Jessa Long is a free-lance journalist; she does a lot of her writing for Environmental Monthly. She's at an environmental conference in New York. While sitting in the quiet bar area working on an assignment, a gorgeous hunk of a man approaches her. He says his name is Xander; they have drinks together and are having a great time. His voice, looks, and touch drives her crazy with desire. The evening continues when he walks her to her room and their connection escalates to hot and steamy sex. The next morning he's gone leaving no note or saying goodbye.
Eight weeks later, Jessa finds herself experiencing morning sickness; yes, she is pregnant and has no way to contact the father.
Argus, her boss at Environmental Monthly offers her an assignment in Wyoming to write about the Hollister Brothers who are implementing sustainable cutting edge methods to make their ranch more environmentally friendly. Jessa accepts the assignment and travels to Wyoming. She arrives in the evening and is greeted by Trey Hollister. As he speaks with her, she senses something vaguely familiar about him but can't get a good look at him until the enter the home. When she sees the cowboy clearly, she faints. When she comes to, he gets an earful about lying to her and he's clueless. Two of his brothers, Clay and Joshua, are behind him. When Clay sees Jessa he regrets that night that he did not give her his real name. When Jessa realizes that Xander is really Clay, she has nothing good to say to him.
As Jessa begins her interviews for the article, she finds herself attracted to the triplets. Then a fourth brother comes home, Tyler, who is the youngest and she's attracted to him as well. All four of the brothers are quite attracted to Jessa in ways they haven't been to other females.
This book is more than just hot and steamy sex as there is drama, humor and emotional rollercoasters through out. A definite must read by Jess Bentley.
