My second read on a story line with superheroes and villains. I fell in love with Harleigh and Onyx. I love their story being told from his point of view. Learning his background and how he learned to deal with the life that was given him was great. I love to learn the background it helps me see how the hero became who they are now. Onyx is a strong hero that falls hard for his love from childhood. I an not sure what I love the most. The love story or the action that they all faced. I can't wait for the next one.

This is my first book that I have read of Nikki Landis'. I am so sorry I haven't read her before. This book captured my attention and kept it throughout until the very end.
The Sinners Syndicate is the companion novels (or male perspective) of the Volatile Vixens series. The thing is that even though I haven't read Harleigh (Volatile Vixens #1), I didn't feel as if I was lost in the world of altered DNA. The story is so well written that I didn't even realize that Harleigh's story had already been told. Onyx's no holds barred feelings come full force and leaves no doubt his feelings for his best friend's sister Harleigh.
I recommend this story/series to anyone who likes villainous heroes, action, flaming (pun intended) chemistry and even villains you will love to hate. Look forward to reading the rest in the series as well as going back to read the Volatile Vixens to get the female perspective.

The story of Onyx and Leigh was awesome.
Fast pace lots of action and plenty of steam all wrapped up in this book.
The book kinda started out a little slow and a little confusing but after the fourth chapter it started to speed up and making sense and I became completely hooked and I couldn’t climb out of the book until I got to the end.
So yep you got it I do recommend this book because I thought it was a great story to climb into and get completely lost within its pages.

After reading Harleigh’s story in Volatile Vixen I was itching to get my hands on Derek “Onyx” next. Having the story told from his POV and seeing the blend from Leigh’s side earlier but now we’re getting even more details had me glued to my kindle every chance I had. Their story is fast paced and filled with action, suspense and panty soaking scenes. Just when I thought I was figuring out the Syndicate there’s another bread crumb thrown our way and I want to know more about these characters. I’m so excited and will be waiting for Blaze and Ivy’s stories next. This is such a great original paranormal series that everyone needs to read. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

I loved this book!
Nikki Landis writing is very compelling, drawing you into the world if her characters. It's like dreaming with your eyes open.
This book is written in Derek/Onyx perspective telling the story if abuse, torture and experimentation of Harleigh, Devon and himself when they were children and the desire to continue protecting them.
Her Characters are amazing and the storyline is strong. I was able to follow it from the beginning to the end, on the edge of my seat.
I will definitely be reading Harleigh's story.

If you've already read Harleigh (Volatile Vixens #1) by the very talented Nikki Landis, then you're familiar with the very sexy, Derek Masterson a.k.a. Onyx. For obvious reasons, this one was told from his point of view. Which was a refreshing twist, since we got to know Harleigh through his eyes. All in all, it was another great read and I highly recommend it to all lovers of dark paranormal romance. Must be 18+

Onyx is a dark paranormal romance with amazing characters. I love Onyx and Harleigh! I haven't read Harleigh's story yet but I am definitely going to read it soon. This is a well written, steamy read full of grit, action, dark romance and twists that kept me turning the pages. A Great Story!
I loved the storyline. It reminded me of the first of the X-men series only with more sex!
Everyone is just learning their powers and being trained on how to use them. I loved all the levels of power & the characters that go with them. But more than that, the reason all of this is happening and who’s behind it makes it even more exciting & powerful. With many characters and opportunities to extend this series, I expect it to be one of my favorite paranormal romance series.
The narration was outstanding. I love how he portrayed each character easily and brought them to life.
I would recommend this book!

Amazingly Fantastic Story!
What a unique and interesting story about heroes and villains. The concept of the story is intriguing and intense. Lots of action packed in and delivering a big punch. The story was a fast paced roller coaster ride right from the start. And the characters are so interesting and original.
The dynamics and relationship between Onyx and Harleigh is intense and steamy hot. These two characters are made for each other. I loved their story and I can’t wait to read more.

If you loved Harleigh by this author, you'll love this. Harleigh gives us an innocent perspective on the changes her 'kind' is going through. Derek, on the other hand, has more background information on the Collector and such. We also see the obsession he has with Harleigh, and the manly want and need to own her and she own him. The action scenes were my favourite and to see the story from another point of view, with the awesome power he has, was enjoyable.
This story is for those who like good vs evil, romance, action, extremely naughty scenes, and the anti-hero (kinda) wins the heart of the girl scenario.

The book is well written, is interesting and very well thought out. It is intriguing, fast paced, hot and steamy.
The Author has done an excellent job in the detailed descriptions of the various scenes and settings, including the characters and the emotions that they go through.
Development of characters is good.
The two main characters keep the pages full of sexual tension, and the other characters are interesting in their own right.

I thought I knew what this was gonna be, maybe a bit more added from his point of view but no......this was more then that!!
Even though I'd read Harleigh and thought I knew it all, I was wrong. This story is darker, grittier and really showed how much Harleigh was unaware of. Derek has many hidden depths to him.
I'm really enjoying this world, all the amazing characters and the cool powers. Wasn't ready to put this down until the end of it.
I kinda wish I could at least visit this world, I think I'd made a great well......not sure which, maybe both.....villianous/hero!

This book drew me in with the cover and the fact that it this is a dark romance and I was so hooked in. I love a dark romance as I am not a believer in hearts and flowers you always go through bad times before you end up finding happiness. Derek has a hard past and he thought he had managed to escape it but at 25 it comes back to haunt him. This time he is more prepared to handle it. Such a great read

If you liked Harleigh, you will love Onyx. I really enjoy Nikki Landis writing style, she draws you in and it's not long till you are hooked. The different viewpoints in this book made it even more exciting. Looking forward to reading as much as I can from this author. I recommend this to anyone eighteen and older.

Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. Such an original storyline. Hooked me from the start and couldn’t put it down. I absolutely loved getting to know Onyx better. Can he get control of the need for vengeance that ignites his veins? Fast paced and with a darkness I crave, can’t wait to see where these characters end up!
