My rating is really a 3.5, which is why I always say we need 1/2 star ratings. I must admit that it truly gives me pause to give it a 3.5 rating, because I absolutely adore Nicole Edwards books, I was so excited for Trent's book, and I have enjoyed the other books in the Office Intrigue series, especially, Their Rebellious Submissive, but I had a connection issue with this installment. I had trouble connecting with Trent. Something was missing for me. I don't know if it was the way he just demanded that Troy and Clarissa refer to him as Master instead of building up to being called that title by earning their respect and trust from having established a relationship with them or the fact that he didn't seem to talk enough to Clarissa or Troy before issuing orders. Don't get me wrong, the story was extremely well-written and the sexy times were enough to make you hop in the shower to cool off, as any Nicole Edwards' book is, but I just needed a little more. I wanted more relationship building between Trent, Clarissa, and Troy, and esp. between Trent and Troy, since there had never been any indication that Trent would end up in a relationship like this from his appearances in the Club Destiny series. I also felt like I wanted more from Troy's story. A lot of the times I felt like he was just there to satisfy both Trent and Clarissa. I absolutely loved Troy. Troy was my absolute favorite of the three. He was so sweet and giving, and let's not forget gorgeous and sexy as all get out!!! Troy was the was the grounding agent between Clarissa and Trent, because Clarissa, who was going through a hard time, is very prideful and stubborn, and Trent who constantly issues orders, but fails to see his role in causing some of the problems they were facing. Troy definitley had his work cut out for him, and he handled it well.

Their Famous Dominant, the 4th installment in the Office Intrigue series by Nicole Edwards, is the story of Trent Ramsey, the famous actor who we first met in the Club Destiny series, Troy Shelton, Trent's personal assistant, and Clarissa Tinsley, an attorney and friend of Xander and Mercedes Boone, and who we also first met in the Club Destiny series, finding their way to their happily ever after. One of the great things about this book is that you get each character's POV in every chapter, so you are getting the story from all angles, and you get to experience how the events of the story are affecting each character. Another great thing about the book is the fact that there are so many surprise guest appearances by many of the characters we have come to know and love from her other series, as well as this one. I must admit that is one my favorite things about Nicole Edwards' books, besides Nicole's writing, is the interconnections of the characters. So, although I may not have been head over heels in love with this installment, I am so very excited for the next installment, Their Ruthless Sadist, because the glimpses of Zeke that we got in this book only piqued my curiosity 1000 folds for his story.

Readers who are familiar with Nicole Edwards’ Club Destiny series have already been introduced to Trent Ramsey - a man who is legendary in the BDSM world as well as one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood. Trent Ramsey dominates his submissives as well as the Box Office and he does so for all the world to see because he’s comfortable with who he is and what gets him off and if society wants to talk about or condemn him for his kinky ways, he can’t stop them nor will their judgment stop him from what he wants or how he gets it.

While Trent seems to have everything he wants in life, money, fame, power, and a more than healthy sexual appetite, there’s still something missing, and in order to fill this void, he finds himself wanting to dominate and connect with two people and the most interesting part is one of them doesn’t seem to have a submissive bone in HIS body, is ready to teach both Clarissa and Troy who they truly are and how satisfying this threesome could be.

The length of Their Famous Dominant speaks to the amount of instruction that needs to take place in order for Trent Ramsey to educate his submissives, allowing them to absorb his guidance when it comes to the BDSM world that Trent dominates, but even after that foundation is laid, the emotional connections need to occur as well and that takes time for everyone to get comfortable and allow themselves to give into their sexual desires in both overwhelming and fulfilling ways.

Trent, Troy, and Clarissa’s journey does not follow a linear path; in fact, it starts and stalls, pushes and pulls, and moves in all different directions as all of them learn to traverse this new lifestyle and their connection becomes about so much more than sex.

Their Famous Dominate is exactly the type of ménage story that I’ve grown to love, partly because that kind of relationship is unique and their characteristics are anything but cookie cutter, but also because Nicole Edwards’ emotional storytelling and her multifaceted characters never fail to turn me on and make me truly understand that love is love, regardless of number or gender.

This was book 4 in the " Office Intrigue" series. Trent Ramsey is a famous actor who is a dominant who also owns BDSM clubs. Trent is ready to settle down he has his eye on not one but two subs his assistant who is a man and a female. Troy Shelton has worked for Trent for 3 years. Troy has never had any problems until someone begins breaking into his apartment and his car is dying. Clarissa Tinsley is having a hard time she was fired from her job because she stood up for herself. Clarissa is a contract lawyer. This was a good read Trent is a hot sexy Alpha male who knows what he wants. Troy who is new to the scene can't believe that his boss who he thought was straight wants him. Clarissa who has been in the lifestyle for awhile can't believe that Trent wants her she has problems with relationship because of her mother's divorces she also is insecure. When Trent finds out about Troy's apartment being broken into he has him move in with him. I also liked how Trent didn't allow Clarissa to hide behind pleasing him he wanted a sub with a backbone and she was acting like a robot. I liked this book but it was long and when someone breaks into Clarissa's house Trent will do anything to protect both of them. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

5 Star Review Their Famous Dominant (Office Intrigue #4) by Nicole Edwards

The 4th instalment in the Office Intrigue series and it was a great read. I have been intrigued with Trent Ramsey since he first appeared In The Club Destiny series from Nicole Edwards.

Trent has fame and fortune and yet there is something missing in his life.He has been attracted to and lusted after Clarissa Tinley for years.However, Trent needs more than Clarissa, he also wants his personal assistant Troy to be a part of it.Trent is a Master , a Dominant and is seeking the submissives who will complete his life and he is determined to get who he wants.

However, will fame and fortune destroy this trio before it can even get off the ground? Will Trent, Clarissa and Troy be able to rid themselves of the baggage they carry?

I really loved Troy but was certainly frustrated by Trent and Clarissa at times, in fact I really wasn’t sure that I liked them to be honest at the beginning, although they did grow on me as I read the book.

There is certainly a lot going on in this book. There is plenty of angst as they struggle to come to terms with their relationship and the sex scenes certainly are smoking hot. We see many familiar faces in Their Famous Dominant and there is also a surprise or two in store for the readers.

Having read Ms.Edwards previous books, two of my favourite genres are BDSM and menage and you will most assuredly find both in this book; this is seriously hot book and one which will be sure to get you going. The writing was strong which is what I have come to expect from a Nicole Edwards book and I cannot wait to read the next instalment of the series. I am hoping it will be Zeke’s story as I cannot wait to read it.

Ok I loved, loved, loved Trent And Troy!! Loved them!! I tolerated Clarissa throughout the first 80% of this book then she became somewhat likeable.
This is a very good story, with good characters( except Clarissa, again just ok), hot burn your kindle sex scenes, amazing secondary characters and drama.
I won't go over the synopsis, but I will tell you this was my favorite book in this series. It is a m/f/m relationship set in the world of bdsm, wealth, power, love and drama . The reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because of the main female lead, Clarissa! I like my female leads to be strong independent take no shit females and Clarissa was the fucking exact opposite! She was an immature brat who topped from the bottom! Just because your a submissive in the bedroom and play doesn't mean you are in everyday life! From my experience reading bdsm type books most submissives are super strong women in strong careers who just need to be not strong in their love life and let someone else lead and take charge. Again not Clarissa. She was even a lawyer (a contract lawyer but still a lawyer), oh how I'd love to know how she finished law school, because she was a Wuss!!! Trent and Troy superb characters!! I'd love to be the cheese in that man sandwich!! If your friends & lovers are calling you robot and accusing you of being like a doll in your submission , you've got a problem!
This would have been the perfect story if it was just about Troy and Trent, or a mature knows what she wants female partner.
Still an awesome read!!! Totally worth your time and it can be read as standalone.
So turn down the air conditioning, grab a copy when it's released and prepare for some heat and dominance!!

I won't lie, I havent' read the last couple of books in the Office Intrigue series, though I have read the first. Nothing against the book, just a case of so many books, so little time.

I was happy to see that this book was about Trent Ramsey - if you have read the Club Destiny series, you have met him already, though if you haven't Their Famous Dominant can be read as a stand alone.

Nicole Edwards books are always long, but there is so much going on in Their Famous Dominant that it is no surprise that this book is bigger again - it is like the length of 2.5-3 regular ebooks these days. But we needed it to be longer too.

Trent is a famous movie star, and a well known dominant. Clarissa is the woman who has been on his radar for a long time now. Troy is his personal assistant - who Trent wants to make things a lot more personal with, if you know what I mean!

I liked that this wasn't just a regular D/s situation, that not all involved are experienced in the scene. There are so many things that our lovelies all need to work out amongst themselves before they could start their unconventional relationship.

And yes, their relationship is really unconventional, however it didn't feel it. It didn't feel awkward, it didn't feel weird. It felt like love all around.

It was great to see some names from past books and series pop up.

Trent, Clarissa and Troy are all extremely likable - Troy particularly for me. There was no OTT drama (sure, there were issues but nothing too extreme) and the story flowed naturally. Nothing felt rushed or forced.

I am now going to have to find the time to go back and read the couple of books I have missed, and need a reread of the Club Destiny series. Is is wrong to ask for 36 hour days so I can fit them in?

I can't wait to see what Ms Edwards brings us next.

Actor Trent Ramsey takes on the starring role in this 4th installment to Nicole Edwards’ Office Intrigue series. First introduced in this author’s Club Destiny series, I’ve been waiting for Trent’s story for quite some time. Finally, his story landed on my Kindle, and I couldn’t have been more excited. Thankfully, Trent’s long-awaited story didn’t disappoint!

After years of lusting after the beautiful submissive Clarissa, Trent seizes an opportunity to finally make her his own. But Trent has been secretly harboring feelings for his personal assistant, Troy, as well. Although men have never been a part of Trent’s sexual repertoire, there’s just something about Troy that Trent finds enticing--that compels him to want to dominate the man who has been managing his world for the last 3 years. Hence, it’s not surprising when Trent sets out to make his lascivious desires a reality. But to do so, means convincing both Clarissa and Troy to be his subs. While Trent has never taken on a sub before—let alone two—he’s confident that this arrangement would be sexually gratifying for them all, should they agree. He just needs to draw out Troy’s submissive side and break down Clarissa’s defensive shield in order for it to work.

Regardless of her intense feelings towards Trent, Clarissa is initially reluctant to put her heart on the line. But a bi-sexual Troy is quickly on board—despite his naïveté when it comes to Dom/sub relationships. Eventually, Clarissa comes around, and their combined sexual chemistry is scorching hot! Whether it’s all three or a combination of two, their steamy exploits in and out of the bedroom is simply off the charts!!

Told in alternating POV’s, I enjoyed getting a glimpse inside each of these character’s heads. I loved that Trent took what he wanted and didn’t care what the outside world thought, refusing to allow others to dictate his actions. Clarissa, on the other hand, I found frustrating with regards to her ability to constantly erect walls and to remain detached. Getting inside her head really helped to diffuse that frustration somewhat, as I was better able to understand her choices a little bit more. And as for Troy... well, he quickly became my favorite in this sinful little trio. Although he was new to this type of submissive relationship, Troy was both eager and open to exploring all possibilities and quickly became the emotional glue binding them all together.

Steam factor aside, it’s the suspense element injected into this story that really held a special appeal for me, setting this Dom/sub story apart from similar stories of its kind. While I might have craved a tad more suspense, especially mid-way through when the story started to wane, overall, “Their Famous Dominant” was right on the mark. I connected with the characters emotionally, and the story’s conclusion hit all the right chords.

Although Club Destiny and Office Intrigue fans will, no doubt, enjoy cameo appearances by series’ favorites, “Their Famous Dominant” can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. In fact, it just might be my favorite of the Office Intrigue books, thus far.

Their Famous Dominant is the fourth book in the Office Intrigue series by one of my favorite authors, Nicole Edwards. I have read almost all of her books and she always delivers the fantastic storylines, the incredible writing and the sexiness. It can be read as a standalone, but you will definitely have more fun if you have read the other books and The Club Destiny series. We have known Trent Ramsey for a long time. I wasn't sure he would ever get his own book! But, man am I glad he did. It was worth the wait! Trent is rich, famous and the most sought after movie star in the business. His life is very public, but he's not in the habit of hiding who he is. He's a Dom. His lifestyle requires the control and he needs it to survive. He's looking for a submissive to share his life with. Actually, he's in the market for two of them. His sexy, personal assistant, Troy. And Clarissa, a woman he's known for years and hasn't been able to forget. He wants them both. He needs them both. But Troy is a man, the first man he's ever has feelings for. Clarissa is independent, stubborn, but submissive to her core. He has his work cut out for him with these two. They are sexy, sweet, fun, but can the three of them make it work? It's not going to be wildly accepted, does that matter? Can Trent show Troy and Clarissa that he can't live without them before it's too late? I loved this story! Threesomes are a hard situation, but add in the Dom/sub relationship and it's even harder. Trent is sexy and knows what he wants, but he's also vulnerable and it's hard for him to trust people. Everyone seems to want a piece of him. Clarissa is so stubborn! Not gonna lie, I wanted to smack her a few times. She's insecure and has a hard time trusting that Trent actually wants her. Now, Troy. Troy is my favorite. There was just something about him that called to me from the very beginning! I don't know if it was his soulful eyes or his hilarious inner monologue. He's new to the scene and had no idea what was going on! He's sexy, sweet, dedicated and just so much fun! Overall, I laughed, cried, was seriously hot and bothered and I loved it. Trent's story was everything I wanted it to be and more. I also loved all the new characters we met(ZEKE) and I loved seeing some old friends (XANDER!) I can't wait for Their Ruthless Sadist!

Still, I had the overwhelming urge to please him. And I knew for a fact Trent Ramsey didn't have a single submissive bone in his entire body, so I took that to mean I was definitely the submissive in this little test.

While Trent put me on edge, I found Troy to be like a balm for the soul.

Trent Ramsey was a bad boy of the highest caliber. He was sex personified, a walking wet dream.

The Famous Dominant

Their Famous Dominant, 4th installment in the Office Intrigue series and the story is about the relationship that developed between Trent, Troy and Clarissa. Trent is the world famous actor and Trent is his assistant, while Clarissa is the woman that Trent has been fascinated with for a very long time. This story is told in each character’s POV and it allows for the reader to actually get to see how each character is feeling at a precise moment. This leads for great development of the love story between these three characters. Trent is the Dominant, we find out that as much as Troy is a submissive, he does a dominant side that he shows with his interactions with Clarissa. This triad takes us on an interesting journery to their HEA. We see that Clarissa has to come to terms with what is expected of her as a submissive, so while she’s been part of the lifestyle for a while we see that she was acting on a role and not on true emotions but she soon realize that in order to really be part of a relationship she had to be true to herself. Troy on the other hand is new to the lifestyle and we see that as the saying goes he takes to his new choice like “bees to honey”. Troy is so naturally fitted to be Trent’s submissive and in many ways he is the anchor for both Trent and Clarissa. As with any Nicole Edwards book the sexy times was HOT as always and it’s during these times that you really see where a connection is developing with this triad. All in all, this story is very well written and very intriguing. All in all it’s a great read and for me will worth the wait. I love that as is per usual for Nicole Edward’s book that we got to meet the characters for the new book as well as getting to see old faces from the other series.
I’ve been waiting for this book since I met Trent in the AI and Devotion series and this story did not disappoint. I am totally recommending that you read this book, I will advise that you don’t let the subject matter deter you because Nicole is a master at getting the reader involve in the story and the subject matter is an additive and not the entire substance. Her stories are written for you to fall in love with the characters and to actually enjoy the telling of a love story in which a group of characters are able to achieve their happily ever after.

Once again Nicole great job and I can’t wait for Their Ruthless Sadist!!!

Their Famous Dominant by Nicole Edwards is book four in her Office Intrigue Series. This book can easily be read as a standalone. Yes, there are a few cross-overs, but you can follow the storyline without problems.
The previous books are The Office Intrigue; Intrigued Out Of The Office; Their Rebellious Submissive and now Their Famous Dominant.

Trent, the world famous actor and owner of a adult club, feels like he´s missing on life. He´s 35 years old and on top of the world. But he longs for something.

Troy Shelton is his trusted PA. He´s 300 years old and loves working for Trent. He craves something more than his current life, but can´t express what.

And then there´s Clarissa Tinsley. She´s a 32 yeár old lawyer, self employed, submissive but not a dorrmat, with a crush on Trent for a long time.

These three people could be so great together as triad and more - only all of them have issues and baggae that threatens to destroy their HEA.

While Troy is the easy going and my absolute favorite character, Trent and Clarissa are very difficult to get a grip on.
I started reading and was captivated from page one. I read the book in one sitting, I had to know what happens to the story and the characters. Definitely a pageturner!

I´m torn about Trent and Clarissa, their behavior was so unpredictable at times and at some point I was real angry at them. They had me in knots. I rooted strongly for their relationship, but on the other side, I knew it couldn´t work that way.

All in all, Nicole Edwards wrote a wonderful book with great characters I easily connected with. The writing is brilliant and I was hooked from the beginning. I recommend Their Famous Dominant and can´t wait to read the next book - Zeke´s story.

Trent, a famous actor is looking for that something to make him happy. He thinks he knows the answer, but it would include two other people. In his world, where he is a dominant, he is looking for a submissive, or in this case two. Can he find the balance to love and dominate two? Troy is Trent's personal assistant and is the man for the job of one of submissive. And the other is Clarissa, a woman Trent has been watching for years. The catch is will these two agree? Will the three be compatible and will it make Trent happy? Nicole Edwards has continued her Office Intrigue series with a trio that is fun, flirty, hot and at times so stubborn you will want scream! It's full of hot sex, relationship issues and a surprise you will love. I truly love the integration Edwards has of bringing so many of her characters together. This is definitely a standalone read, but seeing Landon, Langston and Lucy makes the story comfortable, like going to your hometown. And including Zeke as a high secondary character with his dog is a perfect addition.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel breathe life into this book. These characters each have their own personality and this team uses their talents with impeccable voices and true emotions. I love how they give their all to a book, making the listener feel the love and pain of the story. It’s an excellent listen.

Trent Ramsey has it all fame and fortune that he has worked hard for all his life but something was missing, Clarrisa Tinley!! He has fantasies of what it would be like to have her and Troy his assisant for the last three years he has fantasies about him and Clarissa together!
What will happen when those fantasies come true, will he have a life time with them or will all the fame and fortune be the ending before it even starts?
To find out we will need to read this book!

I've been wanting to read more mmf/ffm poly relationship and this one was recommended to me and as much as I wanted to love it I had big issues with two of the people out of three in this relationship.

The last 20% got significantly better and they finally communicated their emotions but for a 500 pages book that's a lot of annoying stuff to wade through before getting to the satisfying part.

Also I'm not 100% sure I like how some things are handled in this book but there weren't any giant red flags.

I couldn't put my finger on what was bothering me so much about this book and in the end I think It boils down to it being insta lovey with extra steps! From page one they're all in love/lust with eachother but since communication is too easy for these derps they have 300 pages of back and forth back and forth and then they finally get back to the insta love.

There is literally no reason why Trent and Troy are so much into Clarissa or her into them (except lust, which is fine), but the books goes about it as if this is a giant romance with so many issues to overcome when it could have all been resolved with a quick open honest chat.

I think if this would have concentrated more on their relationship than all the side quests and it was 200 pages shorter it would have been a great read.

TLDR : was ok, a bit long.

Their Famous Dominant is very easily read standalone... though for those who had read Nicole Edwards prior books Trent Ramsey is a man who has popped up from time to time and though devoted fans waiting a long time for his story... man.... was it ever worth the wait!

Their Famous Dominant is a menage read that is amazingly well developed and that takes its time to build as the emotions go hand and and with the sex... well maybe in some cases the emotions come FIRST! The BDSM elements in this book are meticulously crafted with honesty and trust.

I don't really want to say much about how the book unfolds... I will say the how Trent engaged Clarissa and Troy into his world; the how he careful brings them into the fold of his world and how he most importantly relays to each the importance in his life kept me glued to my kindle.

This story is as much about emotion and connection as it is about sexy and the dynamics of being a sub to the very alpha Dom Trent.

The use of Clarissa's friend Mercedes really added to the story, she pushed Clarissa, she made Clarissa think and she allowed the reader additional inside....If you have read prior Nicole Edwards books yes this is the Mercedes and we get re-visit THAT scene with Xander from Perception. The scene plays a critical role in this one but do not worry if you haven't read the prior books everything is explained.

As an FYI for reads this is a m/m/f menage... meaning the men touch...it is hot, laced with emotion and the connection between Trent and Troy bleeds off the pages.

The story takes it's time to develop, the reader can feel the tension building and emotions growing deeper; I adored this about the story!

In the end the happy Trent, Troy and Clarissa find is one I BELIEVED; this part for me is so key in a menage read. Ms Edwards has proved yet again with heir Famous Dominant why she is the Master of Menage!

The end.. OMG the epilogue.... Their Ruthless Sadist can't get here fast enough! Master Zeke I am so excited you and your boys are next!

There are several things about this book that made it enjoyable for me as an audiobook lover.
The publishers nailed the casting when they chose Tor Thom to portray Troy Shelton and and Trent Ramsey. Good grief his voice is utterly captivating! His ability to seamlessly shift from Trent to Troy while giving us a different sounding male voice was crucial since the story was written and told in multiple points of view. Had Tor not been so insanely talented in this department, it could have been challenging to try and keep up with which male character was doing the talking during each scene. He never let me down!! I just kept shaking my head wondering "how does he do that?"
Tor brought each man to life.

The role of Clarissa Tinsley was portrayed by Charley Ongel. Clarissa was sort of wounded and at times quite timid. Charley's sweet sounding voice was ideal for the female lead. It was easy to believe that Clarissa would sound as Charley did; quite docile and submissive. However; at times, I wish Clarissa would have sounded a bit more confident and less breathy in her responses. The breathiness the punctuated the end of several comments made by Clarissa became a bit distracting for me as I listened to the story. I found myself getting caught up in the nature of the performance rather than the story itself at times.

The storyline itself was great; especially for those who love the BDSM scene. To up the anty, Nicole Edwards gives us an incredibly hot menage' book with these characters. We first meet Trent Ramsey and Clarissa Tinsley in the Club Destiny series. So for many, the romance between these two characters has been a long wait fulfilled. The twist on this...it includes a third player. Yum.....

There was also an element of mystery and surprise to the storyline which kept me entertained. Wasn't expecting that, so that was a definite perk!

Trent Ramsey is a Hollywood A lister actor, and owner of two BDSM clubs. He has never taken a submissive before but knows that his dominant nature will one day demand that he give in. He has been lusting after Clarissa since they first met years earlier, but these new feelings that he's developed for his personal assistant Troy Shelton have taken him by surprise. He finds himself growing more and more attracted to Troy every day, and recognizes that Troy is a submissive at heart. Trent deduces that he may be able to have the best of both worlds if he can convince both Troy and Clarissa to be his permanent submissives.

The story was interesting to say the least, and full of emotion. Trent was very patient with both Clarissa and Troy and the chemistry between the three was easy to feel. There was a genuine story that played out, as well as plenty of heat!

I appreciated that the story was written in such as way that even if you have not read the previous books, you will not feel as if you are missing out on pivotal plot points. The book is more than capable of being enjoyed as a standalone and can stand on its own merits. Don't be afraid to dive in.

Overall, this was a fantastic audio thanks to a brilliant performance. I would not hesitate to recommend this book, or any others narrated by Tor Thom who truly showcased his talent here.

Took me a bit to finish with over 18 hours of audio goodness. :)

It seems as though I’ve been waiting forever to read Trent Ramsey’s story. If you’re already a fan and reader of this author, you know Trent. We’ve been treated to snippets of him for quite a while, most notably in the Club Destiny series. But the reader has never been privy to what makes this man tick…until now.

Clarissa and Troy have also been introduced to us in the past, but in an even more peripheral way than Trent was. But not to worry, this one truly can be read and enjoyed as a standalone. While you may not totally get the ins and outs of how Chatter is run without reading the others in this series first, that is not central to this plot and not an issue if you want to jump in and read this book first. (The other books are amazing so I suggest you still eventually go back and read them, though!)

I cannot find the words to really express how much I love Troy. He is absolutely extraordinary! From the very beginning when his role is personal assistant to when he meets Clarissa in person to when he realizes the change that is happening in his relationship to Trent. He is so empathetic to all aspects of this non-traditional relationship and he just stole my heart. Troy’s “vanilla” existence also helps the reader, who may not have any idea of the truth behind a BDSM lifestyle, learn along with him to a certain extent.

Clarissa’s experience with BDSM is almost to her detriment. Because she’s never found the right Dom for her she has a lot of bad habits when fulfilling her role as a sub. Not that she’s even aware of this fact. Clarissa is aware that she is a sub and that is the lifestyle she needs and craves, but in her experience her interactions in the D/s scene have left her feeling empty instead of satisfied. When her issues are brought to her attention by Trent, in a loving way, she pushes back. Not because he is wrong or mean or accusatory, but because she is scared.

It’s scary to fall in love when you’re in a traditional relationship. Add in any sort of “other” and it makes it even harder. For Trent, Troy, and Clarissa there is a lot of “other” going on so it makes the navigation of their triangle quite precarious. On top of everything, Trent is always in the limelight with his celebrity status making things even more difficult.

While my heart ached for each of these characters at different points throughout this story, I enjoyed watching them all come into their own and find their true selves with each other. One of the observations I loved toward the beginning was how an interaction between the three of them had been awkward, yet still fun and felt right. The three of them found their home with each other and there’s nothing better than that.

Now, of course, I’m chomping at the bit to get Zeke’s story. He’s quite an intriguing man and we got to see his soft side in this story. It’ll be interesting to see the sadist side come out and see how he is able to meld them all into one.

Their Famous Dominant is the fourth book in the Office Intrigue series by one of my favorite authors, Nicole Edwards. You can read it as a complete standalone. I would know...I did. The characters from the previous books are in this story so if you did read them so you will get to catch up with them. I know Trent was in other books by Nicole but this was the first time I had the pleasure of meeting one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and Dom.

Trent Ramsey had it all. Money, fame, homes, businesses, and submissives falling at his feet. They were not ones he craved though. No, he only wanted the one woman he couldn’t get out of his mind. Clarissa Tinsley. He also found himself wanting his personal assistant, Troy. The man who has been by his side for the last three years. No, Troy was not in the BDSM lifestyle but he saw a submissive in his assistant and he wanted to bring him to the dark side.

Troy knew about this side of Trent. But, he had never been to one of his clubs. Until now. He didn’t know much about this lifestyle. Nothing really but it did intrigue him. He fantasized about his boss over the years but that was all fantasy. He knew Trent didn’t like men in that way. That was until he shocked him into submission. He didn’t know what was happening. His boss obviously wanted Clarissa in his bed so why was he looking at Troy like he wanted him there as well?

Because he wanted them both in his room. Preferably in the kneeling position before tying them up. Can Clarissa and Troy accept that Trent wanted them both? Together in his bed.

Ok, I don’t won’t to say more about the story but I will say that I fell in love with Trent and Troy! Troy is so damn cute and funny. He is also hot as fuck. Trent has a way of making me swoon. He always had a way of pissing me off but I still love him. And Clarissa. She kicks ass. She is strong, independent, funny but she always pissed me off. Lol. But, together, you feel the heat, protection, and respect between them.

Overall...This is not just a story filled with sex. It’s about discovery. They all have new aspects to explore when it comes to life, love, and happiness. I believe this is why the book was longer than most. It’s not a lifestyle you just enter on a whim. Especially when three people are involved. Three people that care about each other very much.

4.75 stars for - Their Famous Dominant - book four in the Office Intrigue series by Nicole Edwards. This is the book I have been waiting years for as it features the movie star Trent Ramsey whom we met a while back in the Club Destiny series. He has made numerous casual appearances in almost all of the series Ms. Edwards has written and it is finally time for his HEA. Hold on to your seats because Trent decided that while he has always known which female he has been wildly attracted to he has also decided to explore new found desires towards the one man in his life who he trusts implicitly. Trent’s book is a MMF ménage that is some of the sexiest stuff Nicole has written to date so reader be warned you may very well combust while devouring this one.
Troy Shelton has been Trent's loyal assistant for the last three years going above and beyond whenever needed all for the man he calls a friend. While whispers and rumors have long circulated about the two of them being romantically involved Troy never gave any thought to them being possible. Troy who is openly bisexual can appreciate how attractive his boss is, but he has no understanding of the alternative lifestyle he leads.
Clarissa Tinsley is the perfect submissive and has prided herself on it for years. Yet she still can't find the right person to take her on and become her full time dominant so she has held herself back and only played with people she feels safe with. Clarissa still has fond memories of the magical midnight kiss on New Year's Eve by the elusive man she sees all over the tabloids. So when her closest friends set up a business meeting with a potential client she is shocked and delighted to find him as the one who shows up. Getting to know Trent on a personal level is going to be very interesting if she is willing to submit to this famous man.
I absolutely loved every single bit of this story from start to finish except for the epilogue. I am hoping with Zeke's book right around the corner we will get a better sense of closure though. The story was beautifully written and weaved in between all three characters seamlessly to give you a true feel of togetherness. With Zeke and his boys up next I hope the Office Intrigue series has no end in sight!

Nicole Edwards is one of my favorite authors and I’ve read nearly all of her books. I was looking forward to get Trend’s story who made a guest appearance in the Club Destiny series. I have enjoyed the other books in the Office Intrigue series, but I could not connect with this installment, there were too many inconsistencies in my eyes.

Trent is said to be a famous actor worth 600 million dollar. I would expect him as a businessman to have some employees managing his wealth and as an actor to have a publicist to deal with the press. But no, he only has a PA who works his appointments on a tablett and he himself deals with the business.

His PA, Troy, has worked for him for the last three years and still does not know how to organize moving a bachelor pad within two hours??? A PA in such a position should be able to do anything. Troy suddenly (after three years!) smells Trent’s cologne and wonders which brand it is and whether he may afford it??? He comes from money and gets paid well so that should not be a problem.
Troy was my favorite of the three always sweet and giving.

Clarissa was an enigma for me. Sometimes she is sassy and knows exactly what she wants but on the other hand she is not able to assess her own situation. She is a struggling contract lawyer and has to think more than a month about a very lucrative offer from a PR firm in Chicago. Apparently she doesn’t have strong work ethics: when she awakes without Trent she is miffed – he left me -, well he is already working; successful people don’t sleep in. As a trained submissive she is the ultimate doormat, a trait not estimated by dominants.

In my opinion Trent is not a very considerate dominant. Instead of instructing and guiding the novice Troy about D/s he demands it and leaves it to Clarissa to show him the ropes. Trent demands to be called Master instead of earning their respect and trust by building a relationship.

Once Clarissa has a bodyguard the paparazzi disappear - really?

I liked very much the guest appearances from characters of the previous books, this crossover allows glimpses in the lifes of beloved characters from the connected series.

Overall not my cup of tea, maybe the next one will be.

Audiobook

Performance: Charley Ongel is the female narrator that brings all the female characters to life. She spoke with efficiency and her performance was perfect. The tone of her voice was ideal for this role. This is by far my favorite performance by Charley.

Tor Thom is the male narrator that brings to life all the male characters in this story about BDSM. Tor has a deep masculine voice which is ideal for portraying the dominant characters. This is my favorite performance by Tor.

This is a Character driven story with multiple points of view and a dual narration performance. I was impressed with both performances. Tor being the voice of a dom and the male sub was stunningly sexy. The skill to act these scenes with word perfect clarity was pleasure pleasing. The dual performance brought the eroticism to life. The sex play is intense and the vocal performance was just as intense.

The screenplay was written well for these narrators to perform these scenes. The dialogue had a smooth flow allowing the narrators to bring the script to life. The dialogue was descriptive with commentary from all three characters.

Overall: These characters mixed business with pleasure. Easily done since their lifestyle was immigrated with the business. These are not broken characters who chose this lifestyle from a traumatic past. They are professional career minded characters who enjoy the control of the BDSM lifestyle.
Nicole took an unconventional relationship and combined it with the conventional relationship standards.

Story: Clarissa is a well trained submissive. However, her skills went far beyond the call of duty. She was in self preservation mode guarding herself from getting too close. She’s looking for a dom who can control her sexually, yet not to the point of overpowering her. Trent is a well trained dom who exudes control and power. He’s looking for two subs who he can Master. Troy is the middle man who is easily swayed between men and women. This was a provocative story about M/M/F sex play. This trio broke the normal standards of a typical conventional relationship.
The kink was mild sex play in comparison to FSOG. I’d identify it as soft porn not too hardcore.

If you have read any of the book in the Office Intrigue Series from Nicole Edwards, you have met Trent when the other characters go to the club. He is the owner and I am so excited that we get to read his story. Trent has it all, except for love really in his life. He has the fame and the fortune and has worked hard for all of it. He is also a Dom without a sub. But he isn't so set on finding a submissive. He know exactly who he wants and that is Clarissa a woman that he has known for years and not been able to get out of his head. There is also Troy, his assistant that has worked by his side for the last three years. But he doesn't want them separately he wants to dominate them together. I loved all the characters in this book and I loved that it was a menage story. These three fit together so perfectly it wouldn't have been right for them not to have all found each other. This is a book that you do not want to miss. Nicole Edwards wrote the first menage book that I ever read and I am always so excited to get my hands on another one she has written.

Trent Ramsey is one of the most famous actors in Hollywood. He is a self made millionaire with all his start up ventures he has invested in, silent partners in businesses and now he owns 2 of the hottest BDSM clubs, one in Dallas, Texas and the newest one in Chicago, Illinois.

Trent met the beautiful Clarissa Tinsley, 4 years ago at Club Destiny's Devotion. She is the one submissive that he can't seem to get off his mind.
She is the perfect submissive, wanting to do whatever it took to please..... a little too much. She knows what she wants, but she is reluctant to let herself open to the possibilities of what Trent is offering.

Troy Shelton has been Trent's personal business assistant for the past 3 years and is unaware of Trent's BDSM lifestyle. He has feelings for Trent but thinks that Trent could never have feelings for him. That is about to change. Once Trent introduces Troy to his club, Dichotomy, he sets in motion his plan to convince Troy and Clarissa that he can be the Dominant they both need in their lives.

I have read all of Nicole's books and I love how some of the characters she creates, crossover to the new series she writes. I think reading the Club Destiny series here, helps the reader understand the backstory to this series. If you haven't read the Club Destiny series, don't fret. You can still read this as a stand alone and enjoy.

I really liked this book even though BDSM is not my favorite genre. I honestly was not a fan of the last book, only because some of the BDSM scene's were a little too much for me. I wasn't sure about this book, but I would have to say it's my favorite of the series so far. As with all Nicole's books, the story line is what makes the book for me. She keeps you wondering what the character will do next and keeps you wanting more when you are finished.

I absolutely loved this story. We’ve all been waiting for Trent’s story, and I was a little disappointed when Nicole said the Club Destiny series was complete. Fortunately, Trent did get a story, but in a new series. Yay!!

I don’t want to give any spoilers, but there was so much going on with an array of people outside of our main trio. I’m really looking forward to proofreading them all!

Back to the main story. I loved Trent for knowing what he wanted, and making a plan to get it. He’s the highest-paid actor in Hollywood, rich beyond your wildest dreams, sought after by movie producers, and he’s even sat in the director’s chair a time or two. He’s no-nonsense, and doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him. He’s wanted Clarissa for years, and when he finally decides the time is right, he’s determined to get her. I adore him.

Troy is Trent’s personal assistant, and has been for a few years. He’s a loyal, hard working, and great at his job. He’s had a few recent issues going on, but what he finds out about Trent is nothing in comparison.

Clarissa, is a self-employed lawyer, trying to make her way back from a professional setback. She’s been attracted to Trent for a few years, but knows the feeling isn’t mutual, so she admires him from afar, and puts most of her focus on building up her client list.

This was a complicated, intricate tale, and it was told beautifully. Trent, Troy, and Clarissa are brought together through different avenues, but their joining was engineered by control master—and Dominant—Trent Ramsey. I loved it.

Now, I’m waiting for the next book. I know what I want it to be...

I say this because this is the first book in the series that I have read and I did not feel as if I was missing out. However now I want to go back and read the other stories since meeting the characters in this book.

This book is about Trent Ramsey, a character we have seen in previous books by this author but now we get him all to ourselves. He is looking for more in his life than just his acting job, and he is looking for someone specific to spend this time with. Well, maybe more than just one specific person, he is looking for two specific people. Troy Shelton and Clarissa Tinsley. Troy is his personal assistant and Clarissa is a lawyer and known submissive. And Trent being the dominant he is wants both of them in his life as his submissives.... permanently. And what they have to go through to get there is not easy. All three of them have to take an in depth look at their own selves to decide what they want and if this relationship is it. Trent, Troy, and Clarissa most definitely have chemistry but they all wonder if it can last.

Ms. Edwards knows how to write hot, panty melting stories between characters, no matter the number or gender of everyone involved. This book is no different. And reading this book is like reading more than one book because of the length. She goes into detail and emotional depth of all involved to really make the reader feel like they are experiencing every little nuance just like the characters. I greatly enjoyed the story and can't wait for more.

This book is Trent’s book. We met Trent in the AI and Devotion series. Trent is the Hollywood movie star who is into the BDSM lifestyle. We are introduced to Troy who is Trent’s assistant and who Trent has crushed on for a while (unbeknown to Troy) and we meet Clarissa who met Trent on New Years four years ago kissed him and has wanted him since. Little did she know he also wanted her. Trent is a man of action! If he wants something he goes after it and gets it or figures out what has to be done to make it happen. Trent waited and finally got tired of waiting for her to come to him and he took matters into his own hands. It was a very rocky beginning because Clarissa was not used to a Dom to keep her because she would unknowingly top from the bottom. She did this with Trent and he called her on it. Once she realized what she was doing she tried to figure it out and move forward. Troy is a bisexual and has lusted over Trent for years. When Trent started to make his feelings known he didn’t know what to make of them because as far as he was concerned Trent was as straight as they came and had never been with a man. Troy had NEVER seen the club side of Troy or been to any of his clubs. When Trent took Troy it began to open things up for Troy and he discovered things for himself in that he was a true submissive. To say it was rocky during the discovery faze is an understatement! This was a good story of the discovery and understanding along with the chemistry that was off the charts. It is a stand alone however I strongly suggest that you read the others in the series as the other characters make visits. This is another great read by this author.

I received this ARC for an honest review. This is an excellent Story! Trent Ramsey is a famous Movie Star, handsome, rich, success businessman and a BDSM dominant. He realizes that in order to be happy he needs not only one submissive; but he needs two submissives.

Clarissa is a struggling lawyer. She and Trent had met 4 years previously at a BDSM club (in the novel “Perception” – part of the Club Destiny series). When Trent & Clarissa met, the chemistry was instantaneous and electric. Trent felt that he wasn’t in a good “head space” at that time to pursue a relationship with Clarissa, but he never forgot their New Year’s eve kiss.

Troy has been Trent’s personal assistant for 3 years and has help to manage Trent’s world. Troy is bi-sexual but has not tried the BDSM lifestyle. He is attracted to Trent but believes that Trent would never be interested in him. Trent realizes that he has feelings and an attraction to Troy.

Can the three of them form a lasting relationship? Can Trent be successful in dominating both Clarissa and Troy at the same time? Can each of them get passed their insecurities? Can Clarissa and Troy adapt to the loss of privacy that life with a celebrity entails? This novel is full of hot sex and tender moments. The developing relationship between Clarissa and Troy is sweet and tender. They realize they need each other but they need Trent as their dominant in order for this ménage relationship to work. Nicole Edwards is an excellent storyteller and I enjoyed how she incorporates old characters into her new stories. A Must Read!

THEIR FAMOUS DOMINANT is book 4 in the Office Intrigue series and although there's awesome characters that often reappear from the previous books, you can jump right into this story with no problems.

Here's the gist:
TRENT: the Dominant; a famous actor (hence the title!); seeks control in every aspect of his life
CLARISSA: a seasoned submissive; wants a Dom to love but is afraid of commitment or being hurt
TROY: the assistant; bisexual but has never tried the D/s scene

I'll be honest, I found some parts dragged a bit but I think it's mostly because I was so freakin' excited to get to the steamy parts! I knew that when these three came together, it'd be explosive and I was not disappointed. There was so many little facets that made up this triad and Nicole Edwards did an excellent job of putting the parts together to create a "master"piece (<- see what I did there?)

I understood and even admired Trent's need to control his life. I could absolutely see how Clarissa would become so afraid to put her heart on the line. But the winning character for me was Troy. YES! He was funny, laid back, sexy, supportive, charming. Troy was that special icing in between the two yummy cookies that held everything together. You know...the one you just wanna lick?!?!

Seriously though, as with all of Ms. Edwards' books, this one has a lot meat, a backbone and an actual story. Told from all three POVs with a sweet yet sexy ending for Trent, Troy and Clarissa AND an "oh that's HOT" moment for a future character! I voluntarily reviewed and read this book.
