The Hancock moves after her father Sebastien needs a new job & gets one with his old friend as did Emma. But it's from that millisecond of meeting these 2 have these intense feelings. Emma who's been kept under lock & key all het life doesn't know why, whilst Christopher just knows he wants her.

Christopher is now 46, had been married to controlling ex-wife for 21yrs before caught her in their bed with another man and then found out she had been cheating on him for most of their marriage. Now divorced for 5 years, both his grown daughters, Lauren at 25 and Ashley at 23 have moved in with after he left and the divorced was settled. They had their own credit card with a limit of $50,000 per month that he paid. The credit limit and the fact their mother was not allowed back into his home or life was the only boundary he had set with the girls. When he suggested the girls needed to be able to set goals and see them through with satisfaction, the oldest laughed and explained her mom had already told them she made sure their dad made tons of money so none of them would ever have to. That's when he realized his girls were spoiled rotten!!
Emma's father has always been over protective. No serious dating unless he met the young man beforehand and ABSOLUTELY no makeup. On Emma's 20th birthday, rather than acknowledging the day, he told his family the company he had been working for went bankrupt, today was everyone's last day, and the warehouse had been repossessed and locked by the bank. What a wonderful May to December love story that will take you through the turmoil of family, insecurity, jealousy, over protectiveness, and love, then bring those very emotions to the forefront so you can identify with each one as they come along with Michelle Love's characters and storyline. A HEA is always a wonderful thing.

Emma💃💋 is a truly naive young woman, no thanks to her controlling dad, but she knows a fine quality man when she finally gets to see one! She is head over heels in love with Christopher🐺🍆🌋!

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Christopher and Emma. Emma is a 20 year old who is extremely innocent, due to the fact that but her parents kept her sheltered her whole life. When her dad loses his job he contacts his best friend from college Christopher see if he can get a job at his company. The day that Emma and her dad go in for their job interview there is an instant spark between Christopher and Emma. Christopher is 46 years old, divorced five years, and has two daughters that are both older than Emma. Emma's been hired to be Christopher's assistant's assistant. the specs between the two of them keep building. Christopher sets up a plan to have Emma's parents go out of town and have Emma go view a resort in Concord for visiting clients from China. He also said stop that he has a room at that hotel as well. Things heat up between the two realizing that they both I have been harboring feelings for the other. They manage to keep their relationship a secret for about 2 months, and so Emma finds out she's pregnant. She totally freaks out and doesn't know what to do. Follow them on their Adventure as they learn how to deal with their loved ones not agreeing with a relationship, her pregnancy, rushed marriage and everything else goes with having family. I definitely recommend reading the story it's very well written, and it's a quick read.

If you can get past the age difference of almost 2.5x, which I struggled with, you will see some stars on this one. It is a good read, quick, and has some steam. I had a difficult time with a 20 year old virgin and a 46 year old billionaire with daughters in their mid twenties. I can't ignore that. However, let's suspend disbelief and go for the story. Emma was a shy, overly sheltered girl who had just turned 20. Her father loses his job, through no fault of his own. He gets in touch with an old friend, moves the family, and sparks fly. From the description of Christopher, I could imagine her instant attraction...especially with how under a rock her dad had kept her. However, other than the innocence, I'm startled at his obsession. Keeping their relationship a secret was understandable in this situation, but that kinda alerted me to that maybe it was a bit more than should be. A love nest and calling her "baby" almost instantly, ummmm, no. Her nickname for him was obviously on target, but immature. An over the top immature reaction to a party of a conversation she overheard really bothered me. When I could try to ignore the age gap of the Grand Canyon, the sweetness Christopher displayed toward Emma was adorable. When I couldn't, it was creepy, to be honest. Overall, I enjoyed the story, I just had to keep reminding myself that by the time Emma was in her mid thirties, he would be almost ready for retirement.

In this book we meet Emma and Christopher. Emma is the girl in the gilded cage. Her father has kept her just like a little girl. No fancy clothes, no make-up, no boys. At 20 her best friend thinks it is time for her to branch out but with her dad losing his job and her not wanting to rock any boats she knows this won't happen. Christopher was married to a woman for 21 years before he learned that she was cheating on him for most of those years. Now he has no desire for another relationship because he doesn't trust. When both of them begin to see how lonely their lives really are can they find true love or will they stick with their lonely existence never branching out?
This is an incredible book. You will find yourself emotionally connecting with these characters in ways you never thought you would. There are ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say that this book will have you hooked from the first page to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

When Emma turned twenty her life got turned upside down. Her father lost his job so they would have to downsize where they lived as well as their cars. Emma enjoyed the job she had at a small boutique but when her father got a job working for a family friend they all had to move so Emma needed a new job. When Christopher first saw Emma she stirred up feeling he thought were long gone especially after the way things ended with his ex-wife. When they do start seeing each other they want to be open about it but with his ex-wife and daughters and her controlling family they know nothing good would come from it. But how long can they really keep their relationship a secret when they work together?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Emma and Christopher is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this story to any of my book friends.

Michelle Love never fails to deliver the steam heat, and this May/September romance is no exception. The storyline almost has a gentle, sweet romance quality to it…if it weren’t for those scorchin’ love scenes Ms. Love does so well.
A diverse cast of characters keeps the reader turning pages in this luscious romance. Our hero, Christopher is a gorgeous, hardworking, thoughtful, and generous billionaire who just happens to develop an extreme case of insta-love for Emma. Emma is pretty, gentle, sweet, and shy, having been sheltered her entire life by her well-meaning parents. The cast is enhanced by a wise older assistant, a couple of narcissistic daughters, and a plotting ex-wife.
This is a novel that can easily be shared with your co-workers: it’s got those steamy love scenes, and a little bit of adult language. But it’s mostly a sweet story about a sheltered girl and a man that’s “too old for her” falling totally in love and fighting the odds to find their HEA.

All that really matters is Christopher & Emma together, enjoying every moment for the rest of their lives. Age is just a number & their hearts are bursting with love. I definitely would recommend this book for reading. I couldn't put it down & I got pulled into this story, wondering how these two people can conquer all those obstacles & roadblocks the loved ones erect.

This is my 1st review for this author but not my 1st read, when I saw this book on Booksprout I had to have it I love Michelle’s books. Christopher is a 46 year old billionaire who has two spoilt grown up daughters and a cheating ex wife. Emma is a 20 year old girl who has been sheltered all of her life by her parents, her father Sebastian announces to his family that he’s out of a job because the place that he was working for goes bankrupt. Sebastian wants to ask his friend Christopher if he has a position for him there, Christopher gives Emma a job as his assistant he falls in love with her but there are so many people against them. So will they be able to get their HEA or will the pressure be too much for them?. This is a fantastic story an older man / younger woman romance a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

A wonderful well written story that includes feelings of insecurites, jealousy, overprotectiveness, and love in this sweet story. A sheltered girl and an older divorced father's friend that has fallin love and fight for their HEA. A steamy story that is taboo but has twists and turns keeping you engrossed from the beginning. Christopher recieves a phone call from an old college buddy that his company folded and his daughter and him needs jobs. Sebastian moves his wife and daughter Emma to New Hampshire. Emma becomes Christopher's assistants assistant and he is enamoured trying to find ways to be with her. The steamy and sexy read was enjoyable and at times funny with an overprotective father, meddling spoiled daughters and a crazy cheating ex wife. A must read.

An amazing, interesting, and enjoyable book – quite a page turner. It is well-written and the characters are well developed. This is an older man much younger woman romance, but the undeniable chemistry between Christopher and Emma just flew off the pages; together they are an amazing couple. This story is heart-warming, heart-felt, heart-wrenching, inspiring, sexy, and hot. I always enjoy an older man younger woman story especially when the couple refuse to let age determine their happiness and I really enjoyed this one. Sweet read!
It took a few chapters for me to get into this young woman/older man romance but it was well worth waiting out a few stumbling blocks as Christoper, a late 40’s wealthy businessman falls in lust with his old college friend’s 20 year old, naive and innocent daughter. It had been years since he divorced his unfaithful wife, but somehow this innocent caught his attention. I was surprised that someone so young and immature would attract his attention but that she did as she was caught up with her attraction for him. A secret love affair turns into so much more. This was a predictable romance with plenty of reader satisfaction but few surprises. The extended epilogue seemed a bit contrived, but still guarantees a HEA. A quick read sure to give you a smile.

I Recommend this for OVER 18 DUE TO CONTENT.
This storyline is emotional and intense that kept me hooked.
Christopher has two grown daughters who do not make his life easy. They are spoiled and don't know the meaning of work. It does not help his ex wife Lisa

Do you see where this is going? Needless to say, their story is steamy and dramatic in the world against us trope. I was hoping there would be more “drama” from the ex or daughters or parents but it was as normal as expected. Still quite entertaining in spite of that. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

This is an interesting tale about an older man and young woman’s love story. When Emma Hancock meets Christopher Taylor for the first time they both feel the immediate connection, but because of the 26-year age difference they must face the objections of their families. Their families try to create obstacles which make it a rocky journey to their forever after.
The story is typical with no unexpected elements, but it is still a pleasant read. The characters are interesting, and the storyline is fast paced and easy to follow. I recommend this, if you are looking for a stock OMYW love story.

Another fabulous story by Michelle Love. The story is a beautiful story that has so many heartaches and love throughout the entire story. It is beautifully written and the flow of the story is superb. It may be a bit taboo for some but the way it is written is just amazing. I loved Christopher and Emma together. They have such hot chemistry and and the love they have just flows through the “pages”. It is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
I really enjoyed this book and found myself pulled into it from the first page. I found the characters of Christopher and Emma so likeable and was really rooting for them, and for their HEA. I also really enjoyed the ending, so many books I've read lately feel like the authors have got bored of writing so have rushed the endings, but Michelle brings the book to an almost organic end which feels like a natural place to conclude and therefore raises the caliber of the storyline.

Michelle's new book is as good as her last. Her story's all have a great line with characters that make you fall in love with them. You will deal with a range of emotions throughout this book but love will come out as the winner. Christopher and Emma meet dying an interview and it's Insta-Love for both of them. But with so much going against them including Emma's parents and Christopher's conniving ex-wife and spoiled adult daughters will there love last the test of time.

Not every romance and love is easy. This couple has a lot to struggle with before they can get to their HEA. Well written with nice story line and plot. Likeable and well described characters. Amazing chemistry. A story of nice length.
A mix of drama, an ex-wife, daughters, a father, passion, unexpected twists and emotional ups and downs makes it worth the read. Absolutely captivating and enjoyable to read.

This is a great story about the smart but shy/sheltered girl wanting to be her own person. She can't help that she is insanely attracted to her boss, and fathers college friend. He thought he would never trust or love a woman after his ex and his spoiled daughters. Despite everything that's against them they find a way to be together and prove to everyone they are meant to be. Sweet and steamy - just click it now!

This is a May/September love story. Christopher has two daughters older than Emma, who has been restricted by her father from dating or wearing make up. But when her father brings her to interview with his college friend, billionaire Chistopher, they are attracted to each other and he hires her as assisstant to his administrator. Good book that in time works its way to a happy ending. Another winner by Love. I volunteered this review from an ARC.

This is a well written older man / younger woman romance between Christopher and Emma. Their characters are strong and their chemistry is hot. The supporting characters play a huge role in bringing the story around and moving smoothly. It's an emotional book and I enjoyed reading. I would recommend this book.

This is a fast-paced read with plenty of steam. A divorced older man/boss falls for his friend’s innocent daughter/ personal assistant. Sebastien is laid off and needs a new job. His friend Christopher offers him and his daughter Emma a job. Sparks fly between Christopher and Emma but what will her overprotective dad have to say. Lots of steam and great chemistry. I really liked the story as well as the characters. An entertaining read.

I enjoyed this older man/younger woman, forbidden romance. A sweet story about two people at different stages of their lives and the unexpected attraction that blindsides both of them. With a plot filled with emotional turmoil, passion, self doubts, other people drama and a whole lot of what will you do for love? moments, the road to a HEA will be far from smooth sailing for these two. A good book that is fun and enjoyable read. I'm voluntarily posting an honest review.

Older man and younger woman, wow! I wish my father had friends like Christopher when I was younger. Emma lived a sheltered life thanks to her parents, but Christopher opened up a whole new world for her. Too bad that no one could see how happy they both really were at first. It took a child coming into the world to finally bring everyone together.
