Country singer Ethan has just broken up with his fiancé Shannon a super model who cheated on him with his bodyguard. It’s been a very public breakup with the tabloids portraying him as the bad guy. He has a contract to perform at a fashion gala where Shannon will be modelling. She is a drama queen and is making his life very difficult. Darek and Lizzy don’t seem to be getting any closer to the killer. Their superior threatens them off of the case if they can’t stay focused and not let their relationship get in the way. Mia has big ideas for the fashion industry and needs Bay’s support. Raven hasn’t given up on getting custody of Noah she just has to prove herself worthy. This web of deceit is becoming very intricate and fragile.
Detective Darek Blake is confronted with a harrowing case when a young girl is murdered in a manner that dredges up memories from his past. To make matters more complicated, his partner, Special Agent Lizzy McNamara, discovers evidence that hits too close to home, shaking Darek to his core. As he navigates this challenging investigation, he must confront the worst sin he's ever committed, which threatens to unravel his future. The case raises questions about whether the Zodiac killings are a mere coincidence or if someone is intentionally targeting Darek, leaving him to grapple with the unsettling possibility of a dangerous adversary.
It is really coming down to the wire with these guys. I did not think there was a whole lot going on in this book. We did not get to see too much forward motion on the serial killer department until the very end but I did like how the characters intertwined. Especially concerning Raven and how caught up she is in this. Her involvement in the unfolding events adds depth and intrigue to the story, offering readers a compelling reason to stay engaged despite the slower pacing.
Always so great, and always in the blur, The blur or almost, the suspects dying one after another, the list is shortened. Attention, book spoiler 9 ... . I loved this episode, still well written and I hope that some characters will not die, but it seems to me compromised. This episode is very hot sexually for all the characters. Lizzy plays a game that lacks clarity with Darek moving away without really doing it for supposedly protecting their career; Max starts to drink to hide something and his reactions or places where he is, become suspicious; Darek is disturbed by the return of Raven who wants to adopt the son of her cousin following her assassination in place of Raven. (Here, we're near the telenovellas). Bay sent Raven to Ethan the country singer who also belonged to Zodiac and who has just dropped his fiancee because she was cheating on him. When he meets Raven, he decides to help her to keep her nephew ......... It's without takink account on the world of showbiz and the medias who are chasing Ethan ; his ex who is trying to get closer again, or Nate, his manager who does not really manage what's going on. So, many new events, and the flaws of each other appear more and more, especially Bay who after having managed to let Brandy kill Carter, kills Brandy and recovers the legacy of Corey and Justin ....(it becomes more and more complicated with each additional death). Really great part in the series, but although there are fewer suspects and potential victims, nothing has ever seemed so intertwined ...... and that's why it's an excellent thriller : there' re some progress, some false clues, endearing or hateful characters. (I really hope that some characters won't die....) I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Holy WOW!!!! The rollercoaster takes another turn around the track in book ten of the Zodiac Killers series. Virgo is the next sign in killers crosshair, which happens to be country star Ethan Kline. Ethan is headed to New York to fulfill a contract he wants nothing to do with, singing asset a fashion charity gala where his ex is modeling. He contacts Bay to set him and his manager and best friend up with "dates" at Taunt. With Raven back in town with her cousins murder, Bay sets her up with Ethan just to mess with Derack. Ethan and Raven connect on a level that has nothing to do with sex but with a killer on the loose, Raven trying to get custody of her cousins son and Ethan's crazy ex, will they be able to make it more than a friendship. Darek and Bay have uncovered something from Justin's photos of his online girlfriend, which only brings more questions than answers. Will Ethan make it through the killers attack??? I am sooooo addicted to this series I hate to see the end coming but I'm so stoked for the next book and I've already ordered it. The amazing duo of Ali Parker and Lexy Timms will rock your world with this series and you'll love every word!!! The Zodiacs are dropping like flies but will Darek, Lizzy and Bay figure out who the killer is before he strikes again??? A must read that will get your heart pumping.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book Thank you Ali and Lexy
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the tenth book in the Zodiac Killers series. In this edition, Ethan is featured. Ethan is the Virgo of the Zodiacs and a country star. Ethan thinks he isn't in danger of the killer, even if he was warned by the remaining Zodiacs. Ethan and his manager Nathan go to New York for Ethan to perform at a charity fashion event where his ex-girlfriend is a model. When Ethan contacts Bay to arrange an escort for him and Nathan for the weekend, Bay hires Raven. Darek had asked Bay to give Raven a job at his restaurant and a place to stay to help in her getting custody of her nephew. Izzy and Darek are threatened by their boss to be taken off the case if they can't solve it soon, and they decide to pretend they broke up to please their boss. Bay offers to help Mia create a line of shoes and handbags and break into the fashion world. The killer continues to taunt Bay and Darek. This is getting even more suspenseful the closer the killer gets. The dangers are increasing to the remaining Zodiacs and everyone they care about. Every book keeps me guessing as to who the killer is and the more that is revealed, the more questions i have. I love this series and can't wait for more.
The saga continues, this time with country music singer Ethan making an appearance. Ethan is one of the Zodiacs and he didn't show up for the meeting in New Orleans and is kind of out of the loop with the whole murder thing. When he must come to New York for a guest appearance at a fashion show he brings his own trouble with him. His former girlfriend, Shannon, is one of the models for the fashion show and he so doesn't want to have anything to do with her. Unfortunately, she keeps popping up like a bad zit. He asks his friend Bay to set him and his manager up with some willing women while they are in town. Little does he imagine what can of worms that will open. On top of that, his sign is the next one up on the playlist.
We don't really get any closer to figuring out who the killer (or puppet master) is other than one clue, which I won't mention here so as not to spoil it. We are also left kind of hanging on the latest murder attempt. Only a couple of Zodiacs left, and they are all at the same event so it could be anyone in the crosshairs.
I was given a copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Oh my goodness. This is the tenth book in the Zodiak Killer Series by Lexy Timms and Ali Parker under the name WL Knightly. Their writing together is superb and they have created such a magnificent spell binding series here that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This follows on directly from the end of Leo and Lizzy and Darek are still puzzling as to who is the murderer. Ethan is the Virgo member of the group and he is very successful and also with the ladies. But he is trying to distance himself as he knows that he is next. I'm still not sure who the killer is and I've read each book and loved every one of them. I don't usually read [or even watch serials on the tv either] but this is just so well written with fantastic characters that you feel as if you know them and I have to continue to read the whole series as I HAVE TO KNOW who it is!. Certainly Lizzy and Darek are interesting characters and a major part of the series and I'm sincerely hoping that they 'get their man'! I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Definitely recommended - get your copy now and enjoy!!
Wow! They’ve gone & done it again. It’s another winner!!! Ali & Lexy have teamed up to give us intriguing stories that are part of a twelve book series. I’ve been hooked on this series since the very first book & I’m so looking forward to reading the remaining few. If you’re looking for an amazing series, then the Zodiac Killers is it. The storyline flows from book to book & Leo is no exception. There are so many twists & turns, ups & downs, it’s like riding a never-ending rollercoaster. The characters are life-like, so much so that you forget this is fiction. Be sure to use your “one-click” purchase button & add the first eight books to your personal library. I highly recommend you read this series in the order it was released in, I guarantee you won’t regret it.
I received an Advance Review Copy (Arc) of this new release & I am voluntarily giving my honest review.
WHIPLASHING INTENSE! Voluntarily review An addicting read that makes you feel like fish out of water gasping shocked needing to breath but lacking the commonsense becoming so transfixed inhaling the words is the only sense of life you need as The storyline sends you pummeling, heartpounding claws deep digesting every twisted suspense filled word keeping you riveted waiting for the ball to drop stunning you! The twisted suspense is overwhelming it consumes you toils with your mind head bobbing to a statement of whiplash as the drama heats up giving you more nibbles of information leaving you gasping wanting more! Intense, twisted, nail-biting suspense, enjoyable, adrenaline fueled, addicting, emotionally gripping, enticing hot chemistry and impossible to put down! A mind boggling amazing must read!
As the net draws tighter around the remaining Zodiacs, we learn a little more about each of them and the important people in their lives. We also learn more about our mysterious villain. But does what we learn actually answer questions or only create more? This book goes by so fast, in a whirl of intrigue and accusations. Will Darek and Bay unmask the killer while there’s still a Zodiac left alive or will all twelve men pay for their childhood indiscretion with their lives? This story opens up avenues of investigation that were hinted at in earlier books and I can’t wait to see where it takes us next. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.
This series is fantastic and this latest instalment doesn’t disappoint, although I was so close to the edge of my seat it’s unreal!
This book focuses on Ethan’s point of view, although we have lots of interaction with Darek, Lizzy etc. Ethan is a Country singer visiting New York for a fashion event, and spending time with Bay and Darek. Raven makes further appearances which makes things tense between Darek and Lizzy.
Bay still has the killer’s number so decides to provoke them, culminating in an terrifying cliffhanger. I can’t wait until the next book, need answers and to know if my suspicions are correct.
My head is still spinning from that clue given at the ending of this part of the Zodiac series . It's a big one . May know who the killer is or maybe not . I'm having a good time guessing though . The number of Zodiacs is dwindling which is exciting because I'm that much closer to finding out ….who done it ? The authors have done a great job keeping me interested with the array of different characters , Twists in storyline and brutal murders while reading the intense serial killer mystery unfolding before my eyes. Love this series.
Oh my! The twists and turns keep coming as the zodiacs are whittled down. We’re getting close to the end and we know a lot more now but still haven’t been able to answer “whodunnit”. There’s double dealing and lying and all kinds of suspense. I’m loving the series and can’t wait for more. You MUST read these in order. I can’t imagine being able to figure out all the nuances if you skip a book. This is a fast read and you won’t be able to put it down. I feel like the tension ratcheted up several notches in this episode. Eagerly awaiting the next one. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
Wow this book centred on Ethan, the Virgo of the Zodiacs. He is fresh out of a breakup with his girlfriend. Her has everything a person could want. There are so many twists and turns to the series that it is difficult to get a handle on who the Zodiacs killer is. There are pieces revealed but still doesn't give us the clue that will reveal all. I can't wait to read the next book to see if bay and Derek will uncover the culprit. I received a ARC from the author. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.
This series is simply to die for. There were so many OH. MY GOD. moments. The pieces are starting to fall into place, and the mystery is almost coming full circle. The Virgo of the group is the sensational Ethan Cline. He’s actually not a bad guy, and we kind of root for him a bit. We see characters from previous books returning, such as the ever enigmatic and sensual Raven. Max is still stirring the pot. Bay Collins is, well, he’s Bay. Darek is trying to keep it all under control, and their past under wraps. Three more books, three more signs... Tick tock.
The twisted mayhem continues! Phew! I do love a twisted an excellent twisted murder mystery! This series has been an intense, heat-fueled kaleidoscope of, emotions, clues, and distractions! The "killer" plot has continued to entice and command my attention throughout! With the end coming near things are really picking up, and with what clues are left behind... ekkk! However, you never know though! I cannot wait for the next book to put my never-ending theories to rest!
The original Zodiacs are dying literally one by one. While Bay and Darek seem to get a little closer to figuring out the killer's identity, he still manages to outwit them at every turn.
My suspicions on who the killer actually is stronger than ever now. I can't wait to see how it's all going to go down. This is masterful story-telling that keeps me on edge.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
This thrilling installment is a wonderful addition to this phenomenal series. The storyline is well-written and well-paced, thrilling, suspenseful, intriguing and will keep you guessing as to WHODUNIT. Compelling and intense, with more great, defined characters, the reader will be unable to set this book aside, turning pages and looking for the answers. There are twists, lies, danger...just Wow! I loved it! I voluntarily read an aRC and this is my honest review.
I'm a little sad about there only being three more books in this series. The fast-paced action and countless surprises makes this one a wild ride from beginning to end. For every answer we get, we get more questions. We aren't any closer to knowing who the killer is, so we continue to be kept on the edge of our seats. As much as I want to find out how the story will end I don't want it to end at all.
Virgo by W. L. Knightly is a thrill ride suspense. Who is going to be left standing? Who is the killer? The last sentence of this book had me saying Nooooo do not leave me hanging! This is Ethan's book and lets us in on his story and how he feels of his past- huge regret. This country cowboy super star had made the big time with fame and fortune. Will fame and fortune save your life... I guess I will have to wait for the next thrilling Zodiac Killers book #11. I can hardly wait!
Actual pages 267 - I’d give it 4.5/5 stars tbh, however with ending on a cliff hanger like that is my prediction shifting?? Could Lizzy & Max be masterminding this together?! COP … mhm I could still be right with my original prediction of it possibly being Lizzy and getting revenge for it being a relation to her dear Robert but the men’s clothes in the background of the photo evidence of Betty could be Max?! I’m not sure but I’ve still got my hunches!!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Wowsers I’m in shock with this instalment of the zodiacs. I’m pretty positive I know who the killer is at the moment but it’s could be a false sense of security and a cunning plot twist. This series is amazing and I can’t wait to get to the end of it but I also don’t want it to end. This one is about Ethan the country music star and doesn’t disappoint. Definitely recommend this book
Another great Zodiacs book instalment and I’m still no closer to figuring out who you s behind it all! Dark and Bay are being taunted by the killer and the Zodiacs a becoming lesser in their number the further through this series. Full of suspense and action, can’t wIt for the next book in this series
Provided with a free ARC for a voluntary honest review. Gee guys, we're running out of characters. The bodies keep piling up and there are only a few left. Bay and Darek are doing their best, but still no killer. At least now we have a couple clues to work with. Even though I'm anxious for a resolution, part of me hates to see this great series end.
A well written suspense thriller that will have you gripping the edge of your seat trying to figure out what will happen next. This is such an amazing series and the books just keep getting better. This is definitely a must read but you need to read them in order. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I can’t believe there are only three books left in this series! As with each book, twist and turns in this one kept me at the edge of my seat. We finally have more clues about who the killer is, and I can’t wait to see how it will all end and if my theory is correct. This series is definitely a must read for all thriller seekers!
Who will be the last man standing? This and many others are the questions I have constantly in my mind while reading this series! These books are great, there are a lot of turning points; strange killings continue happening, the mystery keeps going.. Absolutely to read! The style is perfect, it's like "reading" a movie! 5 stars!
Are we any closer to finding the killer? Maybe... or maybe not! I am having a great time going along for the ride, and I've probably changed my guess about a dozen times now, as the stakes keep getting higher. This continues to be an amazing series full of mystery, intrigue, and questionable intentions!
We are finally getting so close. The clues are building up. The complicated relationship of Darek is getting on my nerves, and there is another face to bay that just showed up. Mai has a brain, after all. There was a little spice but easily skippable. I have my suspicious on someone 2 books ago . Let's see if it's true.
