Wow what to say I should have been cleaning the house but couldn't stop reading once I started. I love the connection between Donovan and Leia he was determined that the age difference didn't matter to him. I love how all the original characters are still interwoven in the book love Erin and Alex and Seb and Tara they are all still in the story even it focuses on Donovan. A fantastic series I am now going to start the next one

I truly liked Donovan and Leia and enjoyed watching Leia admit things to herself. Had the tale been only their story, I would have been satisfied.
However, the rest of the book. . . Have you ever been to a party where you are meeting everyone for the first time, the partygoers know each other intimately, and more and more of their dear friends keep dropping by while you are sitting in the draperies wondering who these people are? Yep, that sums up the rest of the book for me.

Chaotic, exaggerated and unfinished storylines. Was expecting more from it after the first book in the series.

December 2024 review -

I can tell you that I reread this book in less than 24 hours too! I loved everything about Donovan and Leia’s story. I'm loving being back with the Red & Black family. Highly recommended!!

February 2022 review -

Crimson Melodies is another unputdownable story by Grace Harper. I have read this book in less than 24 hours, and I cannot wait to start Errol’s story which is narrated via the next book in this series - Raven Acoustics.

Donovan and Leia’s story makes addictive reading. Donovan is just starting his career in the spotlight whereas Leia has already known fame for many years. It is through Red & Black record label that they meet, and the chemistry between them is instant. Living your life in the spotlight brings its challenges, and that was something that the couple had to work through. Everything moves quickly between the pair and in some ways I would have loved their developing relationship to have been a slow burn romance. However, there is much happening in this book and for this to ensue their story would possibly have had to be written as a duet.

I found every moment spent with the Red & Black family to be exciting and had me sitting on the edge of my seat at times. I absolutely love Erin, Alex, Tara, Seb and all at the record label. I appear to be very protective of them and hated the thought of anyone hurting them in any way. As much as I dislike a couple of the characters in this series, their presence adds to the storylines brilliantly.

There are a couple of things that niggled me – I hold up my hand and admit that am a very picky reader. However, I must give the book the 5 stars that it deserves. I highly recommend Crimson Melodies to you to read.
