Great rule set, very well structured. It forfeits fluff in order to give all the essential tools for playing skirmish, narrative driven, battles as soon as you finish reading it. I think that this is the W40k version I'm keen on playing. I hope they release something similar for Horus Heresy...

New edition of core rules for Kill Team. Well thought out and designed for quick pickup and mass appeal. The rules are a bit poorly written/organized, in the same manner that plagued WHFB 8e. All told, the rulebook is easy to navigate, the fluff is typical and the rules largely work (though Thousand Sons did not get nearly as much love as Death Guard, which is bullshit).

This is a straight up rulebook, covering the mechanics of the game, as well as rules for force creation. With that said, I think it serves its purpose quite well- it is very easy to read, the rules are very nicely presented, and after one read-through I feel very confident I could sit down and play a game with minimal re-reference to the book, which is the key. Well done, GW.

I would love to have rated this 5 stars as the rules and presentation are excellent. The trouble begins with the force organization section. I found this to be really unclear and it will require more research on my part before I can try this game. It does seem as if it will be a fun game to play.

An easy to read and navigable guide for playing Skirmish level Warhammer 40,000. My favorite part was the variety of tables that you can select or roll off on to generate names and demeanours of your squad, perfect for someone like me who enjoys the narrative of a game!

Certain sections of Kill Team just need a bit of attention to structure. I've played two matches with this rule set and already feel comfortable navigating the book, however. An immensely fun game and a, "well done" to Games Workshop with this release.
