Charming collection of essays and articles pivoting on nature, hunting and matters human around 1888 in Denmark with connections to North America, France, Sweden, North Africa and the UK based on the extensive travels of the author ( the father of Karen Blixen).

Many points of view regarding responsible hunting and care for nature are as relevant today as back then.
