When Arthur Ashe was a kid, he found his dad's tennis racquet and started to play at age 6. He watched this really good player called Ronald Charity. His mom passed away while trying to give birth. The baby died too. Arthur Ashe spent most of his time learning tennis. He alswyas focused on what his coach said. He won lots of tournaments. When he was sixteen he went to this tennis camp and that place was 100 miles away from Richmond. He did not behave well for a couple of months and then his dad came over and gave him a lecture. Then he focused again. He became a great champion. He died with this disease AIDS.

He loved tennis since when he was a young boy and so do I. I like Arthur Ashe because he was my favorite tennis player and because he broke the color code in most places. He showed lots of young players how to play the game. And he taught them how to find ways to beat opponents mentally and physically. I would like to copy his style of game. I think he's the best tennis player of all time. I don't mean only hitting the ball but outside the court and his sportsmanship.
