Where to begin with this strange and charming book? Well, at the first page (skipping the preface), savouring each quip, haiku, mini-story, weird fable, moral lesson, aborted screenplay, painting, or other oddness, until the all-too-brief end on p119. Then go back and read it again.
Highly recommended for fans of avant-garde Russian lit (uh, not that many, which explains the absence of reviews on Goodreads). Also worthwhile for devotees of Russian classics too.
