way. But luckily he came to his senses even though it took quite a few years.
I was glad the 3 ladies were able to also Jumpstart their friendships again & pick right back up where they left off

First True Love

This is a wonderful story about what can happen when your first love is Really your first true love. Wesley and Charlene discovered that no matter who they were with after their college break up, No one could fill the void. What they discovered when unexpectedly running back into each other in their home town they needed their first true love to fill that void loved the story.

A sweet romance

I thoroughly enjoyed this book it was a sweet second chance read. A definite must read. I love how Ms West makes spirituality sexy. There’s something to be said about how extra attractive her characters are because they are imperfect beings who have a relationship with God. Love her ❤️

I discovered Ms. West while reading this series. After reading her other fabulous books, she has not disappointed me with this one. Fully developed characters and storylines. This book is a wonderful wrap up to an incredible series. Anxiously awaiting Ms. West' s next novel.

I really enjoyed this entire series. I loved how we saw the class reunion from all three point of views. Charli (aka Golden) and Wesley's story was really good. Their first love, break up, miscarriage & second chance at love was really enjoyable to read about. I'm so glad I gave this series a chance.

Love This Series

I love how the three friends from childhood reconnected and became best friends again. Wesley and Charli both deserved a second chance with each other. I was so happy they talked about what happened when they were younger. They got past the hurt and became one again.

Great love stories

Absolutely love the 3 books in the series, 3 authors collaboration, and 3 couples in the series. I sure hope there's more stories to be told of these couples. Lost love reclaimed, crushes evolved to full blown love, and love found on a lonely highway. I'd recommend a few glasses of wine, a few snacks and this 3 book series for a book club.

True Love

This book reads wirh such amazing imagery. Its like watching a movie...a love story. I like the trilogy this book is apart of. It has the success, drama, lessons learned, and extreme love to be shared. Read this (and the other two) twice already. I can't express how beautiful the three of the books are together. Still beautiful read alone.

Love stands the test of time

I love love.... Charlie & Wes demonstrated that love endures and is worth a second chance. Again Bailey West shows us that repentance and action can heal a broken relationship. Phenomenal story as expected from the Bailey West. Sidenote: Im going to grow up to be like Honey :-)

Sweet Story

This story was so good! Wes and Charli were definitely made for each other. I loved how Wes cared for Charli even though they were not together. He was patient but persistent in getting Charli back. I'm so glad Charli was able to finally have the life she had dreamed of as a kid!

This one was my favorite!

Out of the books in the series this was my favorite. I only wish there was more to the ending in the overall series but especially this book. I was hoping it would have ended with her being pregnant, which caused me to not be fully satisfied but still a good book overall.

Fitting end to the series but I don't want to day goodbye

I really loved Wes and Charl's story. They found their way back to each other after living other lives. I'm glad they'll have their children together and that the friends have reconnected. Would love to get an update of their lives with maybe a story for the new and improved Tracey :-)

Good book

This is the first book I've read by Bailey West. It will not be my last. I couldn't put the book down. I love the relationship Charlene had with her family and 2 friends (Emerson, and Roxanne). Honey was hilarious. Big Wes was a good father to Wesley and father figure to Charlene. Rico and Diamond were trifling. If you a quick good read, please order Inn Love.
