Timescream #2 was as clever, witty, charming, and hilarious as #1. Elvira breaks the fourth wall to give readers a recap from the previous issue, then asks Edgar Allan Poe to take her to his favorite watering hole. They share some absinthe, then Dracula shows up and demands the witch (Elvira) help him get back to his own time. But she's trying to do the same thing, and doesn't have an answer. Poe comes up with a plan to help them get away, but when it backfires Elvira takes a flaming whip to Vlad to save the day.

The art is so stunning. I hope this is more than a 4-part comic series because I love the literary theme of the storyline (next up: Bram Stoker) and this comic is so much fun!

Elvira and the ultimate stoner of horror, Edgar Allen Poe. You can't get much more of an iconic duo than that.

I loved the bit "Bosoms - I mean Burbon! Burbon!" by the bartender. I have to admit, Elvira often prompts me to make the same mistake. Heh.

Again, another keeper, and I can only hope issue #3 comes out early!

The second story in funny rip-roaring time-traveling adventures of Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Another issue that is out of the park, Elvira is supremely funny, and her introductory recap was just too funny and the next issue should be wonderful too, sadly I only got the first 3 issues when I got the bundle but I will sure try to get the entire series, it's just so funny, and journey with the literary heroes is not bad as well.

I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to the bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

Two people whom you would never think to meet up with one another, meet one another. Elvira and Poe. The result? Pure horror comedy. Great use of colors within the artwork. The puns keep flying left, right and center. Oh, and my heart goes out to the gentleman who was beaten over the head with an umbrella by his wife at the cemetery gates....he was only looking, for Pete's sake. (lol)

Elvira: Time screen, Chapter two: Nevermore. aka Elvira meets Edgar Allan Poe. But she isn't alone she is being followed by Vlad the Impaler. Chaos ensues before she takes her leave of the past but not before giving Poe one hell of a story to write.

Edgar Allan Freaking Poe!

So, do you usually hang out in cemeteries at night? I have been known to haunt the precinct of the dead, to stir my imagination towards the thrilling and the outre.

Hilarious!

Elvira delivers the one-liners just like Cassandra Peterson. Thanks to the masterful wordsmithing of writer David Avallone and the razor sharp likenesses of artist Dave Acosta. The action is fast and fun!
