They are here to find the cure—in a secret laboratory hidden underneath a metropolis overrun by zombies. What could possibly go wrong?

Finding the French Resistance was only the first step in achieving their mission. With impossible odds looming ahead, Bree is forced to bury the hatchet and work with Bucky Hamilton and his men to get to their destination—a secret underground lab previously part of the serum project that might just hold the most valuable thing on earth: a cure for the zombie virus. Too bad that it’s located in Paris, a city that had a population ranging in the millions before the apocalypse happened—and as they are to find out soon, things went down very different in Europe from what they have gotten used to in the States. Can they find the cure—and can they even get to where it might be stored? And, more importantly—is the cure the actual reason Hamilton was sent to breach that lab? Time will tell—if they don’t run out of people first.

Is 10 Billion stars too much?

Okay, admittedly I was a little taken aback when Lecter decides to send her merry band of serum project soldier across the pond on a secret mission with none other than Bucky Hamilton resident turd and leader of the project. Hamilton and Nate have a backstory that is like none other. That alone should make readers hate him, but it's his vile hostility towards our leading lady that gets a rise out of me. Needless to say, I thought Lecter might have run out of ideas when France was mentioned. Boy was I wrong.

Set aboard the last Navy destroyer and France, Bree is still healing from the dreadful torment she underwent. No time to heal and definitely no time to back down in front of Hamilton she's out and ready to complete the secret mission only to be found that she's once again the grunt and not allowed any information.

Lecter really shows the good and evil side of all the characters in this one. Nate has definitely did his fair share of deceiving. Unlikely trust and bonds develop between Bree and the military she's hated since book 2. But it's Lecters heart pumping, evolved zombies that really take the show in France.

GLUED. I was GLUED to my kindle. Had it died, I may have while reading this story. Every page was filled with jumpy, wild, impossible moments that tested the character and the reader. Bringing action alive to kindle books everywhere, Lecter did not disappoint.

Oh. My. God.

Bree is like my spirit animal, or something. She is such a badass, and I seriously don't ever want these books to end. Do you hear me Adrienne?

I started this series in April this year and read books 1-8 back to back not realizing the series wasn't over.
1. Thank god for the "here's what's happened previously" to catch me up because going those few months I forgot a few things.
2. I could not put this book down (not that that's any different than the last 8).
I am sad for the losses. Please stop killing people. I know it's a zombie apocalypse and people die but seriously please stop killing my favorites.
I pretty much loved everything about this book. I love that the story is continuing and even though you're reading about the same people, you're not getting tired of the story since its constantly changing and developing and going where you wouldn't expect. PLOT TWIST.
I cannot wait for book 10!

Awesome as usual

A continuing awesome story with a great cast of characters. Follow our characters long as they travel through the zombie apocalypse. We gain new friends we lose new friends we find old friends we lose old friends. You never know what’s going to happen in the zombie apocalypse this time on a trick to France as they try and find out more information about Nate‘s brother and what started the entire thing.
Some of the same old battles and some new ones action packed from beginning to and you won’t want to stop reading until you are finished. And awesomely entertaining zombie apocalypse at series. Check them all out nine books Check them all out

Exodus

OMG.....I didn't want this book to end!! Action, adventure, and finally freedom?!?!.......or is it. I need the next book to see what other trouble Bree will get them into. Also, I request that they get Bucky....you know why!!! I'm thinking a tiny cell, lots of fun torture, and loads of screaming!! Or, in a huge twist, he switches sides and becomes the "traitor" while trying to make up for everything he's done. OMG....I need the next book or my imagination is gonna go wild.

Brilliant as always

Adrienne Lecter never fails to produce a heart pounding, emotional roller coaster of a story. This is one of those series that often pops into my head at random times and I mull over details and then just have to re-read. I thoroughly enjoyed this installment, Bree has an awesome internal narrative that keeps me smiling and her relationship with Nate is as sarcastically loving as ever! I can't wait to see where book 10 takes us.

Another great story in this series!

This story simply follows the previous ones in this series and they are AMAZING! Adrienne Letter writes characters with such depth, it makes them easy to fall in love with ( Or dislike depending on the character). It's so much more than just another zombie story. Give this series a try and you won't want to put the books down and it will just leave you wanting more!

Great read

I enjoyed this book very much because I felt like I got caught up with the storyline. I am so glad the author is not done yet because I will like reading how the two main characters continue on with their life and what is still left out in the world for them to endure and try to make a life for themselves.

Love this series!!

I've looked forward to every book in this series, and it never disappoints. The characters and their development has been amazing to read. The situations Bree gets herself in are even better. Definitely one of my favourite series in this genre. Adrienne wows time and time again.

I don’t think I’ve ever read this many books in a series. It’s a real compliment to the author that she keeps the plot twists coming and our gal Bree never stops being a bad ass! (Although there have been a few gut wrenching moments- pun intended) I’m going to give World of Anthrax a try but I don’t think anyone will compete with Green Fields.

Good solid read

This was a solid addition to the Greenfield series. I missed some of the familiar characters and their comradery but happy to spend time with Bree and Nate. I will definitely read the next one.

What a heck of a ride! I enjoyed this book very much along with the previous 8 books in the series. This book had all of the ingredients of a great post apocalyptic read. I can't believe I waited so long to start this series!

Back to boring?

Probably not something you can count on with these guys. Exciting reading, interesting subject, a healthy Dr rose of violence. What's not to love about these stories?

This is the story you want. There are so many crap story lines about zombies. A strong female lead in a detailed riveting series. I am dying for more books like this.
