I read the three stories in this set individually when they were first released, and loved them. Each has a different hero with issues. And each has a heroine who has to decide if she can love him despite those issues.
Heart of a Thief: 5 stars.
Asher is a real douche at the beginning of Heart of a Thief. He has addictions to lots of things, but his biggest high is stealing women who belong to other men.
I love Heart of a Thief. At first I was pretty disgusted and wondering if I was going to have to put this down and not finish, because Asher was so sleazy and so remorseless about all the hurt he inflicted on people. But once I realized he was really just a damaged soul who needed to find the heart he had buried, then I was all in. And Sloane, wow, that woman is kind of awesome. Just as damaged as Asher, if not more so, but with a core of loyalty that Asher never possessed until he met Sloane. I admired her, even as I kinda hated her toward the end. But, because Ella Miles is such a great writer, she made fall in love with her again, after making me fall for Asher, a man I despised at first. And she made me fall in love with their whole story.
Revenge tales can be really distasteful if not done right, but Ella did right by this trope. You'll fall in love with Asher and Sloane, even if you kind of despise them at first (especially Asher). And you'll love this sexy, twisty tale.
Heart of a Liar: 4 stars.
What do you do when the man who lied to you about every aspect of your relationship comes back to you for a second chance? If you're Ivy, you reject him at first, but eventually give in because your body can't resist him, even though your mind and your heart tell you to run the other way. Ivy and Luca had a beautiful relationship until the night of their 1st anniversary, when she found out everything she had thought was perfect was all lies. He had lied about who he was, what his job was, the fact that he had been dating others while he was with her - EVERYTHING was all a big lie. So when he comes to her two years later with the most adorable puppy, hoping she'll come back to him, that the puppy will soften her veterinarian's heart, he's sorely mistaken, because Ivy's not about to give a total liar another chance to break her heart again.
Except, Luca's lies were for her protection, and the biggest lie of all - his identity - just maybe, just maybe was something she could get past, she could understand why he had lied about everything. When they drifted back into a relationship, I wasn't sure it was a good idea, because I just knew he'd break her heart again and she didn't seem like she could handle another heartbreak. On the surface she seemed strong, but one glimpse of Luca again and she seemed fragile, too fragile to have him back in her life. But, Luca proved me wrong, EVENTUALLY, after twists and turns and some crazy happenings and some action.
Ella Miles knows how to write suspenseful romance, and she's upped her game with Heart of a Liar. It's got her signature sexy style, but the suspense and the twists are even better here. You'll be rooting for Ivy and Luca just like I was, and you'll fall in love with Luca's adorable puppy, Sophie!
Heart of a Prick: 4 stars.
Skye is on vacation and looking for wild, untamed, animal sex. So her resort holds a contest and whoever wins will be the one to give Skye what she wants. Sounds like a fluffy vacation romp, it's anything but, though. There is a serious reason why Skye is on vacation and wanting hot and steamy sex to take her mind off something horrible in her life. Brody is just the man to give her what she wants, but he's more than he seems, too. He wants to know what put the sadness he sees in her eyes, but will he get the chance? Especially when he seemingly turns out to be the jerk she had thought he was?
No one does suspense mixed with steam quite like Ella Miles, and she delivers like she always does in this story. I loved Brody and Sky's story. It's got twists and turns and seeing the two of them fall in love and deal with all the crazy things in her life is entertaining and engaging.

They believe in the fairy tales they have been fed their whole lives. I just teach them how wrong they really are. In the real world, love doesn't exist."Yeah...he's not exactly Prince Charming. But, when he meets Sloane, and he thinks she's going to be just another conquest that he can seduce then dump, he's got another think coming because she's not that easy. You see, she's got an agenda of her own. And when he finds out what that agenda is...it'll knock him on his devilish ass and tear out his heart, the heart he doesn't even realize he has until Sloane rocks his world.

GREAT READ!
A great collective bundle of this series that has a twisted storyline with some head turning moments that make it hard to put down at times. The chemistry is hot with an edgy feel. Emotionally captivating with daunting suspense. This a very enjoyable twisted read.

Good series all on one place!

I love Ella Miles books & have enjoyed many of her series., nothing better than a good series to keep up the good times!
Heart of a Thief
The story of Asher Calder, champion surfer, hot & sexy beach bum, a$$hole lover of the ladies. He doesn't have but one friend, doesn't need many possessions & lives in a shack on the beach even though he is loaded from all his surfing wins & endorsements. His most favorite pastime is being a thief, but not exactly how you might think..hunting down hearts only to break them just after he reels them in. He just steals them out from under whover they love, that's what this adrenaline junkie gets off on the most.
Let's just say, one day he meets someone who might be his biggest challenge, he can't resist trying to break her. Has he met his match? You will have to read this excellent book to find out.

Luca Mores is Asher Caudler's only friend, but he's met a woman her has fallen in love with so, Asher can never meet her. He would love to steal Ivy from Luca, wouldn't that be something?
This story is also told in dual POVs which I love. Luca meets Ivy while playing volleyball on the beach in Cali, where they both live. She's a veterinarian & loves animals. Luca is what? A beach bum who plays volleyball & surfs for a living? Well, he tells Ivy he's a lawyer but is he? He tells Ivy alot of things about himslef but after a year of dating, he decides she needs to know the whole truth about his life. She doesn't give him a chance to speak past..'Ivy, I've lied to you about who I am' &...she doesn't give him a chance to finish his story..she doesn't want to love a liar..she leaves hi & runs.
He finds her in New Mexico, living without him 2 years later. He isn't happy without her, wants her to love him back again, wants to tell her everything he didn't get a chance to say 2 years ago.
BUT, will she let him? This one has some seriously twisted parts as well that you would never guess. I loved it!

Skye, fellow veterinarian & friend of Ivy, from the previous book, Heart of a Liar, starts out in this one vacationing in a upscale, beachy resort. She's got alot going on & could use some down time with someone who knows how to get realllly down & dirty to help her forget her many troubles. So she arranges an impromptu contest to find a strong, dirty talking, sexy, bad boy stranger to give her just that for one week, no questions, no personal info, no feelings. Enter Brody...
I wondered what was going on with Skye that I missed in book 2? But, Ella Miles never disappoints with her 'plot thickening twists & turns' so as the story progressed, bits are revealed & surprises, not good ones are revealed.
I loved this series being together as one big continuous story with some interconnecting characters. I read all 3 as they came out but it was fun to read them again in this way.
Recommend you take a few days & get into Unforgivable! It is worth your time to do so!

Heart of a Thief
These are two of the most despicable lead characters I have ever read. But in spite of their less than savory attitudes and actions, we still come to find them lovable by the end. Asher is a self-described devil. He steals women out of committed relationships simply because he can. It's a game to him. On the surface, Sloane looks like the perfect sympathetic heroine. She runs a charity organization that puts at-risk youth back on the path to a successful future. Don't let that fairy princess description fool you. Likewise, Asher's bad-boy persona is as much a mask as Sloane's good girl. These two are carrying around a lot of hurt and anger, at the world, at each other. And we get to watch them unpack that baggage and learn that love isn't just a myth, that it can save us from ourselves.

That is not at all the direction I was expecting this book to take. I was already half in love with Luca from reading him in Heart of a Thief. After reading this book, I've fallen the rest of the way. Ivy was a little tougher for me to get a handle on. She believed Luca had hurt her on purpose and so she pours a lot of energy into hating him and wanting to get even. Which, while I can understand why she wants to do this, it didn't endear her to me until we got a lot further into the book. The reason why Luca's a liar is a doozy and since it's the heart of the book it would be a big, ugly spoiler if I said anything more about it. I've heard it said that hate isn't the opposite of love, that's apathy. You can see that at work here. Even though Ivy's trying so hard to hate Luca, there's still so much energy crackling between them it nearly melted my reader. I'm not so sure that these two are a perfect pairing, but their life together will never be boring.

This is a three book series and well worth the money as it's over 1000 pages on my iPad. Each book is about a different bad boy who is not what they seem and the strong, independent woman whom they fall in love with. The three stories–Heart of A Thief, Heart of A Liar, and Heart of A Prick are filled with suspense, angst, betrayal, truthfulness, forgiveness, lots of intimate moments, laughter, and finally love. At first I didn't think I was going to like Heart of a Thief because Asher's behavior in the beginning is deplorable, but I really did enjoy it because once I read their background stories; you can't help but route for them to stay together.
The women are also broken in someway and not perfect, and each of these three books will keep surprising you as their love stories just don't happen, they develop over time. As a reader, you will relate to them and you route for them to open up to one another and discover what direction they want their future to go so that they can be happy. Asher may have tried to steal women who were committed to other men in the beginning, but he was also vulnerable, lonely, generous, thoughtful, a real role model to the teens he mentored, a talented professional athlete, and not materialistic at all.
In Heart of a Liar, Luca lies to Ivy, and she tries so much to hate him and get revenge on him, but then sees beneath the surface and I'm so glad she did. I don't want to ruin this story by telling more because it's a real surprise and worth the wait. It's is a great second chance love story. Heart of A Prick is also another great story about Skye who travels to the Bahamas with the intention of meeting a man because she had her heartbroken, and it is there that she meets Brody. This story is filled with action, adventure, and surprises just like the other books.
I especially like how Ella describes the scenery (Hawaii, the Bahamas, etc.) and their careers in each of the books; I feel like I am always learning something new when I read her books. I especially like how the characters from the previous books continue in each of the stories and how they develop such an emotional connection in addition to the steamy love scenes. I generally can read a book a day and found myself not able to stop reading this weekend as I wanted to know what happened next!

Book 1: Heart of a Thief (4 Stars)
Asher is your typical surfer, spending his days on the beach and his evenings breaking hearts. But this all changes once he meets Sloane, and he wants nothing more than to make her his... Even if he hasn't realised why yet.
Now, besides the brilliant blurb that we got on the book, the entire thing was easy to read, the words just flowed and never seemed awkward. Their relationship was believable and the characters well thought out. I enjoyed the journey they went through and appreciated the author's talent at visualization their situations through her writing.
All in all, a solid 4 stars! (I really liked it!)
Book 2: Heart of a Liar (2 Stars)
I gave this book 2 stars. And this only because the first part of the book was actually pretty good. Up until Ivy found out Luca's first big secret... From there on out the two jump between hot and cold so fast I got whiplash. It just wasn't believable or captivating to read. Their relationship actually left me feeling quite annoyed. I ended the book not rooting for them at all.
Nothing wrong with the writing at all, the Author is actually really talented, unfortunately the story line just wasn't the best.
Book 3: Heart of a Prick (4.5 Stars)
Now this book I thoroughly enjoyed! Out of the 3 in the series, this one was most certainly my favorite. Not only did it include steamy sex scenes, but the male main character, Brody, is also a total cutie with a bad streak. He acts like a bad boy, but deep under it all is just a huge softie with a weakness for Skye.
The mystery in this book surrounding Skye and her life was equally frustrating and intriguing. I kept reading to find out what is going on in her mind. Why she wouldn't give Brody a chance. Could she not see how weak at the knees he was for her even though he tried to pretend that he isn't there for anything but the dirty sex?
The plot kept me on my toes throughout the book, and the writing drew me in and kept me reading every sentence in such detail in fear of missing anything. I was truly captivated and couldn't put it down until I finished it

From there on out the two jump between hot and cold so fast I got whiplash. It just wasn't believable or captivating to read. Their relationship actually left me feeling quite annoyed. I ended the book not rooting for them at all.
Nothing wrong with the writing at all, the Author is actually really talented, unfortunately the story line just wasn't the best.
Book 3: Heart of a Prick (4.5 Stars)
Now this book I thoroughly enjoyed! Out of the 3 in the series, this one was most certainly my favorite. Not only did it include steamy sex scenes, but the male main character, Brody, is also a total cutie with a bad streak. He acts like a bad boy, but deep under it all is just a huge softie with a weakness for Skye.
The mystery in this book surrounding Skye and her life was equally frustrating and intriguing. I kept reading to find out what is going on in her mind. Why she wouldn't give Brody a chance. Could she not see how weak at the knees he was for her even though he tried to pretend that he isn't there for anything but the dirty sex?
The plot kept me on my toes throughout the book, and the writing drew me in and kept me reading every sentence in such detail in fear of missing anything. I was truly captivated and couldn't put it down until I finished it

You will love Asher and Sloane together even though they are not “dating”. Just start reading and hang on. You will not be disappointed.

Asher was a truly despicable, borderline sociopath with the way he used and toyed with women and their emotions. It was a game to him and had dangerous consequences. Sloane ended up being his Waterloo as she played him with retribution as the goal. Kudos to the author for somehow turning this sad and pathetic couple into a HEA.

Written in a upbeat cute contemporary style, Luca (Asher’s friend and surfing buddy) tried to win back the love of his life, veterinarian Ivy by bringing in a new puppy for a checkup.
This sweet Second Chance romance was a fun read especially with Ivy’s quirky and spunky inner dialogue as she tried to figure out her feelings for lying Luca. When Luca came back for Ivy three long years after their breakup their attraction and chemistry was stronger than ever.
Lots of twists and turns in this romance that I didn’t see coming. Entertaining from start to finish with this outlandish modern day fairytale romance.

An odd contest at a hotel had Skye and Brody paired for the week.

Turned out there were deeper reasons to Skye’s behavior and she needed saving, desperately.
I liked the way Brody finally admitted to himself that he wanted Skye more than just a temporary fix. I kept reading to find out if he really cheated on her with Noah’s Assistant, hoping there was an explanation like the blond on his lap, but I was disappointed that he probably did cheat. Yuk.
Other than that unhappy picture, this romance was well written with an even and easy to follow pace.

I read each of the three books in this boxed set when they were released individually. They were all great stories! What follows are the reviews I left on the individual books.
Heart of a Thief: 4 stars
This is not your typical romance novel. Asher was an a** for most of the story and not at all likeable. It also starts out a little slow. However, I would encourage people to keep reading and give it a chance. The writing is done well and there is a surprising twist at the end. Overall, I enjoyed the story.
Heart of a Liar: 4 stars
This was a really good second chance romance story. Ivy and Luca broke up two years ago when she discovered that Luca had been lying to her. He has tracked her down to try to get her back. Will she be able to let go of the hurt and put issues of trust behind her to give him another chance? This is filled with drama and romance. There is a twist I didn't see coming, too.

*** Reviewing “HEART OF A THIEF” ***
This is different approach to a "romance" than I would have expected. Asher is a bad boy thief who takes pleasure in making engaged women fall for him, in effect stealing their hearts when he knows they belong with someone else. Once he wins his little twisted game, he tosses them away because they meant nothing at all to him. But meeting Sloane excites him because he sees this one as a challenge. The game certainly backfires on him because she ends up stealing his heart instead!
Sloane helps children for a non-profit organization and seems to be well-liked by everyone. She is engaged to marry Wes. Although this doesn’t deter Asher who cares nothing about such commitment, Sloane herself will make him work for what he wants. She makes sure it doesn’t come easily. Is this all a game for her too? Will Ash make her fall in love with him? Is this finally the one he won’t let get away?
There are many emotions pulled out in this book. But when I can’t like the characters, it makes it difficult to enjoy the book. Asher is just plain mean-spirited and takes his joy in demeaning others. Sloane is stubborn which helps her resist him, but I didn’t feel like she was as good as she may have seemed and there may have been something more to her. I guess it comes down to this book not being a good fit for me personally.

Despite the clever setups, I didn’t feel emotionally invested in these stories.
This set didn’t live up to my hopes for it. I love a good hate/love romance, but these didn’t give us enough depth of character to really feel either the love or the hate. In Heart of a Thief, we have a rather unlikable character whose necessary personal growth is never developed. In Heart of a Liar, the conflict seems to revolve around events that happened prior to their current romance, but those events aren’t explained enough to validate the current conflict. In Heart of a Prick, the lead female comes across as fickle and flighty, with her choices resulting in nearly eliminating a chance at a true HEA, though it seems like they may find it after all.
As a quick and dirty beach read, each of these stories works as a steamy standalone with a couple unexpected twists. Just remember to enjoy them on the surface and don’t try to find answers to the nagging questions left behind. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this set.

Sky is a woman who is free spirited vet with her own practice. She has very good friends that care about her but she carries within her a pain she cannot escape. I absolutely love Heart of a Prick. Skye and Brody are beautiful and hot together. Love all the twist and turns that kept me flipping the pages. An amazing read.

I had read this author's work previous in the Maybe' series and now in the 'Truth or Lies' series. To read this box set was a no brainer for me as I love this author's style of writing, the detailed story and great characters that you get to meet. This box set is no different with the three books Heart of a Thief, Heart of a Liar and Heart of a Prick that are included. We get to meet three men and women who struggle with themselves as well as with each other. Each book will bring you a story where the characters have some sort of growing up to do, realization of life moment or something that just puts a good twist into the story. Be prepared for a couple twists and turns in these books but all of them will drive the story and make you enjoy the words you are reading as well as accelerate the page turning. Enjoy!

Unforgivable is a well written box set with well developed characters and twisty stories. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this box set.

An enjoyable, mostly fun series. This isn't the kind of series that I could read straight through. After Sloane and Asher's story - which is super steamy and has a revenge plot that I suspected but not to that caliber - I had to switch to something a tad bit happier as I found the tragedy a little overwhelming, even though they finally found their HEA. Next up is Ivy and Luca. They have their own share of crazy that, for the most part, is more lighthearted while still being steamy and cute. Lastly, you have Skye and Brody - my favorite from this series. Outwardly, Skye is brash, sassy, and willing to take on anyone. In the bedroom... that's where things get interesting. All three couples are challenged with some crazy situations but, somehow, love finds a way.

A well written story with nice storyline and plot. Characters well described and they develop well through the story. I do not have the same connection with Ivy and Luca as I had with the characters in the other books. But it is an enjoyable read with unexpected twists, betrayal, secrets, trust issues and emotional ups and downs.
A story of nice length and very captivating from start to finish.
I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. The twists and turns are so unexpected that they made it worth the read.
I like to follow their journey to get their HEA. They have to fight for it with all the trouble that is thrown at them.

This is a fantastic valve collection, containing three enjoyable books, that is great for any fans of this author. All well written with Interesting storylines.
Heart of a thief had a unusual and different storyline that draw me in, although by the time it got to the second half, I was expecting something along the lines of where the storyline went. It did end a little abruptly though.
Heart of a liar follows the story of Asher's friend Luca, and Ivy. This had a enjoyable storyline with some surprising twists and turns, but considering the connection between Asher and Luca, it would have been nice to see some more of him in this book.
Heart of a prick follows the story of Skye, who works with Ivy from the previous book, and Brody. Again another enjoyable and different storyline.

Ella Miles has given us a series with three bad boys for us to love! Each story is amazing and well-written the storyline flows so well that you want to read all three back-to-back. The three stories: “Heart of a Thief”, “Heart of a Liar”, and “Heart of a Prick” are filled with suspense, betrayal, honesty, forgiveness and lots of laughter, and surprises. The bad boys are relatable and you want them to find love. They just do it the hard way, but it is definitely worth it to their ladies. Just check out the steamy love scenes and off the charts chemistry. This series is perfect for a weekend as once you start reading you will not want to put it down!!!

Unforgivable. This complete collection is fantastic! It is filled with excitement and adventure. The characters go through so many challenges trying to find love. All three of the alpha males do some very crazy things to the women that keeps the women skeptical of whether the men know what love really is and can they give love to them. The stories are very interesting and surprising that you must read these books! Mixed collection of men who behave in unforgivable ways
*** 3 1/2 Stars ***
I have read several books by Ella Miles and fell in love with the Truth or Lies series. So I had an idea of what to expect from this author. The Unforgivable series is from her back catalog and the books in this box set were a mix for me.
Thief - I did not like and could not finish
Liar - The relationship between Ivy and Luca is a bit different and there are definite trust issues, as he lied about something very big at the beginning of their relationship. She walked away and now he is back to try and win her over. There were some things in the story-line that I did not really understand and I found the characters were lacking some depth and details. But overall it is an good read but not the best.
Prick - Skye and Brody have one week of kinky vacation sex when they meet at an all inclusive in the Bahamas. But she has to leave a day early and he ends up upset about it. So he texts her that he will be at the airport but never shows up. So that is a prick move if I every saw one. But now it is several months later and he cannot get her out of his mind. He ends up finding her but true to form she does not want anything to do with him, right move for her!. He will have to try and win her over but will he be able to after being a prick to her?
I liked this story the best but still found the story-line a bit lacking and the characters were enjoyable but I wanted more depth.
I will add that reading these stories shows me just how Ella Miles has honed her writing and storytelling skills.

Loved the books it was great the stories were well written and the characters were interesting. Asher does not like people in love, so his aim is to take the women away. Does he succeed.
Luca lies and Ivy ended their relationship can Luca change Ivy's mind.
Skye is taking a needed break she ends up in the Bahamas . Rest and relaxation until Brody comes along. Things get heated Brody plays with Skye and dabbles in BDSM.

I've not read this author before. I wanted to love love it, unfortunately I didn't. I tried to connect with the characters in the first two books but failed. It's not that I didn't like the stories, I just couldn't connect with the characters. Until the last story. From the start Skye had me hooked, and I really enjoyed here story. Really different. All along I thought it was her BFF who paid for her extravagant holiday, but when she left Albuquerque and went to LA, I began to wonder. So glad that Brody didn't give up.
