While this is a step-by-step guide that would probably be good for beginners, I think it makes a false claim to be "How To Write Your First Best Selling Novel". It does start to touch on research and utilizing Amazon to reach the best seller list, but then quickly drops it. The thought was there, but the execution not completed.
I am a new author, and I employed the audio method using my local library app to go through the book. The entire audiobook took only 28 minutes. I loved the concise format with ample examples. Easy to follow for beginner authors. Thanks Helena for this gem.
This was pretty basic, but expected for only 28 minutes on audible. Its more of an intro to writing a novel, maybe for younger students. I would be surprised if someone could write a best selling novel using this guide but who knows.
This would be a good introduction to writing for middle grades. It's typical of the things you might learn in English class by high school in a good school system. It appears that the author is a nonfiction travel writer so this seems like a strange deviation for her, but it's a good succinct overview of the beginning basics.
The title is deceptive.if you took a class on fiction writing for teens, this could be most of day one. It's not bad, but if you get a best seller after reading this book, then this book is coincidental
