Benny had been sold to the local biker gang years ago, and was in servitude until Landon rescues him. Unfortunately Benny has been told his entire life that he's a burden, so he tries more than once to leave the pack house. But Landon refuses to let him go, even though Benny is sure Landon is just being nice. When the president of the Grizzly Bastards demands his return, Benny finds out just how much Landon wants to keep him. Landon was taken by Knuckles, and can easily escape, but not without the small man who looks as though life chewed him up and spit him out. His body is riddled with scars, and Landon is determined to set Benny free. Only, he discovers that Benny is his mate, and Landon must fight to keep him. A bargain is struck, but Knuckles is obsessed with Benny, and will stop at nothing to get him back.

This book was significantly awesome to me. The personality that this author puts into her characters is so amazingly impressive and amusingly witty. The writing is so vivid that I feel like I'm being immersed right into the story. Benny was so innocently adorable, and he was like a slave to the shifter bears' MC. He was rescued and freed by Landon (loved him too) and their romance was so precious. I was afraid that the author would allow the threat in this story to persevere, but no, she didn't let me down. The ending was marvelous! I intend to read every book in this series and luckily I can now read them back to back, yay! :)

Landon and Benny are my favorite characters and their story is way better than the previous books. After shitty life he has been through, Benny is still adorable and sweet and Landon is so caring towards Benny. Too bad Lynn Hagen is too cruel to Benny, he can't get pregnant :(

Really enjoyable..

I really enjoyed reading this series. I was happy for Benny, finding freedom and Landon his mate. Only thing left is for fate to work in their favor, and they have a pup of their own. I would like to see Rio find his mate, and also find out what Colton is up to or planning.

3.5⭐️ Quick little read, I’ve read this a couple times now. Wish the author would have expanded on the serious issues raised in it but the characters are nice and you get a HEA
