This is a first-hand account of someone battling a chronic condition that is, at its best, poorly understood by most medical providers and, at worst, believed non-existent by others. People say you can't understand until you "walk a mile in someone else's shoes." So, what're you waiting for? Lace up and take a walk.
This story made me cry and even more considering that it's a true story. Anyone who comes open about their chronic conditions should be respected. After reading this book, maybe I should open up about my PTSD.
