I love this series and have all the books separately published. I was excited to get the series in order but was disappointed in the changes.
Some of the editing enhanced the work and the missing content wasn't really missed. Winning streak is the exception. Eliania and Kane still meet. Eliania mother is still a royal pain. In the original story Nana Steele has a very large presence and the ending is understandable. In the revised edition she is barely mentioned and people will wonder. Plus some of the best texting between Kane and Eliania is :proof: gone. This book missed the mark. I love Alice Wards work.

Review of Rookie Mistake
Having It All
They had everything and then they had nothing, because without each other, none of it was worth it.

High school sweethearts. First love. First everything. That’s what Calvin and Whitney were to each other.

Calvin has been picked up in major league baseball. A starting pitcher for the NY Beasts. Everything is about to change. He’s hitting the big time and his girlfriend is leaving everything she knows, to be by his side.

New city, new life, money, women and opportunity. Their perfect little bubble is about to bust.

When you went from having nothing, to having whatever you want at your disposal, it’s easy to be sucked in. You lose site of everything that’s important. And all that’s left is emptiness. Instant gratification and living every fantasy seems like it would be fun...right?

Calvin and Whitney learn the hard way how badly fame and fortune can tear you apart and leave you with nothing.

This is the story of finding fame and losing focus on what’s really important. Calvin and Whitney will have to fight their way back to each other, because in the end love is all that really matters.

Review of Ace’s Wild
Ace is crazy as ever; partying, drinking, women and baseball. He's still a star with the NY Beasts but time is not on his side. Ace has been hitting it all a little too hard. His life is starting to spiral out of control. The only stability in his life is when Holly comes to NY to visit. Being one of the oldest guys on the teams is like trying to outrun a ghost. He's doing his best to keep up with the young guys, but age is taking it's toll. Ace, willing to do whatever it takes, sets himself on a path to destruction.

Holly is a good girl with a tough past. She has a soft spot for Ace and sees beyond his jerky facade. She's only ever claimed to want is a no strings arrangement with Ace. But what they have seems to be teetering on the edge of more. At least for her.

Watching these two start out as bedfellows and develop into more was beautiful. Their chemistry has always been molten hot. Seeing the softer side of Ace and being witness as he conquers his demons made him more human and likeable. I always enjoy a series that interconnects so that I can catch up with past characters. I look forward to more of the NY Beasts.

Review of Hard to Catch
Traded For Love
Todd Morris has just been traded to the NY Beasts. No one seems to be too happy about it. Calvin Malone’s the pitcher. Todd had a fling with Calvin’s wife, before she was his wife, while they were broken up. Calvin is not over it. Things are about to get heated!

Katrina has just been hired by the Beasts to work on their image and social media. Her job is to keep them out of trouble and make the fans see them as more than just a bunch of rowdy, party boys.

Todd sees Katrina and it’s game on. He knows exactly what he wants and he’s going to let her know. Katrina feels that same attraction, but this is her job. She doesn’t want to jeopardize the job that she needs. Plus, she has a secret and getting close to someone means sharing her secret. However, protecting her family has to come first.

Katrina tries to stay away, but Todd just pulls her in. These two can’t keep their hands off one another. Sneaking around and keeping their relationship a secret is getting complicated.

This story is hot and steamy. Their connection is something they just can’t hide. However, getting through all the obstacles to be together is going to tough. Catching up with Calvin and Ace settling in to family life is like coming full circle. The NY Beasts are boys becoming men, once they meet the right their better half!

Review of Winning Streak
She turned out to be more than just his luck charm. She became his everything.

Kane is first baseman for the NY Beasts. He comes from money, but that's his secret to keep. All he wants to do is play in the major league for the next five years, before he has to run the family business. He is a good guy, from a good family but he's not ready to settle down just yet.

Eliana comes from a whole different kind of upbringing. A narcissistic mother, who has her own daughter, call her my her first name. She always reminds Eliana what she sacrificed for her. Luckily in the case, her daughter is the complete opposite. Kind, caring and dedicated to helping others.

Kane spots Eliana on the street feeding homeless people and their pets. And he is intrigued. And upon following her to see what she was up to, he ends up meeting her mother. And so the story unfolds. In an effort to save Eliana from that horrible woman, Kane steps in as her "fake" boyfriend.

These two are now in a fake relationship. The start may have all been pretend, but once they get to know each other, it's no longer acting. The chemistry is real. The heat between these two is unstoppable. However, just when it all seems like smooth sailing, their are a whole lot of bumps in the road.

We also get introduced to Nana and you just can't help but fall in love with her unfiltered wisdom. Another great read from this author. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Review of The Dom Vs. The Virgin
A slow burn romance that brings the heat! He's a dominant, she's a virgin. He's about to teach her how he likes it in the bedroom, but she's going to show him that love is real and unconditional.

Emery is a small town girl from West Virginia. She has not had an easy life and likes to keep her past private. She's been left in a situation where she's struggling to get by and then she gets a phone call that will change everything.

She's now working in production on a new reality show. It's featuring the world's most eligible bachelor Rhett Hamilton, owner of the NY Beasts. Rhett is the elusive owner. Often seen with a different woman on his arm, but other than that and his success as an adult, his past is a mystery.

Rhett is not really interested in doing the reality show, but since publicity is great for his team, he agrees. He is an intensely private man and plans on keeping it that way. Rhett is all about control. He likes a woman who can submit to him in the bedroom. He's never believed in love and is really only looking to have some fun.

When Rhett and Emery meet, sparks fly! He is intense, but Emery does not back down. He wants her and has no problems making advances. Emery definitely feels the attraction, but is doing her best to resist because she really needs her job. Until, resisting just isn't an option because not being with Rhett is worth all the risks. However, to really be together, both of them will have to open up and be honest about where they come from.

I was hoping that book five would finally bring us Rhett's story and it did not disappoint. This story was full of heat and intense chemistry, as well as twists I ever saw coming. I loved all of these storylines because each one touched on pertinent issues we hear about every day. A great series full of hot sex, sexy ball players and dirty mouths.

Had to leave a review

Had to turn on my hot spot so I could leave a review for this awesome book bundle. First off let me tell you how pleased I was that all the books had very different plots. The characters just came to life so wonderfully. I even stayed up late to finish a couple of them. The only complaint I have is to me the ending in every book seemed rushed. Definitely recommend , loved them!

Disappointing

Calvin is a problematic hero. He lets everyone push him around and just hurts Whitney over and over again. There's also sexing up other random women after he tells Whitney "it's not what it looks like". The random women in the book were also really sexually aggressive and always rude to Whitney. I guess all that to say the story was a bit too realistic in its portrayal of a bad boyfriend.

Bravo

Books are hard enough to write successfully but to pull off an entire series without at least one dud in its mist is nearly impossible. However this series was tackled beautifully from one book to the next. Nana truly was the glue of each but most importantLy friendship, support, eventual honesty and love made it all WORTHWHILE!!!

Awesome series of baseball beasts

Alice Ward writes explosively and with such intensely passionate male characters with their counterparts of feisty women. This series was full of heat and chemistry. Each one spanning into one another beautifully. Great read.
Especially loved Rhett Hamiltons story, a perfect ending to an awesome write up.

I love this series of books!! I had read Winning Streak first, and then found out about the series of books. These guys in the beginning don’t seem to have many redeeming qualities in the beginning, however, as you move through the series, these men show themselves to be men worthy of the women they find.

A bargain

This is a great bargain bundle. I love sports romances and these stories are all great. Although they don't have much to do with baseball, which is ok. They are each interesting and romantic.

Rookie Mistake
This book definitely contains triggers. It has flawed characters behaving badly until they learn better and are emotionally able to commit to a single person. I thought this was very realistically written. Calvin and Whitney are a young pair of high school sweethearts who are suddenly thrust into the limelight. Neither of them have faced any serious hardships and their relationship hadn’t been tested either. With stress and temptation everywhere around them, I’m not surprised at the way everything fell apart. I wasn’t a fan of the drama that takes place while their relationship is broken, but it makes sense. I actually wish we could have seen more of them once they were back together, but I have I feeling I’ll get that in the next book in the series.
Ace's Wild
A lot of my feelings are the same for this book as for the first one in this series. There are several different kinds of triggering situations in this book. Again, I thought most of the Ace and Holly’s reactions were very realistically presented. I’m not completely on board with the way their friends-with-benefits relationship is portrayed, but I think it’s amazing the lies we tell ourselves to justify our own bad behavior and that of the people we love. I really appreciated the way the authors shows us how this pair breaks through: that it doesn’t always work the first time and that there’s no shame in asking for and accepting help. I do think the secret baby angle, was just a little bit more than was necessary, though.
Hard to Catch
This is my favorite in the series so far. There were a lot fewer significant triggering scenes in this, and the lack of any major other partner drama was a nice change. Todd and Katrina fit together like two puzzle pieces. His adrenaline-junkie tendencies help to encourage her to take a few more risks in her everyday, and her wide-eyed innocence about risk-taking feeds his need for those adrenaline spikes in a much less death-defying way. I think one of the parts of the story that I liked the best was seeing Todd and Calvin have their ‘come to Jesus’ moment and pull their heads out of their rumps and finally start working together. Hmmm… is it odd that I’m a little more invested in the relationships within the team than with their romantic partners?
Winning Streak
Okay. I have a new favorite in the series. I laughed, I cried. I “awe”d, I sighed. There were even a few tears, but that might have been because I was laughing so hard. (By the way, I adored Kane’s nana. She deserves a book of her own.) I loved Kane. He seems to have the head on his shoulders screwed on better than the heroes in the previous books of the series. Eliane it awesome even though she doesn’t really know how to deal with her mother. In her place, I don’t know that I’d be any better prepared to deal with the woman either. Together, this pair are like fireworks and ice cream: sweet and explosive. And perfect together.
The Dom vs. The Virgin
The previous books in this series did not prepare me for this one. Compared to this story, those others were practically romantic comedies. This book took me though such emotional highs and devastating lows, I might be a little numb for the next several hours as my brain and heart settle out. I feel a little dizzy, and also completely bereft now that it's over. Rhett and Emery have such deep scars. I shed more than a few tears reading about them. They’re exactly what each other needs. I just wish, for their sakes, they hadn’t had to go through the pain that brings them to the point where they meet. And while Nana Steele doesn’t get her own book, this is almost as satisfying.
I received a complimentary copy of this book.

I purchased a copy of The Beasts of Baseball series book 1: Rookie Mistake by Alice Ward and this review was given freely.
A test of love, commitment, and morals. When new college graduate and baseball pitcher Calvin gets called to join the major league team The Beasts, he and his long term girlfriend Whitney move from rural Indiana to New York City. While all the team and some of the groupies are featured, the novel focuses mainly on Calvin, Whitney, her best friend and one of Calvin's idols, Ace. The seemlier side of baseball including daily drinking, multiple and at times public sex partners, status seeking groupies, and drugs are all featured as unhappy and vindictive playboy Ace causes one scene or scandal after another in an attempt to take everything away from Calvin. This is a best if over 18 novel which is dark, at times frustrating and sad but ends happily.

I purchased a copy of The Beasts of Baseball series book 2: Ace’s Wild by Alice Ward and this review was given freely.
A new year and a new season starts this reformation of a bad boy full length steamy novel with a happy ending. Cake baker Holly finally leaves her abusive father's home and moves to New York to be closer to Whitney and to The Beast's shortstop Ace. This novel focuses on the rocky and steamy friends with benefits romance of Holly and Ace but also shows the caring side of Ace that he hides under a crass, sexually voracious, alcohol and drug using, womanizing playboy persona. Raw language and vivid descriptions fill the pages as we read the story of self centered Ace having to accept the world no longer revolves around him and that there is someone and something out there besides baseball.
4 stars
I received a free copy of The Beasts of Baseball series book 3: Hard to Catch by Alice Ward and this review was given freely.
Ironically Calvin's rival, the adrenaline junkie, thrill seeker and rebel, Todd Morris returns to the story as the new catcher of The Beasts. Steamy and action packed, this novel takes you through Todd's adjustment to a new team and a new love. Katrina's baseball legend father loses everything to gambling thrusting her into the working world as the Beast's publicist and into the arms of a man who gambles with his life. Best if over 18: erotic, steamy, BDSM is introduced.
4 stars
I purchased a copy of The Beasts of Baseball series book 4:Winning Streak by Alice Ward and this review was given freely.
The Beast's first baseman, Kane, is a player on and off the field which does not express the image his California billionaire matriarch grandmother wants for the future heir to the family business. Wishing to make his dying grandmother happy, Kane agrees to clean up his image thus involving veterinarian wannabe and humanitarian Elaina in a scheme of fake girlfriend turn fake fiancee that satisfies both their prestigious families. This love at first sight full length romantic suspense has it all: a slightly unfiltered and demanding grandmother, a vindictive self-centered mother, irony, humor, attraction at first site, a billionaire bad boy who is also chivalrous, cyberstalking, murder, and a caring team make this an action packed and enjoyable read. Best for over age 18. The BDSM is heavier in this novel than in Hard to Catch and the violence more graphic.

Book 1:  Rookie Mistake
In this first book we meet Calvin and Whitney, childhood sweethearts who have been each others one and only for the last 9 years. As he becomes a major league baseball star pitcher for thus new team he finds himself getting caught in the limelight and totally makes her fill unwanted. Things happen and one thing lead to another that forces them to call it quits. Claire then realizes that he lost the beat thing that has ever happened to him and he tries to find a way to make it right. Through it all, the ups, downs and the in-between they work it out and find that happiness they once had. So far I'm loving this book. On to the next one.
Book 2: Ace's Wild
In the first book we met Ace Newman and Holly Summers so in this one we watch as their lives take so many twist and turns that kept us in so much suspense that we needed to know how it turned out. Holly loved a life that no young girl should have to endure. Her father was a mean man and she felt it at every turn. Ace was kind of from a similar background. As we watch their romance bloom it's evident that they are the other half of their soul. Throughout the book we see his mistakes and her always there no matter what. The perfect story. Simply Amazing. Now onto the next one.
Book 3: Hard to Catch
Todd Morris and  Katrina Delaney are a couple who have their fair share of ups and downs. In their story we watch as she fights for everything she's got to just figure out how to maneuver in life. Since losing what her dad made from his gambling problem she finds its hars. Todd was once involved with a mother players girl before they got back together but finds himself falling head over heels in love with Kat. Their story proves that love can be found and it just takes time to get there. Excellent read!  Onto next one.
Book 4: Winning Streak
If you thought that this book couldn't get any better, you'd be so wrong. In this story we watch as two people who find themselves in a sticky situation become partners in ceime. Kane hears what hee mother says to her sweeps in and saves the day. One thing leads to another and families are meeting fake proposals are being made and threats starts. Kane and Eliana show us that no matter what happens in your life, you will find what it truly means to actually find it. They are the ultimate couple that even I wish I could find. It has a little bit of everything and can you say...hot! Now let's see how this series ends.
Book 5: The Dom vs. The Virgin
In the final book we watch as Rhett finally tells us about his life growing and why we never really knew anything before he was 18 years old. He was a product of a very bad man and didn't want anyone ever knowing that. So Ata young age he become from rich, very fast. He proves that love can come in all shapes and forms but it's the love and kindness 9f one woman that brings both their lives full circle. Emery is a sweet, caring, loveable and a 23 year old virgin who experiences so many things in a short span of time. She had to endure so much growing up that no one should ever deal with. Their first meeting is what brings their world as one and no one can break that bond. I loved this whole series. It's one of my favorites and and can't wait for more. I give this book 5+ stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy.

Starts a bit Decadent - later Stories Highly Enjoyable

1. Rookie Mistake – 3 stars
Rookie pitcher Calvin is newly brought up to the major leagues and becomes a “Beast”. He is tempted by teammates to partake in the decadent lifestyle they enjoy. When his girlfriend Whitney joins him, she does not appreciate being ignored and catches him in compromising situations. Hard for me to like any character here early on as it is all about living in the moment.

2. Ace’s Wild – 3.5 stars
Ace is the major instigator in “Rookie Mistake” so again hard to relate to this character or find redeeming qualities. Holly sees the man behind the party-goer due to her family situation, and continues to support Ace. When he escalates his addictive behavior things definitely come to a head.

3. Hard to Catch – 4.5 stars
Todd is traded from the Mets to the Beasts when his search for an adrenalin rush is broadcast and he is caught breaking his contract restrictions. Katrina is daughter to a famous ball player who has lost everything due his gambling addiction. She is given the job of social media manager for the team to present a positive image – perfect for her as she grew up with baseball. These two try to fight their attraction due to the “no fraternization” policy; Katrina cannot afford to lose this job! This story has likeable characters and the relationship is scintillating and relatable.

4. Winning Streak – 4.5 stars
Kane is the Beasts first baseman. His family expects him to join the family company – but has given him 5 years to pursue his dream of playing ball. When he sees a young woman Eliana feeding homeless men and their dogs, he is intrigued and follows her. Later at a gala he overhears Eliana’s mother being cruel and steps in pretending to be her boyfriend. As events occur, that escalates to fake fiancé and more. These two increasing care for each other and may no longer be pretending… an exciting, sensual journey of these likable characters.

5. The Dom vs the Virgin - 5 stars
Rhett has a mysterious beginning, and was not in the public eye until creating the baseball team the Beasts. When he is talked into begin on a dating show “The Catch” in return for $1M to his favorite charity he is not thrilled, as he does not necessarily believe in love. Emery is out of options. She is back in her hometown for a memorial to her best friend Ryan. Ryan was both an NFL player and gay. Emery posed as Ryan’s girlfriend. Upon his death she can no longer afford their apartment, and upon returning home she sees her father’s hoarding is worse than ever, and she cannot even open the door to her bedroom to check on it.

Receiving a call to be production assistant on the dating show is a lifesaver. When a last minute proposal knocks out one of the competitors Emery is promoted to contestant with the idea that Rhett would boot her next. Rhett is smitten. Emery continues to make the cut. Can these two damaged souls find a relationship under the scrutiny of a reality show? Best one yet!!

Very good bundle of romances on a baseball team, the New York beast (and I do not even like the baseball :)

Rookie’s mistake ****Simple but poignant. It is the debacle of a young couple whose man (Calvin), baseball player, has just been named for the first time in a team of the first league, and gets carried away in the vices of easy money, and lust, until he lost himself, being at the bottom of the hole and trying to get out.Very good characters with a good description of the baseball's world and the game of tabloids, at the expense of the players. Whitney's character is just as interesting as Calvin's, even though he is primarily the one speaking in the story. Each one of them evolves and the young couple still innocent at the beginning, changes to become the one who is armed to face this world of sharks.

Ace wild: ***** A rather contrasting account of darkness, tenderness, addictions, love
Very good continuation of the story of a secondary character then in the first volume, Ace. But it's darker, because we discover and understand better the addictions of Ace, his relationship with his family, his management of glory. But few people realize this, except Holly, who can go through her walls but not at the expense of herself. Should we change, adapt to the other, or push the other to grow?
This story is both tender and dark, and I found it amazing.

Hard to catch: ***** Good story that mixes romance, secrets, violence and media.
This is a new face of the risks of glory for top athletes: keep secrets, manage your image
Part of the story is cute and sometimes sizzling, the other (the secret part of the couple's families) is tense but equally captivating.

Winning streak: Kane *****
Excellent story where internet takes a big part in the management of privacy. I loved the two characters who support each other without knowing each other until they pretend to get engaged. But the dramatic events around them, the violence and the attacks become more intense such that even the FBI is obliged to intervene. Excellent and quite unexpected in the scenario.

Dom vs virgin: *****
So much better than the title ... the characters are excellent. Emery finds herself alone after the death of her fake boyfriend who was gay. They were protecting each other, but they were not married and although he was a great professional football player, she has nothing left and is alone in front of an ex-family who leaves her with nothing and humiliates her. She is hired in the team show crew of a "Bachelor" type reality show in which Rhett has been signed for a charity. But he does not seek love, He is a domineering and from his first encounter, he discovers in Emery, a need to go through suffering to free herself and he's irredeemably attracted by her. A magnetic attraction in suffering.

This is a great time to get 5 wonderful books and a great price!

Rookie Mistake
This book was a little hard for me to read because it was close to home. My first love/high school sweetheart was a baseball player (pitcher even) who did eventually make it to the show. Unfortunately, our relationship did not. The way Alice wrote about groupies was spot on…and not just for the players, but the coaches too. It’s really disgusting what you can witness. Which leads me to believe that Alice Ward does her research before writing a book. Although my story did not have a happily ever after ending (although looking back now, it probably saved me a lot of heartache in the long run), the characters in this book do.

Ace’s Wild
Wow. Ace went from a character I really disliked from the first book to someone I cared about what happened to in the second. That’s good writing. I really wasn’t expecting to like this book too much because of the nature of the relationship between Holly and Ace, but amazingly enough I really did. Again, really good writing. I’ve read a few of Alice Ward’s books now and have to say have not been disappointed with any of them.

Hard To Catch
I was excited to read Todd’s story. He was such a good guy from the first book that I really wanted to see him get his happily ever after. Again, it’s good writing and I enjoyed reading every page. I was happy to see the two main characters overcome their differences and of course to see Luna get her comeuppance. I’m looking forward to reading Kane’s story in the next book.

Winning Streak
Kane’s story was one I was looking forward to because he was another “good guy” who I wanted to see get his happily ever after. His story is a little bit different because he is not the typical baseball player. He comes from a wealthy family who expect him to take over the reigns of their corporate empire. (Nana Steele makes her appearance here and proves that she is one tough cookie that you do not want to cross.) The struggles that this couple face are a bit heavier than what the other couples have had to face so far. This helps to give this story a unique feel so you don’t feel like you are reading the same story over and over. All in all I enjoyed this book.

The Dom vs. The Virgin
So finally we get to see Rhett, the coach get his happily ever after. I have to say that I was very happy to get to see Nana Steele show up in this book. She was one of my favorite characters in all of the books. She really does take the cake! I liked this story because it really is another one that is not typical. I was worried that all five stories would end up pretty much sounding the same, but that wasn’t the case.

This review is for all 5 of the books in this series. I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review. I did read all of these 2 times (one with Kindle Unlimited) and enjoyed revisiting with "The Beasts of Baseball."

The Dom vs the Virgin, 5 stars:

I loved reading this book. There's comedy, angst, and romance. I had a few tearful moments reading this and I really could feel the emotions of these characters. Emery & Rhett are the main characters in this story. You feel sorry for Emery at first and then you're proud of how she handles herself and her past. Rhett is the owner of the Beasts, the baseball team. I love the character of Nana Steele which is mostly like a matchmaking grandmother and provides some of the comedy.

Rookie Mistake, 3 stars:

I liked the book; however, I do have issues with some of the characters' morals in this book. The book is written well, I just personally don't agree with people (Calvin and Whitney) loving each other but willing to have sex with other people just because they aren't currently together. Calvin and Whitney do "grow up" eventually and manage to overcome their differences which is good.

Ace's Wild, 4 stars:

I liked this 2nd installment in Alice Ward's The Beasts of Baseball much better than the 1st book. Yes, Ace is hard to like with all of his problems, but he actually redeems himself (thankfully). I still have trouble with all of Ace's addictions (my personal opinion) but this story is well written and will pull your heart strings.

Hard to Catch, 4 stars:

I liked this installment of The Beasts of Baseball. It's better than the first two in the series as I'm not personally offended with "cheating" and this does concentrate on the two main characters and building their relationship. I have to agree with some of the other reviews that the heroine could've been a bit stronger and not so wimpy but overall a good read.

Winning Streak, 5 stars:

The books in this series just keep getting better and this one is just that, better! I loved the story of Kane and Eliana. This actually had a bit of suspense rolled into the story as well. I enjoyed reading this and hope there will be more of these in the future!

Each book in this series is a terrific one! Alice really knocks it out of the park!!!
Rookie Mistake: Calvin & Whitney have been together since high school and are each others firsts. When Calvin gets signed to a MLB team and moved to New York, the attention starts to get to him. When Whitney finally gets to town to live with him, it gets to her, too. Can they overcome the changes in each other and make their relationship last, or will it tear them apart?
Ace's Wild: Ace plays hard on the field and parties hard off the field. When Holly comes into his life, he starts to question a lot of things. Will she be enough to get this wild man to clean up his act? Holly went into her relationship with Ace thinking she could just be friends with benefits, but then her heart got in the way. Can she sit by and watch what he's putting himself through?
Hard to Catch: Todd is furious when he gets traded to the Beasts and has to work with Calvin after loosing Whitney to him months ago, but then he meets Katrina. Katrina feels like her world is falling apart when her dad looses it all, so she's super thankful when Rhett offers her a position as Social Media Manager with the Beasts. Will these two be the next couple headed down the isle or will her family's secrets keep them apart?
Winning Streak: When Kane bumps into Eliana on the street, he's so intrigued that he follows her through her morning and to brunch with her mom, then can't help jumping to her rescue and becoming her fake boyfriend. Eliana is so thrilled to have this handsome fellow help her out that she ends up becoming his fake fiancé to make his Nana's dying wish come true. Will they make it to the alter before real life intervenes?
The Dom vs. The Virgin: Rhett is blindsided when a network approaches him about starring in a reality show similar to "The Bachelor" but agrees because of the million dollar pay out to a charity of his choice. Emery is similarly surprised when she gets a call to work as a production assistant on the show, only ends up a contestant when one drops out. Will these two hit it off or strike out?
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and am leaving my honest review--but I own 3 of the 5

This is one series that everyone should have, hot alpha men of baseball and the women who bring each and every one of them to their knees. There’s steam oh my is there steam and all the stories are ones that I couldn’t put down. My favorite is The Dom vs The Virgin and since it was in this box set I had to buy the whole series even though I received an advanced copy.
The Dom vs The Virgin - Wow...wow..wow...Alice Ward does it again with another book worth more than 5 stars and this time we finally get Rhett's story, the owner of the Beasts. He is a private man and when he gets bulldozed into doing a reality show that can be described as a speed dating contest he doesn't expect to make any connections until he meets Emery. Emery is also a private woman and comes from a small town that was cruel to her because of who her father was and then because of a secret she kept about her best friend who had passed away. When they first meet the attraction is there and when she is picked to be a replacement when one of the girl's leave, things heat up between the two.
Rhett has a secret that has haunted him for years and even changed his name to keep his past a secret, Emery is the only one who he has opened up to it and it only makes their connection stronger.
A great story that may have you shed a few tears, the steamy steamy scenes that will melt the ice in your water that you will need to drink, laugh or chuckle at some of the antics the girls will do to vye for his attention, and of course Nana who you can't help but want her as your grandma. The author did an amazing job of writing the chemistry between these two that is jumps off the pages at you and I loved Emery from the beginning she was a strong woman and refused to lash out or belittle others even though they were doing it to her, she was kind and had compassion and didn't stoop to their level. I also fell in love with Rhett, even though he was all alpha he was still compassionate and wasn't afraid to show his feelings especially when telling his story to Emery.....highly recommended read!!

There are lessons to be learned from these books. They are all great reads and very well written.

1. Rookie Mistake
There was a lot of love in this book, but also a lot of sadness and weakness and confusion on both the characters' part. There was a character that was very egotistical, but you don't find out the reason until nearer the end of the story. It was a very enlightening story.

2. Ace's Wild
This male character is so troubled he covers it up with his personality. He is deeply troubled. Come to find out he has three addictions he finally deals with; drugs, alcohol and sex. The female character loves him unconditionally, but doesn't admit it until later in the book. She makes a deal with him and he finally straightens himself out. It was interesting to read about these addictions and what people actually go through with them.

3. Hard to Catch
The female character in this book learned her lesson from holding back a secret she never should have. If you truly love someone and they are honest with you, you should be totally hones with them or there will be a big trust issue. They are in love, but neither one of them is willing to admit to themselves or one another until the end of the book. This book was well worth reading.

4. Winning Streak
I loved this book so much. I can't begin to tell you the amount of emotion that's in this book. Happy, sad, anger, suspense, crime and love, etc. It's all there. Couldn't put this book down even if I tried. There is no way to even explain this story, except to read it, so please do.

5. The Dom vs The Virgin
This was a terrific book. I loved the character of Nana. She was very amusing and true. What the two main characters revealed made my heart cry. It was so emotional and so real. It broke my heart. But in the end love prevailed.

Rookie Mistake
Heartwarming romance surrounding the great game of baseball. Calvin and Whitney overcome obstacles to go from high school sweethearts to everlasting partners I love. A great start to the series that I can't wait to read more of.

Ace’s Wild
The angst between Ace and Holly made the twists and turns of this book well worth the read. I have never seen two characters that were created better for each other than these two. The romance was a rollercoaster but such a fun ride. A great read.

Hard To Catch
Alice Ward writes about baseball with sex and steam. Katrina and Todd were two unlikely characters to fall instantly in love, but between sex shops and rollercoasters they certainly became soulmates. This book had it all, humor, angst, love and baseball. No better combination.

Winning Streak
Loved it! This book had it all...hot alpha baseball player, sweet sexy heroine, sex tapes, psychotic mothers and a romantic fake proposal. What more could a reader ask for? How about true heartwarming attraction and ending with soulmates. This book could not get any better. Kane and Eliana are a couple that made it through every curve ball thrown at them. I highly recommend this book.

The Dom and the Virgin
Another fantastic Beast baseball story!! Rhett and Emery are an unlikely pair that are thrown together in a reality based bachelor/baseball team television show. Both characters have deep emotional baggage that once is out in the open can make or break their relationship. The characters were so lovable and the storyline while hysterical at some points, also had highly intense moments that kept the reader on the edge of their seat. Great job Alice Ward. I cannot get enough if these men of baseball!!
