Another fun read if you've been to Mackinac countless times or if you're planning your first trip. I would say that it would benefit from a good editor since there are quite a few simple spelling/grammar errors. Also, the historian in me would like footnotes with citations from sources - I've read the majority of the book sources listed in the back and most of those don't refer to the deaths and other stories told here. All the same, these make for good campfire stories - I've yet to experience anything ghostly on the Island, but that doesn't make me love it any less!
Again, I am an employee and friend of the author, so I am biased. I love both the Haunts of Mackinac books so much. The time and research put into compiling these histories has made them one of a kind. Thanks Todd!
