Dads and boys just go together. They usually enjoy doing things with each other, like going fishing. In CAPTURING TIME by Wanda Snow Porter, Easton wants to go fishing with his dad. But when he asks Dad to go with him, he always gets the same answer. Dad never has the time. So, Easton decides he’ll solve the problem by capturing time, and the adventure begins.

The author has written a delightful story about a young boy who has a goal and isn’t about to give up until he achieves it. Lovely drawings, also by Wanda Snow Porter, follow along with Easton on his quest. Does he succeed in capturing time and get to go fishing with Dad? You may be surprised.
