Heartbreaking and passionate

I enjoyed Rollan Wengert's creative take on this unfinished Mozart singspiel. It's a beautiful story that, while ending in tragedy, pulls the heartstrings in all the right places, playing a beautiful tune of love, sacrifice, and longing for purity. I wonder how Mozart would have finished his opera. A quick enjoyable read. There are three or four swear words but otherwise nothing to cause alarm. I'd recommend this book to readers who enjoy historical fiction and don't mind sweetly sad endings.
