Despite having virtually nothing in common, heat rises between Meg and Hayden. But while Hayden chases, Meg runs. He has to convince her she’s the woman meant just for him.

4,5 stars!! It was my first book from this author and will not be the last!! I liked a lot her writing style, the plot, MCs... The heroine was pretty awesome one, she was strong, she agreed to enjoy some sexual encounters with our amazing hero, she was one sassy woman! She talked her mind. The hero... Sigh... He was pretty awesome man: not a playboy anymore although he was in his youth, but it's ok with me. He was very interested in our girl almost from beginning. Triggers: there are some scenes with MCs on dates(heroine was his matchmaker, it was a bit creepy for me, she was a third wheel there... I didn't like it). But our amazing man didn't kiss or have sex with anyone else. Only Meg, she was only one for him!
Just for You looks at the optimistic side to life. Harris can break a heart even as she lightens the spirit. Meg is a down on her luck artist. Hayden is a business man. Both have baggage that needs to be addressed in order to add some organization to their lives. What ensues is a hilarious blend of heart, hope and humor. Just for You makes a little crazy into a lot heartwarming.
Hayden and Meg are enemies until Meg needs a job. The story is told from 2 different view points and different time frames through out the book. The book was ok, HEA. A little cheesy and predictable but I would try another book from the author.
Received this book as an ARC for my honest review.
Just for You is book 3 in the “I Want Morrison” series and is a friends-to-lovers romance. It can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading the previous 2 books.
I have been waiting for Hayden’s book for a while now and Kay Harris did not disappoint. In the previous books, he seemed like a playboy, but who also had some hidden depths. He is the rich billionaire who has taken over the family business, but while he appears confident on the outside, he is unsure about his ability to do his job. I love that Hayden has his strengths and faults, which make it easy to relate to him and to love him as the hero in this book.
Meg is an artist who takes a temporary job as Hayden’s secretary. They end up becoming friends, but she takes it upon herself to play matchmaker. It was interesting to see the women she chose for him to go on dates with and why she chose them. Meg is a good fit for Hayden as she is able to see both sides of Hayden - the CEO he presents himself for the company to see and the private, vulnerable Hayden. At times, I really wanted to shake her for how she felt she couldn’t be with Hayden. She made presumptions and hurt both herself and Hayden.
The book is told from a dual POV and I enjoyed being able to get insights from both characters. It was also fun to see some of the other characters from the previous 2 books as well as a cameo of Hank from the Love On Tour series (this series if you like rockstar romances).
Overall, I enjoyed this book. It moved at a good pace keeping me entertained throughout the entire book. There was great character development. Both characters were likable (although, I loved Hayden more than Meg). There is no cliffhanger and they get their HEA.
I received this book as an ARC and I voluntarily leave this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is sweet, steamy, romantic and entertaining. Hayden is smart, strong, kind, funny and sweet, but he's also insecure and vulnerable. Meg is smart, efficient, bold, outgoing and stubborn. Meg hates rich men, including Hayden, but when she needs money, she turns to him for help. After working for him, and hanging out with him, she finds that he's not the person that she thought he was, that he's actually a good guy. Hayden has always been attracted to Meg, but knew that she had a chip on her shoulder about him. When they have a conversation about him needing to settle down, she offers to be his matchmaker, for a price, and they spend even more time together. They end up giving in to their attraction to each other and both develop feelings, but she's not interested in being together as a couple, she thinks that she can't fit in his world. So while she's finding him dates, and he's going on them, they're sleeping together. They are unbelievably adorable and hot together, I loved their story. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Hidden Gems. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
Just for You is the 3rd book in the I Want Morrison series. I’ve read all the books, and while this book does refer to things that happened in the previous books, it could easily be a standalone too.
This book is a great example of romance done right. The story is interesting and the characters are realistic and likable. I’ll fully admit to not being fond of Hayden in the previous books, but now we see him from a different perspective. I think Meg especially grows in this story. There are steamy scenes, but not too graphic.
This book was one of those that was impossible to put down. I kept thinking “just one more chapter” but the chapter would end and I still couldn’t put it down. I lost some sleep over it but it was well worth it.
I received a free ARC copy of this book directly from the author, but my honest review is completely voluntary.
When Meg takes it upon herself to get hired on as Hayden's assistant, she never imagined she'd end up falling for the utterly clueless CEO. As she organizes his business life, she decides to take upon his hopeless relationship situation but falls for him instead. Will she ever open up to Hayden or will she spend forever pushing him away?
I adored Hayden and his sweet, sweet nature. Meg was a lot harder for me to connect to, though. She was so self-absorbed and brusque that I just never found it in myself to like her. She's the sole reason for 3.5 stars. Had she been sweeter, more like Hayden, this would have been a 4 star read for sure. Still, I found Just For You sweet and heartwarming like all the other books by Kay Harris that I've read.
I received an ARC via Hidden Gems Books for an honest review.
Hayden/Bobby is an insecure new CEO. Since I typically love stories involving an alpha male, I thought for sure I would not enjoy this book. However, the author surprised me for sure! Watching the give and take between Hayden/Bobby and Meg/Chuck had me falling in love right along with them. I love this couple! They are sweet, intelligent, fun loving and successful. The story is easy to read and follow. Scenery descriptions were just enough to give you an idea of where they were but left you to fill in the finer details. Sexy scenes were just that - sexy but not overly descriptive. For some reason, I kept thinking this takes place in NYC but its in SF. She does talk a little about the Golden Gate Bridge but would have liked to have had more city information included in the story. Definitely ends in an HEA.
This was such a good book. I had not read the first two, but after reading this one, I have alread downloaded them. Meg was an artist who had lost her studio and most of her things when a bad boyfriend stole everything from her and cleaned out her accounts. She knows Hayden and offers to be his secretary to make some money. She was excellent at her job but after awhile she also offers to play matchmaker for him for a good amount of money. This story follows their relationship as it blooms, almost falls apart, and then get back on track again. It had some very sweet moments and some funny one. I recommend
This time their friends do the “job”!!! Another delightful addition to this series. Meg and Bobby are the last remaining members of the group of friends that are unmarried. When he is in need of replacing an extremely inept assistant, the group decides that Meg will be perfect. She also decides to be his matchmaker to find him the “perfect” partner. There are lots of humorous situations, especially when Meg is doing her matching work. Great characters, story, and writing make this a real “feel good" experience. Waiting for her next book! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This is the third book in the I Want Morrison series. It can be read as a standalone but you will get to know a lot of the characters if you read the other two books. This is Hayden's story and we watch him go from an irresponsible playboy to a responsible CEO of the family business. Lots of drama, suspense and passion. Kay and Hayden will grab your heart as you watch him chasing hers. We get to see both POV's, which is great. Sometimes what we need is right in front of us. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
I was given this ARC by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
When Hayden takes over as CEO of his family's business, he decides it's time to quit his partying ways and settle down with a wife and family. Meg is a friend of the family who needs money and decides to offer up her services as a match maker for Hayden, as well as be his new secretary. When they start getting to know each other, they find they have a lot more in common than they ever expected.
I loved Hayden's character. He was smart and deep and talented. And Meg was so fun. It was a really cute story.
I've enjoyed each book in this series and although it took me a little bit longer to warm up to this one, it quickly won me over as the story progressed. Meg was a little too brusque for my tastes initially, but her vulnerabilities eventually humanized her. Hayden was endearing as the reformed antagonist from the first book and his vulnerable side broke my heart. By the end, I was rooting for this couple and their hea.
YOU CAN’T DECIDE YOUR LIFE OR MAKE SOMEONE ELSE’S TO FIT YOUR BELIEFS
Take an insecure CEO, Hayden, a self-sufficient artist cum executive secretary, Meg, put them together and see what comes out. An exciting story to keep the reader wondering what’s going to happen next. Didn’t put it down until I was done.
I thought this book was fantastic! The interaction between Hayden and Meg was fun yet they helped each other through struggles in their lives. Add in the steamy connection and I could not stop reading. Fan of this one!
An amazing book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Just for you is well written with a good plot. I enjoyed the author’s writing and hope to read more of her books. Fans of romance novels should enjoy this book. I received a complimentary copy and this is my unbiased review.
