When a Santini falls in love it is fast, hard and forever, and for Fernando Santini it is no different. Nando just needs some help dealing with some of the effects of the PTSD he is suffering from his last military assignment. His cousin-in-law, Alana, recommends her friend, Sunshine Foster. She’s a certified massage therapist and Reiki master and a bit of a free spirit. Nando’s career for now is the military, and he’s not looking for a “fix up” from his family. Alana assures him he doesn’t need to be concerned about that because Sunshine has 2 hard and fast rules: she never dates clients, and she absolutely never dates military. When they meet though the chemistry is instant, and they soon discover what we all know; when it comes to love rules are made to be broken.
This is a wonderful love story. Even though Sunshine is a “free spirit” and Nando is “career military”, they are perfect for each other. There is the right mix of humor, some angst, a dash or two of drama, just enough steamy passion, with a few meddling loved ones thrown in, and lots of love to make this the ideal recipe for romance. I fell in love with Sunshine and Nando as a couple, and I know you will, too. This is another perfect Santini love forever after with a few bumps and a twist or two to keep you engaged from beginning to end. You will find it a hard one to put down, but well worth your time!

This is such a great book! I fell in love with Nando and Sunshine. There's so much going on in this story but you don't feel overwhelmed. It's easy to follow and grasp. Melissa brings in real world issues and brings light to some of the more serious issues and I really liked that. There were a few times I literally LOLed😂. Very well written and I'm not surprised, I've yet to find anything written by Melissa that wasn't.

I enjoyed revisiting the Santini's. Nando and Sunshine were good together from their very first encounter. The way they were written, they connected with such ease, you could forget they had known each other such a short period of time. That is, until the Santini Curse was mentioned.
I appreciated that there was very little angst in this book. This book provided enough steamy scenes to keep most romance readers happy.
I also like the way Nando supported Sunshine when things got a little complicated. I admired Sunshine's outlook on life, and the way she handled her newfound situation. I love a strong female character.
Melissa Schroeder writes very enjoyable military romances. A fast paced, sexy romance with a few twists. I definitely recommend this book.

I think Nando just became my favorite Santini! He is so sweet and vulnerable, but protective and Sexy as well. Sunshine should have known she would be a goner for a man like that! I know I was! The Santini's and Melissa Schroeder are awesome!

Keeping up with the Santini's is a full time job. This was a reunion of sorts with one returning from service, new babies and visiting the local Santini's. Nando is a familiar guy but Sunshine is new to us. She comes with some baggage and a prejudice about dating military men. Good thing Nando is smooth and has the Santini curse working for him. We might even get another series from Sunshine's family. Schroeder makes it seem effortless to get two people together. Always a pleasure to read, received an early copy and wrote my unbiased review voluntarily.

Loving A Santini is the 11th installment of Melissa Schroeder's Santini's series. This book follows Nando & Sunshine story. Nando is dealing with PTSD and sleeping issues that stem from his past deployment and questioning where the military fits in his current plan. Sunshine is a "free-spirt" massage therapist who works with military people dealing with PTSD. The mutual attraction is instant but Sunshine has a no dating military rule. Sunshine has some unresolved "issues" with military life in general. Military life is hard on families and I think Melissa S. did an excellent job of dealing with the issue that those left at home deal with. The Santini Curse has struck and Nando will not take NO for an answer. Nando is determined to prove to Sunshine that they are destined to be together. The book was fast paced and well written love story. I highly recommend this book and series.

I fell in love with the Santinis in book one Leonardo. This series has grown from strength to strength. Melissa know her stuff when it comes to military romance and it makes me desperately want my own Santini. Nando or Runt (to his siblings) was just an adorable main male lead. Although suffering some PTSD, Melissa didn’t dwell on it but was more proactive in treating the condition. Sunshine the female lead had a bit of angst that came to light and Nando was there to be her rock. I love being in Hawaii with the gang. Beautiful story from a great writer.

I really enjoyed this latest installment in the Santini series. Fernando Santini while enjoying the change of pace his latest assignment provides, is still dealing with elements of PTSD that resulted after his previous assignment. When Alana suggests the services of her friend, he never expects to be struck by the Santini curse. Sunshine Foster massage therapist and Reiki practitioner is attracted to her latest client, but determined to keep him at a distance. She doesn't date military men, it's a rigid rule in an otherwise bohemian lifestyle. With a story of visceral attraction, sweetness, and romance the author creates an entertaining story, that I read in one sitting.

I loved everything about this story. It was beautifully written and sucked me in from the very beginning. The details in this story was phenomenal. The way this story was written, it made me feel so many emotions. I felt the love between the characters and it takes a great author to make you feel these kinds of emotions in one story, Melissa Schroeder did that for me and more. Add Loving a Santini to your ever growing to read list right now!!
I sincerely hope you all will check out this amazing series and this amazing story too. I honestly can’t wait for the next book. I’m hoping we get to see these characters all again in the future.

Loving a Santini
Another fantastic read from Melissa Schroeder. I knew I would love this book as I have loved every Santini book so far. This one did not disappoint. All the Santini men are totally alpha with a sweet sexy side. They would do anything for the women they love. Nando was no different. Her cell hard for Sunshine. Sunshine broke two of her rules for Nando. Never date a military man or a client. But their chemistry was so hot. I loved everything about this book and hope that the Santini curse will strike again very soon!

The Santinis are one of my favorite series all time, not only because the writing is great, but because these men are what I wish more men were like. The Santinis are loyal and all around sexy. Nando is no exception and I have been waiting for his book for a while now. Being the youngest Santini I couldn't wait for him to fall and fall hard. I won't give too much away, but he has some PTSD from his service and is willing to try anything to help him sleep. In comes in Sunshine, as vibrant as her name is, she knocks Nando off his stand as the last Santini standing. I love that Sunshine doesn't simply give it up to Nando but makes him work for it is just special. Her link with the military and how close to his job her history is makes the story even more interesting.
I just want to point out that I love the way Melissa writes so openly and accepting of PTSD. This is not the first book that mentions the struggle of the military in the series. Many authors write about PTSD as a setback and rather negatively, but Melissa gives it depth and shows the many faces of PTSD. I absolutely love that she does this.

Loving a Santini is such a sweet story. I instantly fell in love with Nando and Sunshine. I liked how Melissa brought to light issues about PTSD and how it affects people different ways.
Nando returns home after his last assignment feeling the effects of his PTSD. He was introduced to Sunshine through Alana (his cousin’s wife) to try something new to help with his PSTD. Sunshine is a certified massage therapist and Reiki master. I loved how open and honest he was about his PTSD, what he has done in the past to treat it, and how he is willing to try new things.

Who doesn't love a Santini!?!
I absolutely adore this family! The love, strength, togetherness, sibling/cousin fighting (boys never grow up), but most of all Love! This family is all American proud military men and women who fall fate to the Santini curse! (When you find the one it's over, head over heels bona fide off the market true love!) The Santini's are a HUGE family! I've loved reading about their lives and falling in love, but mostly how each and every one are brought up with manners, respect, the knowledge of right vs wrong, loyalty and the true knowledge that family is the most important thing a person can have! Start with book 1 brothers, sisters, cousins and their spouses cross over into each others stories. So to get to know this amazingly large military family start at the beginning! Did I forget to mention they are all sexy as sin!

Loving a Santini is the next installment of one of my favorite series. This was Nando & Sunshine’s story. I loved that he was open and honest about hid PTSD and what he has done to treat it and how he is willing to try something new. This is how he and Sunshine meet. She has a few rules when it comes to dating clients & military men. Even though Nando happens to be both he pushes past her defense and convinces her to give in to their chemistry. He also proves to her that he can be the man she needs to stand with her when things get tough. I love the glimpses we get to see of some of the previous couples as well. This is a must read although all of Melissa’s books are for me.

It's always fun to read books in this series, the Santini's are a motley crew, but filled with love. Nando comes off as quiet, odd in this family. I loved how both Nando and Sunshine were adamant about not being fixed up, that was just asking fate to laugh at them. While very gun shy about dating military men it was fun to see Nando slowly work his way under Sunshine's walls. The two of them were cute together. I loved how Nadno was there to support Sunshine when her past came barging in, she needed someone to be there for her. The ending to this one was great, totally something that happens in this clan.

Loving a Santini by author Melissa Schroeder was a sexy and sweet love story that I could not put down and loved every minute of reading it. I enjoyed how Nando and Sunshine were introduced to each other as she tries to help him with his PTSD. There is an immediate attraction between them but Sunshine has a problem with dating a military man due to her daddy issues. I’m glad that Nando was able to break through her walls and wow, the sex scenes were hot. I loved seeing some of the other Santinis again from the previous books and hope to read more about one of my favorite family.

Hawaii seems to be very lucky for the Santini’s. Nando is the youngest of six and we’ve watched as his sister, brothers and cousins have found their soulmates. Now it’s his turn and this Marine has found his forever in Sunshine. She makes his days bright and his nights hot. I really love this series and was thrilled to see Nando find his happiness.

Nando is stationed in Hawaii now. He is having trouble sleeping so Alana suggests he see Sunshine. Sunshine does massage therapy and Reiki therapy. She agrees to meet up with Nando to see if she can help.

Loving a Santini was an enjoyable, sweet read. That drew me in from the start and held my interest throughout. Thanks to likeable characters, a great setting, a few hot moments, and an easy angst free storyline. And I would happily recommend it to others.

Nando and Sunshine drew my attention from the start and kept me turning the pages! Emotional, fun characters, witty banter and real people! I could really relate to Sunshine and love the alternative healing. I would absolutely recommend this book and the entire series!!!

The Runt has fallen
We finally got to read how “the runt” of the Tony & Marcella branch of the Santini clan fell to The Curse. What was especially wonderful about this read was how again the author treated TSD with the respect and attention it deserves.
