This is book 7. The gang hunts for one of three items needed for Halo to rise from the dead. Determined to keep an unholy resurrection from happening, they stop at nothing to secure the skull. Sophie and Logan take the leap into marriage for the sake of the immortal community.
Chrissy Peebles, a practicing nurse, has always loved reading and writing fantasy from the earliest age she can remember. She plotted every single twist she could think of during bedtime stories for her children. When her little ones begged for more adventures, she felt confident enough to let her overeager imagination and sense of humor spill out into her first novel. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two young kids, one hamster, three dwarf hamsters and cat. When she's not taking the kids to Little League soccer, basketball, or baseball, she loves to snap photos as her favorite hobby.
Working for the paranormal council sends Sophie and friends on lots of dangerous missions. However, I was surprised on one of the missions this time. Paranormals are one thing but throw in a god and it becomes all kinds of crazy.
I love these characters. Unlike some other books, these characters don't automatically know how to use their powers. So they have to learn and grow into them. Sophie is learning all kinds of new powers and her sister Eve is learning how to use her ghostly skills as well.
I absolutely loved some of the creatures they came across in their travels. A minotaur, hellhounds and a cyclops were awesome additions to the story. Of course the highly awaited event happens in this story and that doesn't go off without some kind of issue. I can't wait to see what this group has to deal with on their next batch of missions.
Logan and Sophie has had their share of adventure, but their wedding was worth the wait.. I am currently on to the next book, and know that there is so much more adventure to come. Lysander’s premonition is a bit concerning, but I am sure all will be well, in the end.
