What an awesome book!!!!!
Omgggggggggggggg! Here I am up at 4:08 A.M. reading this book 🤦🏾♀️!!! My goodness!! This book was AWESOME! I’m still sitting waiting like it’s more to find out, like I literally smacked my lips when I realized it was over. Got real upset! Like how in the world can an author put out two books at once and still leave you wanting more!!!! Like this author is evolving with each and every story she writes! It’s a must that these books are turned in to movies! The way her stories flow smh, I can’t do anything when I read her books. I can’t eat,work, sleep, NOTHING! Desiree I just want to tell you that you are truly blessed with a very rare gift and again I’m happy I’m part of your journey!!!! Relax and take a trip now because you have definitely earned it! Job well done 👍🏽 ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I know this isnt the end,
However, I loved it! I have new favorite characters now! I'm so glad Piru and Frannie finally got together. Their story is so beautiful. Delilah...yes please, she's my new favorite. There were so many stories within this story and so much room left for more stories to answer unanswered questions. This and Nirvana together making one story complete made for an exciting read. The only thing I would say I didn't like was the over the top descriptions of the characters, seemed like every scene was overwritten with description of clothing or hair. Just something I noticed, didn't take away from the story. I'd still read it over and over again because, well, it was just that good.

Another one
Another great book. Lmao why you have to do my girl devyn like that at the sleepover? Too funny. I love Omni and Tucker’s relationship but really don’t care for her. Piru and Frannie I just love them. Can you just give trudence a mention somewhere where she get slapped or something? She’s irritating. Anyway this book was great. I need that romance on pia and homer.

More than I expected
Boy did I raise shell to get the correct copy of this one from Amazon and they handled it right away. Exceptionally well done. I loved how everything came together. Stacey, Tucker, Jason, and Gunner met their matches with these women. Glad to see Frannie join the family, and waiting to read more about Homer and the men.

Genius.
I don't know how this woman does it but she pens amazing, deep, and mind boggling stories filled with laughter, tears and awakenings every single time. I've never ever been disappointed by Desiree. Never. This was no different.

I fell in love with new characters and fell outta love with a few of the older ones. I need this Homer/Pia paranormal romance to happen ASAP! Sprinkle that black girl magic around! Great Job Desiree!!!

Absolutely love these books (Nirvana/Samsara) and the way they were written. Two books same story different point of views...GENIUS!!! VERY ENTERTAINING!!!
Update: I just re-read to prepare for Charmed...soooo good. As good as the first time. It was soooooooo EXCITING‼️‼️‼️‼️ Had me running back and forward like....

Stories within a story. Concurrent situations that add on where the other left off...this book rocks! Drama, mystery, comedy, love, supernatural, heartache, and satisfaction all wrapped up in one. This is one of the last two books of the Skye Sisters series. Read this first or Nirvana first, it doesn’t matter they are meant to be read one after the other. I would recommend reading all of Desiree’s previous series in order to truly appreciate this one. This author here ain’t no joke, she has changed the game for urban fiction!!

Unexpectedly wonderful series !
I never write a review until I have read all the books in a series. If a author writes more than one book on a subject I have to be able to finish it all. This author captivated me from her first page in the first book which is not easy to do. I'm a 64yr old grandmother who loves to read. I read everything and anything that speaks to me. I had never read this author. The face on the cover of Bambino caught my attention and opened me up to a whole world O didn't expect. This author drew me in so deep O found myself neglecting sleep, housework, good to finish whatever I was reading. She drew me in so good her books became my dreams. I would wonder what's happening with the characters during my day. As if they were a living breathing entity.
This is 2021. I don't do social media. I'm not prolific with computers. I only use my kindle for reading books and maybe looking up something on the net. I don't know how to follow you not do I know where you are in your writing but I just wanted to share that I think you are a gifted writer with a unique style.
I hope to see your books on film oneday. I will keep reading your work and thank you for giving an older woman something to read that excites her spirit!

Ok so let me start out by saying that I accidentally read these out of order because Hoodwinked popped up on my Audible and it had good reviews. So I said hmmmmm… let me go ahead and check it out. I then researched her and ended up reading Moon Child and then I listened to the Carter Boys on Audible. My dilemma came in because some stuff was available on Audible and some stuff was not and it wasn’t until I read the book synopsis for the not another thug book series that I figured out that there was an order that you were supposed to go in. My fault! So anyway Delilah she is a B! I thought it the whole way through. Same thing with Caroline. I’m glad Trinity found her happy. And figured out her comfortable self. Piru is a ol stingy azz negro! Ugh! Omni was one of my favorites still is but I’m seriously wondering what is really going on with her? Like so is she schizophrenic or is she seeing spirits? Or both? And Tuesday I love ❤️ her she is too funny had me dying in all of these books. Desiree please please give us a hint at your new pen name!

Loved It
Desiree knows how to put some stories together and that's why I love reading her work. I've finally gotten around to reading this book after holding on to it for a month. I guess because I just didn't want the series to end. Just like I was instantly drawn to the Carters the Skye sisters have definitely grown on me. What I do like about Samsara is that we finally get the real connection The Carters, Freemans, Turners and Skye families have with each other. I was happy when Piru finally confessed his feeling to Frannie, and the Skye family welcoming Frannie into the family. Bittersweet moment. Homer really pissed me off the way he treated Pia and I hope she gives him hell now that they have been reunited in an unexpected way. Great job desiree on an amazing series looking forward to reading what you have in store next.

All that can say about Desiree is that she is prolific with her pen. The style in which she puts her words together is incomparable. Urban fiction doesn’t get its just due in regards to the unique art that it is. Dialogue and discussion that directly speaks to the culture of Black people across America, who have been perpetually blindsided with reality fiction as a whole of who we are & the culture that has been lost in translation. Her books put that into perspective, all while making you laugh and appreciate that very aspect of feeling lost in America. It’s like through her own thoughts and consistent content pieces are found. A gem of sorts, that rivals any precious stone or crystal without being defined.

My absolute favorite author!
None of Desiree's book will disappoint you, Not One! I tried to take my dear time with this one because it's supposed to be the end of the Skye Sisters series and I wanted it to last as long as possible.
The secrets I learned about Grace taught me that you can really never completely know someone. Delilah was very intriguing and I wish I could have discovered more about her and her blooming relationship. The Skye men really are jerks, Homer disappointed me.. He deserves everything that Pia makes him suffer through. Franny and Piru are so adorable. Hopefully as readers we will get one more book from this family.

I have finally read everything available from Ms. Desiree Granger, under both pen names. What a talented author, she is! No one can make characters come alive like she can.
I enjoyed this installment. I love the magic in this series, which carries over into the Moon Run series (which I am about re-read). I went in not liking the Skye women, because I read The Moon Run Series before reading anything else by Desiree. Now I understand them better, and I still don’t too much care for the way they display toxic feminity and immaturity but they are entertaining (love Frannie and Nevaeh though.)
I will be thinking about these characters often.

Intriguing.
Okay. So this story got deep real quick. First I want to address Grace she’s terrible I never would’ve thought she’d go that far. So happy Piru and Fran finally got together. Homer got his soul snatched but he was still super wrong for the way he talked to Pia l (I felt like their story needed more). Delilah weird I could care less for her character. The pink girls .... why would Delilah want Apia apart of then and not Siren? So much to say but overall Desiree great job. ✨

Just like that? It cannot be done. There are so many unanswered questions & I hope we can get a few more books out of this. Where is Tobias Skye ? What's the story about Grace? What's the deal with Frannie's mom? It's like the questions were out to leave us hanging. And what happened to Marion? I gotta go back and read all these books again because I am hooked. Skye Women..love them real or not. What a great surprise Desiree..now please get these books on to Audible..It's a MUST. I would love to have this series playing in my ears.. I am A Fan.

I really enjoy this author. Ive been reading these books since the carter boys and i dont always like every body and everything (montana ... Demarco... Trudence ... Cristian.. Marion...shiloh... lol) ... But thats what makes it so good! The author develops these characters SO well! Like i effing LOVE TUESDAY! character development is so super freaking important in a book! And consistency! (Though the author needs to learn the word contentment) Look at gawd! A great urban read. Finally!

This is my Favorite!!!!!
I think that an author must have a vivid imagination to write a book, but the way this author brings the characters to life in this book is brilliant. I didn’t feel as if I was reading about fictional people. I felt as if they were real and I just reading events that happened in their lives. You connect with these characters as if you know them. I was in awe reading about the witchcraft. I was throughly entertained from beginning to end. Couldn’t put it down. Very well written and worth the wait. Well Done Desiree!!

Amazing book!
This was one of the best books I have read I love Desiree I wait to read more of her work I read all of her books will continue to support her I don't want to give too many details away about the book just read it you won't be disappointed. All her characters were off the hook it was just good I love the fact that she didn't stick to the norm this is not a regular urban book is beyond that. I love the sky girls I love everything about this book. Hell I love all her books

Awesome read
I have finally finished all from the Series, It was great I thought I would get of reading about some of the same characters but no I didn't I have thoroughly enjoyed every last book & sad that I'm finished well until Desiree puts out a new one I love Bambino and the ones to follow. I can't wait to see what comes out next now just like to shout my fav. characters MY Girl Tuesday, Devyn, Jordyn with a Y & Frannie for the men Junie boy, Yayo, Elijah, Ontrell and my ultimate fav Carter Piru!

Samsara
This book answered a lot of questions but, also left room for more. I’m so sad to see these characters go but, they must go on. I’m happy Frannie got her happy ending. Everyone got their happy evening really and the ones that didn’t got what they deserved. This book was excellent! The way she reeled these characters in and let them get their shit off was just crazy! I loved it! She never disappoints

I can always count on this author to tell a good story. There's a lot of authors in this business but there isn't a lot of great storytellers. She definitely is one. I laughed, was shook and got mad all within this story. You can see the growth in the characters. I felt like I was in this story watching Lexus have Devyn act a fool, seeing that love spell go wrong, Frannie and Piru do their usual song and dance. This Skye family is deep.

If you haven't read the works of Desiree, you're doing yourself a disservice. This book catches you, takes hold and doesn't let go 'til the last word of the last chapter.
The characters are so easily seen as real-life walking, talking, living beings that you're caught up from the very beginning. You just gotta know, gotta know, gotta know what happens next.

This one was EVERYTHING. The other one that start with a N, narvana or something before I read this I read that one. Didn’t like it but this one right here was everything. I hate you for not being more or giving us more in 2018 but love you so much for giving me life honey. Don’t know what I’m gone do with my time while waiting for something else for you. Really hoping for the shape shifter books really or those of that sort.
