Young Alasdair is a warrior with a hidden past. He was freed from slavery by his lord, Yngvar Hakonsson. In return, he dedicated his life to Yngvar. Enigmatic and private, Alasdair asked only to seek glory alongside his companions — Yngvar’s Wolves, elite warriors both honored and feared by Norse kings. Together the Wolves have wrested bloody victories from overwhelming enemies. Alasdair has all he could ask of life. Yet his past surfaces in the most unexpected place. At a trading post he discovers his cousin in a slaver’s cage. When he undertakes a daring plan to free his cousin, Alasdair unleashes more than his kin from imprisonment. Family tragedy draws him back across the sea to Scotland where he will face an enemy as wicked as the Devil himself.

Jerry Autieri

Jerry grew up in a snowy New England town, then decided to move to an arid desert town. Along the way, he got married and started a family.

Jerry has been writing most of his life. He loves fast-paced, pithy stories, hopefully with a few good sword fights sprinkled within.

A writer, gaming geek, and corporate flunky, Jerry spends most of his time in cubeville. He dreams of leaving it behind one day.

Useless

This book adds nothing to the Saga. Difficult to think why this has been written.
Wouldn’t recommend to buy and would not buy it myself.
