The term whirlwind doesn't even begin to describe it. One moment it was lingering stares and stolen smiles. The next... it was a white dress and the honeymoon suite.
But it didn't last. Annulled after twenty-three days. Your typical Las Vegas mistake. I moved on, I focused on work, but my heart never stopped beating for her.
For Jennifer Parker. My Jenny.
Ten years later and she's come home for her little sister's wedding. She's staying here — at my family's hotel. Drinking at my bar. Using my fancy towels.
Staying in my room. Moaning my name...
Just one night, we agreed. One night to give us the closure we never got before. But just a touch of her ivory skin... and I'm hers all over again.
I fell in love with a girl ten years ago. And I'm going to give her one night in Las Vegas she’ll never forget.
Just a Touch is Kindle-melting hot, hilarious, and guaranteed to tug your heart strings!
Heartthrob Hotel - Four billionaire brothers and the women who steal their hearts! Just a Touch (Graham’s story) Just a Kiss (Hayden’s story) Just a Fling (Ira’s story) Just a Crush (Jonah’s story)
USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Tabatha Kiss is from Chicago, Illinois.
You can probably catch her huddled up in a hoodie, reading a good romance beneath a tree with her trusty husky by her side. She enjoys roller derby, sushi, and is always searching for her forever bad boy.
“Just a touch and that was it. And what a touch it was.”
This has sent in my Kindle library since OCTOBER, either completely ignored or bypassed for some reason or another. I wouldn’t have even known about this book had it not been for Just A King popping up on my radar and being such a phenomenal read for me. I don’t know why I’ve held off reading this for so long, there really is no set reason.....I just always seem to have some new release I’m dying to crack open or a book I just want to read more at the time. No more ignoring, it’s time for me to start my journey of getting to know the Botsford brothers (since I absolutely LOVED their father).
Since this is Graham’s book, he was the first to go against Kingston (so to speak).....would he take his dad’s spot as my fav Botsford man? I was ready to find out. I realized quickly that it was actually better that I held off so long, in doing so I couldn’t remember everything from the epic (& series finale-type) epilogue at the end of Just A King. It goes without saying that most books end with HEA, but I’m not sure I would have enjoyed this as much if I knew certain details about the journey getting there. This wasn’t as good as Kingston & Fiona’s story, BUT it definitely reignited my interest & eagerness to read the rest of the series. Even though it was 250 pages, it felt much shorter than that. It was sweet, with very little angst or drama and a good guy for our hero.....not my usual go-to but what can I say, every now & again my heart needs a break.
Overall Story/Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 Graham: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jenny: ⭐️⭐️ Emotional Connection: NONE (it wasn’t that kind of story) Steamy Scale: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Book Facts: POV: Dual About: The first installment in the Heartthrob Hotel series, a collection of interconnected stand-alones each featuring one of the Botsford men. This second chance/sweet romance introduces us to the oldest brother Graham & the “one that got away”, Jenny. They were too young the first time and it ended with bad blood and resentment. But when Jenny finds herself in the Las Vegas location of Botsford Plaza at the same time as Graham, she makes a vow to steer clear of him. Too bad he has other plans. Jenny is the only woman he has ever loved and he doesn’t plan to let her slip away again. Can he convince her to give it another shot, or will their past have her running yet again? Safe Read? Yes, absolutely no triggering subjects. How does it end?
My Thoughts: Positives: Graham, the brothers bond & banter, sweet, easy on the heart, “mention” of a fav couple from the Bad Ballers series. Negatives: Jenny, some drama didn’t feel necessary to plot. What went right? I loved Graham, he is definitely alpha but isn’t afraid to be “owned” by the woman he loves. He goes after what he wants, isn’t afraid to love, and refuses to play games. I loved “meeting” his brothers from his POV....you immediately see their bond and their back & forth banter was responsible for a majority of my laughing while reading. I’ve seen some reviews that state the sex is over the top/too much BUT I must have read a different book because it was the perfect amount & was written to steamy perfection. The romance was sweet, with little drama which made it easy on the heart. The one thing that I kinda got a little too excited about was the mere mention of a fav couple of mine from another one of her series....it gave me hope that I would see more of them in Hayden’s story. What went wrong? As much as I loved Graham, I disliked Jenny just as much. She is the complete opposite of him.....she is unsure, scared of what she wants, and quick to jump to conclusions. She also seemed to be unable to make decisions without a man approval, which kind of irked me. She definitely doesn’t have a shot at the top spot for fav lady of the series. The only other issue I had is with the “drama”.....there is very little as it is, but what is there feels forced just to add something completely unnecessary to the plot. The one piece that felt like it belonged was resolved just as fast as it happened, making it insignificant in the overall storyline.
Verdict: Overall, this is an easy yes for me. As long as you don’t mind a book that is sweet (with a touch of frustrating) with a straightforward plot, I don’t see any reason this wouldn’t be a good read for you too. It’s not likely to end up on any “favs” lists, but it does work as a good “breather” read in between the ones that require your heart to recuperate.

This story is standard romance fare, but it disappointed even my low expectations. It was promising at the start … until the heroine showed up. The writing is juvenile, the pacing slow, characterization poor. The hero is a decent sort, with a reasonably interesting back story, but a doormat who fails to enchant. The heroine is vulgar, bratty, and irrational – a walking cliché.
The premise for the whole big drama is frankly ludicrous: the heroine jumping to conclusions and refusing to talk about it. It simply would not happen. However, the author could not think of a better excuse why madly-in-love Graham and Jennifer should be married at nineteen, but divorced after twenty-three days. So we are stuck with it. After ten years apart, these two incredibly gorgeous people are still single. Okay, we’ll go with that. So much in this story is unrealistic, however, the main issue is that all the strived-for humour is the result of Jen’s stupidity. At twenty-nine, she behaves like a spoilt teenager, getting stumbling drunk, barking aggressively at all and sundry, dropping countless f-bombs to show how “kick-ass” she is, and yet she remains the adored object of the rather dull hero. The more she rejects him, the more he wants to “win her back”. Why? Because, apparently, her astounding good looks make up for her horrid personality.
The entire story takes place inside a fabulously luxurious hotel in Vegas, yet there is no sense of place, no enticing descriptions of the plush facilities. But the biggest disappointment is the pedestrian treatment of the supposedly smouldering sexual tension between the protagonists. The first bedroom scene spans three whole chapters. The rather mundane sex is described in breathless, microscopic detail as though these two had invented the Kama Sutra. Also, they never stop talking! And finally, the book is in dire need of a good editor to fix missing words, repetitions, and continuity errors.
I devoured this book in less than 3 hours! It sucked me in completely.
I love this newest addition to the Kissiverse! Graham is a Botsford. (Name might ring a bell if you've read the Snake Eyes series.)
We start on a hot, wet monsoon storm day in fabulous Las Vegas, Graham walks into the family hotel to see his ex-wife at the desk arguing with the clerk because apparently her room reservation was screwed up.
Jennifer is there for her baby sis's wedding. She hoped to avoid her ex. Even did research so she could.
Little did either of them expect to see the other, but oh boy, aren't we glad they did!
Hot, steamy, second chance love story.
Throw in some sexy, not always helpful brothers, some family history, fathers giving fatherly advice, sister time, a not altogether welcome former best friend...and you have the makings of a fabulous excursion into a new part of the Kissiverse. And Graham is delicious!!!
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
I liked this story, though I fear it will be forgettable. Graham's family owns a hotel chain. He's "home" in Las Vegas for some corporate meetings. When he arrives, he finds his ex-wife from about 10 years ago trying to check in for her sister's wedding, but the hotel is booked. Graham offers Jenny his room and he'll bunk with one of his brothers. But he's shocked she's there. They were only married for a short time in their late teens and she took off and he never knew why. But it's clear the chemistry is still there. They agree to one night, but that becomes a demand for more. Jenny is scared, plus there's the unresolved issue from a long time ago. If she'd just *talked* to Graham way back when, perhaps they would have just stayed married this whole time, but she just bolted. They clearly need to be together since they can't keep their hands off one another, lol. It was a cute second-chance romance story.
What a great book! I think I am going to love this new series by Tabatha Kiss! I can not wait to get Hayden's story! And Ira's, and Jo's!!!!
This book is a second chance romance, and is just such a sweet, light hearted story. Graham is such a sweet heart! Jen is equally sweet, so I love these two together. Jen swears a lot, which I totally love!
This story is such a great read, it is also really well written. I really wanted to slap some sense into Hayden, but I am sure his leading lady is going to do that for me in the next book. I love how Graham and Jen had so much love still for each other even after all these years apart. That right there is true love. They are soulmates till the end. I look forward to read more from this series.
This was an okay, easy read from Tabitha Kiss. As a second chance romance it was pretty easy going. The whole book takes place in a hotel owned by the hero's family, so the romance takes place over a weekend and there isn't much going on outside of that. The hero, Graham, is decent and likable enough. He's gone over the heroine even after not seeing her for ten years since the divorce. The heroine, Jenny, was less enjoyable to me and I felt at times she was really annoying.
There wasn't anything glaringly wrong with this book, it just didn't have any real meat to it and at times I was bored.
This second chance romance kept me up all night just because I had to finish it without stopping. Those two,Graham and Jen were married ten years ago but after some misunderstanding and trust issues were separated. Now after some time they are reunited and have a second chance to find their HEA even that path is not that smooth and easy. I just loved everything about this book, the storyline, dialogues, the main and secondary characters that made this one great read that promises more books connected to this one where we will read about the other brothers. Just great!
I love anything Tabatha writes and this book is no exception. She had me a second-chance, but this story is so much more than that!! I loved everything about this book. The storyline and the characters were perfect. This book deserves more than 5 stars!! I highly recommend it!
It was a cute, funny fast read! I hate the misunderstanding between the main couple, maybe if they talked about it it would have been better. But I’m glad that they found back their way to each other. They are so cute together and so fun!
First read from this author. She did a really great job at writing this book it kept me engaged from page to page, chapter to chapter. Both characters still had chemistry after ten years. Even though there was a misunderstanding which caused Jennifer to run and be gone for ten years.
A light second chance romance. They were too young when they got married, and after one mistake, an annulment soon followed. Now, ten years later, they run into each other in the Vegas hotel where they met and fell in love. He's hoping the magic they once had together was still there, and she is hopeless to fight it.
This isn't too heavy of a read. Nothing overly emotional one way or the other. There is some humor, some sass, some steam. His character is a little more confident and strong, where as she is a little weary and unsure of things. He has to work hard if he wants a second chance. Both are good characters, and neither was a jerk towards the other. This side characters bring the comic relief. There is the peppy sister, the over protective father, and the ridiculously outrageous brothers.
The one negative I have, is that I would have liked to get a little more insight into the earlier days of their relationship. There was some talk here and there, but nothing that really showed how 'In Love' they were back then when they got married, all those years ago. We basically go into it just being told they were young and crazy. We don't get to see that connection for ourselves.
It's easy to read, and written well (other than what I talked about above.) There is some sexual content that would make this suitable for the 18+ crowd. It alternates between POVs.
copy received for honest review Another fun and sexy story from this author. Graham and Jen were briefly married 10 years ago. They were probably too young and immature to get married. However, they were in love. A misunderstanding and distrust separated them. when they meet again, things look different. Graham is all in but Jen is a little slower to the call. They have some sexy fun and another near miss with their relationship. all is not smooth on the path toHEA. I loved the story and the other characters. The fun dialogue, the dirty talking Jen/Graham and the brothers make the story worth the read. This will be a fun series with this diverse group of brothers.
Graham and Jenny are finding that what happened in Vegas years ago will never just stay in the City of Sin. When Jen fell for the hotel magnet billionaire all those years ago she never thought it would end in a quickly wedding followed by a huge fight and an unforgivable transgression. She left him and Vegas heartbroken and served him with annulment papers and has tried to move on with her life. When her little sis’ wedding brings her back to the scene of the crime and crashing back into the arms of the man she has tried to avoid since they added ex to their monikers. Graham never thought for a moment that coming back to Vegas for a stockholders meeting would bring a his face to face with a blast from his past. Jenny is the one that definitely got away and if he had to guess the exact reason why they split he couldn’t name it. In the hotel they fell in lust and then love they embark on a hotter than hot journey to what should be closure but what may actually be more like the start of something that should have always been.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book
I was surprised that this book had so much impact on me. Firstly, it wasn't so satisfying, but from the middle, I basically fell in love. This is a cute and hot second chance romance book. So, if you like smth like that, you actually should try it on. What about minuses. Well, they were there, of course. But we can turn a blind eye to them because it wasn't so bad. I really enjoyed how the main character behaves with our heroine. He was so protective and soft with her. The plot of the book moved very quickly. There weren't almost any scenes that would be boring for reading. And that's also the big plus. Also, as a pros of these book for me personally, it is dual pov. I'm one of the biggest fans of this, so I was really enjoying reading it.
So she broke up her 3 day marriage and her relationship with her best friend because she saw someone that looked like her husband sleeping with her best friend in the honeymoon suite. Of a hotel owner by her husband's family. While she knew her husband's brothers were still around. Her husband's brothers that could look a lot like him.
And she didn't even confront them/talk to them/let them know why she was mad. Just thought she saw a thing and walked about and didn't talk to anyone for ten years? I mean, I know romance novels rely on characters not talking to each other, but for goodness sake, this is too much.

arc review For honest review. Graham works is family business in While all his brothers and him are at one of the hotels for a share holders meeting he sees his ex wife Jenn there for her sisters wedding ,but their truths come out futures are made. So very cute.
Wow! What a wonderful 2nd chance love story about Jennifer and Graham. They meet working at his families hotel in Las Vegas and have a whirlwind relationship and rush into marriage all at 19 years old. Just 23 days after the wedding Jennifer walks away and gets it annulled. Ten years later Jen is back in Vegas to help celebrate her younger sister’s wedding at the same hotel. Jen thinks she is ready to face the memories of her time there but finds herself being pushed when no other than Graham is there and giving her his room! The Botsford brothers are some of the most sexy hot men and it’s fun to see how they interact between one another. Graham is the oldest and Jen was his 1st and only love and once somethings from 10 years ago are said to him by Jen does he do the one thing he should have done back then, fight for her. Jen can not believe what happens over the weekend but is pleasantly surprised by how Graham takes it all. They have one very emotional and intense connection that the pages will catch on fire. All the characters come alive and the story is one you will remember. Can these two figure out what to do after being together one night? Will Jen’s father keep her from finding happiness? I hope to see a story about each of the other brothers... I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Who doesn’t love a second chance romance with a cast of wonderful characters, filled with humor that has a sigh-worthy ending? Throw in one BIG misunderstanding that leads to an annulment, add in ten years of stewing with bruised hearts and a chance meeting in Las Vegas, and you get a dazzling perfection that is Just A Touch.
Graham Botsford and Jenny Parker had married 10 years ago at the young age of nineteen. Something happened during their honeymoon at Botsford Hotel that forced Jenny to annul the marriage. Ten years later at the same hotel while attending her sister’s wedding, Jenny discovers Graham is at the same hotel. It’s time she confronts Graham over what happened to them and learns she made the biggest mistake of her life. It doesn’t change the fact she still loves Graham, and she owes him a huge apology.
Graham never stopped loving Jenny. She’s all he ever wanted. When he learns the truth, he’s astounded. Graham wants her back at any cost, but Jenny is skittish about their future. Graham’s brothers, Hayden, Ira, and Joshua are hilarious. They really added so much to the story. Just A Touch is such an enjoyable, funny romantic read, one that I highly recommend. Can’t wait for more of the Botsford men. I received and voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
4.75 stars This is a second chance love story that will have you falling for Graham and Jen from the beginning. Graham and Jen have known each other for what seems like forever. They began working together at the Botsford Hotel during their high school years. They were young, in love, and decided to get married...it is Vegas after all. However, theirs was not a marriage that would last and they went their separate ways but neither one could truly let go. Fast forward a few years and Graham is back for a stockholders’ meeting at his family’s hotel and runs into his ex. Neither one has forgotten the chemistry between them and being apart all of these years just brings it back with a vengeance. Graham wants Jen back but is she willing to take another chance? This is one emotional storyline that pulls the reader in. There is laughter and steamy scenes that will have you wanting more. You just cannot help but root for these two, especially when a truth is revealed that could have changed the course of events way back when. I cannot wait to read more about the brothers Botsford and maybe a book devoted to the feud between Graham and Jen’s fathers. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book and all opinions are my own.
OMG! I loved this book, I’m a sucker for second chance love. You can’t help but love Graham, he’s every woman’s dream, he’s hot, sexy, and deliciously dangerous. When a meeting takes Graham home to Vegas the last person he ever thought he’d run into was Jennifer. She was his past, his first and only love. They were young and stupid and got married and one misunderstanding ended what he thought would be forever. Now he sees this as his chance to win her back. The feelings are still there, he still makes her weak in the knees and he makes her tingle all over without even touching her. Jennifer has been dealing with the hurt feelings from what she saw ten years ago, well what she thought she saw only to find out things weren’t what they seemed. Now she’s trying to compartmentalize her feelings and not wanting to trust anything. Will Graham succeed in winning Jennifer or will she be too scared to trust him and what they could have? This was such an amazing book, I have to say this is one of my favorites by Tabatha. This is a definite must read and I highly recommend it.
Ah young love.... sometimes it's fleeting and other times it's profound and so deep that the heart simply cannot let go. Graham and Jenny first worked together at his father's hotel as young teenagers , fell in love, and married quickly. Not wanting to give a lot of details away, Jenny sees a man who from the back LOOKS to be her husband enter their honeymoon suite with another woman. Feeling hurt and betrayed, Jenny filed for a divorce . Graham, floored by her sudden change of heart, does the only thing he can... he lets her go. Fast forward 10 years, Jenny is once again at the Botsford hotel for a wedding, this time for her sister Clara. Jenny and Graham are thrown together and Graham wants answers as to why their marriage ended. Truths are finally revealed , and while the heart can forgive, can it truly forget and begin anew? Once again, Tabatha has delivered a home run... never fails to captivate, tear at the heartstrings, and make you believe that anything is possible and LOVE DOES ENDURE!
I love second chance romances, and this is a wonderful one. First, it is set in Las Vegas. When we meet Graham, we see a very hard working billionaire heir to a large high end Hotel Chain. He seems to be a worker, instead of a player. He has come to Vegas for a big stockbrokers meeting. Then, we meet Jen, who is back home in Vegas for her sister's wedding. Even though we have just met them, we soon find out that they already know each other, because they married in Vegas ten years ago, when they were barely out of high school, but it only lasted 23 days. Now they are back in the same hotel, same city, at the same time. The chemistry between them immediately flames up. If that does not perk up your interest, then let me tell you how good this book is. Tabatha Kiss has again written another well written story that is funny and very sexy. It is so good, I could not put it down, once I started reading it; therefore, I highly recommend it. I am very much looking forward to more books in this series, featuring Graham's three brothers.
Just A Touch was a second chance romance book and it was great. I always liked Tabatha’s books. They are romantic, sweet, and make you feel all those good feelings inside, and this book was no different. Graham and Jennifer were two young kids who got married ten years ago but it did not last but a few days. And here in Vegas they are both in town, staying at his family hotel, and checking in at the same time. Talk about ackward. Jen can’t get away fast enough and Graham is tongue tied apparently, when he hears there’s a wedding going on that weekend at his hotel. WHAT? You can imagine what’s going through his mind. There’s still so many unanswered questions as to what happened between Jen and him all those years ago that have him confused and he needs answers. And Jennifer is the only one who can give them to him, so he has to find a way to make her talk to him. It’s funny, sexy, and such a good story. I enjoyed reading this book very much
I just loved Graham and Jen’s story. These two had history and right off the bat you wondered what that history was. Why they got married and why they got divorced. It was also like fate was bringing them together again.
I loved Jen’s spark and spunk. She was defiantly a fire ball. I love how Graham and Jen still carried feelings for one another.
Jen was back in Vegas for her sister’s wedding. She had hoped she would not run into Graham. Now right off the bat I could see there was more to the story on this Scarlet character. Jen had to much anger and hatred toward her. It made you wonder what it was about.
I love the closeness we find in the Botsford boys. I am so looking forward to reading Hayden, Jonah, and Ira story.
There is plenty of steamy parts in this book and glad I got a chance to read the book.
Graham and Jen were married as teenagers but somethings occurred and they haven’t seen each other for 10 years. Jen is back at Bratsford Hotel for her little sister’s wedding when she encounters Graham and emotions arise. When Graham sees Jen again he can’t resist thinking about her and their past.
I loved Graham, he never gave up on Jen and he was so swoon-worthy. Jen did get on my nerves at times and was somewhat immature. I would have loved to have seen their relationship when they were younger or the fight that led to the big misunderstanding. I guess I wanted to know more about their history and more about Jen's friendship with Scarlett. I didn't really feel the connection as best friends between Scarlett and Jen, how do they go from besties to complete hatred without anyone acknowledging the change.
I really liked this book but would have liked more of Jennifer and Graham's history. In my opinion I think this book should have started with a prologue. I think the prologue should be the fight Jennifer and Graham had. That is just my opinion. I liked Graham he is smart, successful and just never gives up. Jennifer tends to be a little immature in my opinion. She really got on my nerves. In my opinion this story was a little predictable, yet with it being second chance romance, I was okay with it. I loved how in both cases how supportive the siblings were. I got the family loyalty on Graham's side. Jennifer's father was a little prickly yet I got how much he loved his daughters. In my opinion Tabatha Kiss did a good job of conveying the family love on both sides. I received an ARC edition for my honest and voluntary review.
... so this one felt like it was just an excuse for spice.
There really was no character to Graham or Jenny (except for the fact that she dropped f-bombs all day for no reason), their relationship was highly unrealistic and rushed - both their past and their present relationship - and let's not forget that Jenny was extremely drunk when (1) the issue with their past relationship came up, (2) they finally talked about it, and (3) they were intimate for the first time after realizing what happened ten years ago. Kiss seemed to forget about it but no: Jenny was really drunk and she admitted it in her pov but then when things come out we switch to Graham who goes up to her room and suddenly she's not and it's like ???? can we wait for her to sober up please?
thank you to the author for letting me read this as part of the A Very Merry Kissmas arc
