The Fire Wind

Rate this book
A quite spectacular book set in Santa Barbara CA during a very dry winter. Forest and wild fires break out and threatens the town. Police officer Ortega discovers quite a lot of criminals which start these fires.
There are a lot of macho in the book, but still it is a most interesting read, where You really learn something about wild fires, which are so little known in Denmark. Very recommended.

3STARS! -it wasn't a "global destruction" story (like I thought it would be...for some reason) but it was pretty entertaining. I especially like the villain's perspective. I think it would make a decent action / thriller movie... maybe with Ryan Reynolds it could get some decent sized audiences...
