I waited with baited breath for this, and omgosh, I still am waiting! 😭
I really do not know what more I can say about your writing, I haven't already said, I am an addict of yours!
While this series had everything, including a very realistic plot line, I SO NEED THE END!
For those of you whom love plot twists, mayhem, murder, just your everyday systemic craziness, you will adore this series, just as much as I have done.
Warning, you really need to read Alex's story beforehand. It isn't absolutely nessecery, but it certainly helps understand Kendra's entrance into Madame's sociopathic, greedy, basically screwed up world!
Ms. Thomas, I was already a huge fan and follower of yours, and now am your hair pulling addict! Please, please have the final waiting,I went crazy waiting for this, and smack, you threw me off the cliff, yet again!
Anyone whose interested in an author whose writing is diverse, thrilling and mind bending (Kelly Black Affair), as well as fun and comedic, C.J. Thomas is your author! Really, there is so much out there from here, I can only imagine her success!
Yet, she doesn't disappoint, I am always thrilled to read one of C.J. Thomas's books!

OMG...SO WORTHY
This is packed full of energy. You feel Kendra's and Kelly's love, pain, conflict of emotions and the decisions that they must make for there futures.
A quote from the book, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and the way in which Kendra received those words of wisdom, it was like putting an other nail in her already waiting coffin in her head. Kelly has heavy burdens to carry and protecting his "Bella" aka Kendra is one of them. He learns the truth behind his wife and son's untimely deaths. He constantly struggles with the always present memories of his late wife and son.
It is truly an emotional charged and packed with drama and suspense. I COULDN'T put it down! Great job CJ Thomas!

YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT!!!!!, THE KELLY BLACK SERIES
I am including the complete series in this review.
From the beginning to the end, each book is riveting. The characters come alive in your solar plexus, the ones you love and the ones you despise. The paths each wind around are nowhere near predictable. I am sure each reader keeps the part they are reading continuously alive in the back of their minds all day until they can pick up their book again. (I bet plenty of couples enjoyed intertwining parts of Kelly and Kendra's personal times together into their own lives 😉 ) Let's top this one, CJ.. I need another exciting book to read!

Wow what an amazing series
I love the Kelly Black series and hope it all works out for kendra and Kelly. What an adventure these two have been on will they survive or will madam finally break kendra and ruin their wonderful relationship? What a roller-coaster of a ride they've been on with all their ups and downs and it's not all over yet. Can't wait for black surrender to see what happens with these 2 next. C J Thomas is a fantastic writer and knows just how to keep you entertained I was unable to put this book down as always till I'd finished.. Love the series and how it links back to Hollywood dreams series bringing characters from those books into this series. Fantastic read

The story continues.
As with the other five books, C. J. Thomas writes a story like no other. The stories keep you glued to your seat. In Black Escape , C. J. does it again. Just when I thought I had all the good guys and bad guys identified, the plot twists and turns leaving you scratching your head at what you just read.. Her books never end on how you're expecting and they leave you wanting more, much more. This series is a top notch collection and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Get started today, you won't be disappointed!!!! Plus I wouldn't mind a Kelly Black in my life! 😉

Highly Suspenseful
Black Escape is the most tension filled and suspenseful of this series. The pressure mounts as the roster of players increases and becomes so twisted and entangled that it's difficult to keep the bad guys and the good guys straight. Madam continues to be ths master puppeteer pulling strings in every direction. Always one step ahead, even Kelly is having a hard time keeping up with all the roadblocks being thrown at him and Kendra. The mind games are taking their toll and being able to trust even those clisest to Kelly and Kendra is becoming increasingly difficult.

Love this series!
Love, love, love this series! Kelly and Kendra are so good together! Though Kendra has been through too much and it just keeps getting piled on. Unsure who to trust, who is going to hurt them they have only themselves and a handful of people. This book along with the other five is well written, the twist and turns are incredible and will keep you on edge. Madam, Oscar, and Jerome are just plain evil. Love this series, highly recommend but, hate having to wait for the conclusion! Come on C.J. get it to us quick, please.

The Excitement of Kelly Black continues.
I have been anxiously awaiting this part of the Kelly Black saga. And it did not disappoint!!!
I love the breathtaking tension that the author creates and the unexpected turns that the story takes. The erotic scenes are really hot too.
I would definitely recommend this series to my friends, as I have all of the others by C.J. Thomas.
PS. Please hurry up and conclude the story!!!

Wow
This on going story has kept me on the edge of my seat! The mystery,twists,turns,and back again. I'm at the edge of disappointment,that we are coming to the end of the story. But at the same time,I can hardly wait!
The lives of Kelly Black,Kendra,Giselle,are ongoing with this mystery. It's exciting,and when I got to the last page,kept tapping my kindle for next page of the story,so now I have to wait!

I loved this series, always kept me guessing and wanting to read faster. Please finish their explosive story. I want to make sure Alex is going to be okay as well, please, please don't wait a year to finish the story. I want to read that Madam and the DA get their just rewards as well. Black Escape (A Kelly Black Affair Book 6)
Awesome storylines between all of the character's in this story! Excellent story about how much two people needed each other to make their desires and happiness in this story! The final book brought it all up to complete this authors books! I enjoyed reading this authors books. This series we're exceptionally exciting and the adventure to find happiness with each other! Dangerous for all that was involved! ENJOY!

Not liking the ending at all
Okay now. This ending just ain't right. But I still have enjoyed reading all 6 books. Just hope there is at least 1 more book to come next and soon. Need a more complete ending on the 2 main characters. More on their love and roughness sexual attraction for each other. And as a reader we need the uncle and her parents to pay for what they did to her as a child. Karma needs to be showered upon them in a greatly manner.

Bording
I have faithfully read each book 1-5 with excitement but I was bored reading this as it is just a rehash of previous books. I felt I had to stick with it just to see how it ended and again no ending just wait for book 7. I fully appreciate an author has to make money but this series could have been an excellent 3 books not a padded 7

Have not been able to stop reading!
I don't think I have ever read a book so quickly before. Each one in this series had me on the edge of my seat. I normally don't read a series until all of them are released because I'm impatient but I couldn't help myself. Can't wait for the last one to be released!

This series of books is one of the best I have ever read. It keeps you guessing from start to finish. Their love is so strong and the way it is written just makes you want more. Can't wait for the final chapter to get here. This is a definite read for everyone.

Intrigue, suspense
OMG, I was in the edge of my seat the whole way through this book. All the twist and turns. Who could Kendra and Kelly trust? Would Oscar the DA and the Madam finally get what they deserve? You will have to read Black Escape to find out. Well worth the read. Can't wait for Black Surrender.

I was glued. Had a hard time putting it down.
It kept me guessing, who was on whose side. It totally fooled me. Glad Madame and the DA got theres. But a lil disappointed there's a continuation but also happy because there is more to the story. Hopefully learn more of Madame and the DA fate. And hopefully her mom and uncle get theres. Hurry up and write it . Cant wait

Great book!!
This book was awesome!! It was so dark, gritty and suspensful. I loved it. It kept me on the edge of my seat.I cannot wait to read the last one. I really hope that you keep writing book series about these casts of characters that you have creatd throughout the Hollywood Dreams books and the Black series of books.

What a conclusion?
At times throughout this series I felt like Kendra during one of her nights of passion; On the edge, ready to crest and then not able to finish. This series has so many moments that provoked an adrenaline rush, ups and downs, breath holding times, especially book 6 (my favorite) A long but good series.

The black series
Well,first being that this series was very well written, made you think of the characters in the story believable and the action throughout was being built piece by piece. Couldn't put the series down until the end. Now I wanted to know is how Kendra and Kelly turned out. And if anyone one else got to go to jail?

Omg!! Fantastic ending!! So many twists and turns I felt like I was on a twirling roller coaster! So intense and suspenseful! Loved Kelly and Kendra’s whirl wind of adventures through coverups and deceit! Just fantastic!!

Amazing!!!!
So love Kelly and Kendra!!! Their story was scary at times but also amazing how they would fight and protect each other at all costs!!! Hope that they get their happy ending.
