Perfect Perry

Rate this book
Professional organizer Perry Dylan thinks living a perfect life means keeping her house spit-shine clean, avoiding sweets, and marrying her longtime boyfriend. But when she meets Zinnia Paradiso, beautiful artist and free spirit, her definition of perfection isn’t so perfect anymore. Rainbow Heights, a quirky mountain town known for its daily rainbows, is home to many delightful residents, many of whom just happen to be searching for love (whether they'll admit it or not). While the best way to get to know these folks is to start with Book Perfect Perry, each book in the Rainbow Heights series is a complete story and can be read as a stand alone in any order.

Perfect Parry (Rainbow Heights #1) [Kindle Unlimited] — Carla Ryan (Preface + 15 chapters) Oct 31, Nov. 1-5, 2019

[Note: pure vanilla sex scenes...was a relief I didn't have to skip those bits like I normally do! THANKS!]

Perfect Parry is living the perfect life. She has everything she wants in a boyfriend and job she loves in organizing people’s homes (ala Marie Kondo,) and great friends (not so much family.) It’s perfect! Until it isn’t. When Parry gos to Zinnia’s home to work her magic, she is confronted by everything her perfect world is trying to hide.

While this book took far longer than I thought it would, it was a decent read. There were some condensed time and space in a section or two, but to keep it at the length it is at, it was well worth it. Editing was very good too. I commend this author for writing such a good book in a short read. Please keep writing and I will keep reading. Looking forward to the other characters you write about in this series. And please…more background on them.

Five stars.

Being courageous has never been so fun.

Well this was just a fun little romp in growing up to live by your own expectations. Perry has let her Mom and everyone else define her. When she meets Zinnia the ordered life becomes unbearable. Carla Ryan has given fun and delicate life to a very important part of growing up. I found a new writer to enjoy and a story that was full of smiles and feels!

Entertaining Read

I enjoyed this story and the characters, especially the two main characters. That so much could be packed nicely into this quick read takes a bit of talent for sure. I'm glad to have found Carla Ryan and will be reading more of her writing. Thank You Carla.

A sweet love story

I think the best love stories , don't have a lot of sex. Some of the worst love stories are the ones with a ton of sex.

Fun and heartwarming

I love Perfect Perry. I enjoy the warmth of the characters and care about them. I’m excited to read Feisty Frida next and get immersed in Rainbow Heights.

Perry's character was a little off putting in the beginning. but she warmed up a bit as we saw her change and accept what she wanted

This book didn't inspired me at all. The characters and the story wasnt for me found them a bit flat.
