This might as well have been titled "Flint's Libido". going from one sexual encounter to another. In some cases, the completion of his mission was ignored. Just 'got a little' and back to home base.
Also the editing of this edition is appalling. I got the books on the strength of Anthony's "rep". Well, it was a mistake. He may, in fact, have written some wonderful things. But I am afraid the Cluster left me so disappointed that I will not be looking for anything else by this guy

A broad spectrum of alien species and their interactions

It was quite interesting to see the concept of Kirlian photography extended to a technology that allows the consciousness of a sapient creature to be transferred over many light years to the form of another creature occupying that creature simultaneously with the original consciousness. It was fascinating to see the study of how different species moved, thought, interacted and approached their environments and how their forms dictated the way in which they procreate was fascinating. Well written showing how different species with different needs, desires and drives interact with each other. Often with two minds in one body while one mind is from an alien species.

The Cluster series,an engrossing tail.

I am a Xanth fan, reading the new episode every year on vacation but this year there was no new Xanth installment. I found this series on line an down-loaded it to my phone. Unusual for me because I like to have the book in my hand not on the phone. I finished the whole series in 2 weeks staying up late until the battery died. Another Piers Anthony epic

Deeply moving set of novels full of philosophy of life

The set encompasses thousands of years of the future history of the human species, with an underlying theme of the philosophy of life. It is a bit of a marathon read but it is a very worthwhile one. I have read a lot of his Xanth novels and many of his sci fi novels and this series is a great example of his sci fi style.

Love it

What more to be said. I’ve never been disappointed with ANY thing written by Piers Anthony. It was new for me to not be in Xanth but enjoyed having my mind expanded to these realms of strange beings we could never imagine

An exhausting read.

This a 1500 page monster. The individual novels/chapters have some good, great, and so, so moments. So much focuses on aura/personal energy ; I wish that they would just mention that in the beginning. Some interesting concepts and points of view.
