So..... Is this the end?!? I enjoyed this for all the action that Rice packed into a super short book, but I have so many more questions! I would read another 200 pages to find out who those hooded boat people were. That part could have been an adventure that everyone was united for... But now I just wonder if they are truly coming back? Another book or a spin off series?
If it is over, it was as good of an ending as I could have hoped for. The book picked right up where the last left off, and was so action packed that I read it in one hurried sitting. How can you put it down when every chapter is a POV switch with a cliff hanger?
I also appreciate that this book was proofread - some of the others were clearly not and I like to just be able to enjoy the book without getting hung up over typos.
As believable or unbelievable as the entire 8 book storyline has been, for the most part I enjoyed the series. I do feel like some parts foreshadowed an even worse villian coming, but what could be worse? What does Violet's future hold? 4 stars for leaving me guessing
loved this series as with all morgn rice books :). this story line was really good i loved the idea and plot, friendships, and even the land. however the whole series felt rushed after the first couple books. i wanted so much more detail. it also ended abruptly i felt. i got to about 2 hours of reading left in this series and the main battle had not even happened yet. then after the battle, it was just over. it also ended on a cliff hanger. who are those shadow people? why do they want violet? who all is left to rebuild? who does lucas end up with? so many questions and it felt like such a sudden end. it could have easily had 2 more books. at least.

The A Throne For sisters series has been a fast read for me.
Pros - This series is an exciting, thrilling and exciting one! It keeps me curious about what comes next, what will happen next. Kate and Sofia has been through a lot of ups and downs and their brother Lucas added a different touch to this series! So much has happened in their lives. It just keeps me going for more
Cons - On the negative side, the author writes it in such a way I always seem to forget that Sofia,Kate and Lucas are merely teenagers. Secondly, things happened way to fast in a matter of only a few months in the series which is not normal.
In conclusion I love this series, hoping for more :))
Finally done this series. I had a terrible time. I kinda thought I’d read some of her other books when I started this but I’ve since changed my mind. I don’t necessarily need a book to be good to enjoy it but The way she talks about SA is truly abhorrent to me. There was actually very little of that in this particular book but you do have to wade through a whole series hearing the worst takes on it imaginable to get here. There’s also just a lot of dropped threads? Kate killed a bunch of people? Is prone to getting possessed? The shadow stone randomly works now? Violet has a secret destiny? Most of the characters don’t get mentioned in the epilogue. I guess we don’t care about any of that. It doesn’t feel like a satisfying conclusion to the story. It almost feels like a cliffhanger but I see no evidence that there’s going to be a continuation. It’s just weird. What did I suffer all this for?
Morgan Rice, creates incredible realms filled with characters you love and some you really hate. A CLASP FOR HEIRS is the action packed finale of a great series. In this quite short book , Sophie, Kate and Lucas journey to find their parents who give each of them an individual task to accomplish in order to restore their kingdom. The Master of Crows is decimating their country looking for Sebastian and Sophie’s daughter Violet. Meanwhile Henry d’Angelica crowns himself King and also raises an army with support from the nobles of Ashton. Will Sophie, Kate and Lucas return in time and how can they survive against all these forces?
Great ending to the series. Not sure if there was another small cliff hanger at the end, maybe for a future series? I recommend the series especially if you want something quick to read, most of the books are under 200 pages and the writing makes it so easy to fly through and leaves you wanting to order the next book immediately (which was the case with me every time 😆 )
Possible spoiler I’m definitely feeling a reading slump. Like can I really read something else right now? I wanted that perfect happy ending. Not there. I’m feeling…down…frustrated…wanting a book 9. But that was the end. I’m left hanging… how does her story actually end? Ugh. So I had to start a new book. ‘Happy people are annoying’. Yep that’s the book I’ve started. Bc I’m not happy with that ending. And I’m annoyed that the writer was happy to end it that way.
Now what to read bc this autobiography is not working.
Fast paced, magical end to a series! This is the culmination of the Throne for Sisters series. Morgan Rice has created another powerful novel that grabs the reader from the first page. I know this is supposed to be the last book in the series but I want there to be another one! Sophia, Lucas and Kate are in the ultimate battle of good and evil for the future of the world. If you haven’t read the other books in the series you will definitely want to. It’s a page turner!
This book and series came together as so far one of my favorites. The world creating and all the characters had my heart from the beginning. The sisters and all their triumphs and accomplishments. The new sibling and what he brought forth to the family. The idea of their parents and the cousins that stood beside them to the end. How their powers manifested and some burnt out. They each over came and conquered. I will now work my way into the next series of Morgan Rice.
I gave this and the other books in this series 5 * but they deserve more. To be separated from your parents and then punished for it, makes me so angry. It took quite a while but it worked out the best it could. Thanks Morgan for this amazing series. You are the absolute best.
This is my review for the whole series which "ends" here. The series is full of characters and plots, full of betrayals and rabid loyalties, hate and revenge for power and self-advancement. Hard, but unfortunate realities of life throughout history into today. Only the use of magical powers is fantasy in this story.
It seems that all is well at the end of this book, but I hope there is more to come. Sophia, Kate, Lucas, Sebastian, and all the rest give their all in this book, and in this series. It is a wonderful journey that I hope doesn't end.
A predictable but enjoyable ending. It ended how it should've. I felt sorry for Kate and lucas losing their partners. Look forward to the next series and hopefully it will take me on another fantasy journey.
Morgan Rice never fails to deliver a book that pulls you into the story so completely that you can’t put it down! This book was amazing and showed the love of family above evil. I highly recommend this series!!!
The last book is well written and doesn't leave off unfinished as some series do. Overall this series was really good. I think book 4 and 6 were the best. My biggest complaint is that book one was really just a long drawn out prelude to the storyline. I'd read the whole series over again though
A captivating story that had me purchasing the next book in the series before I finished the current one! Even though the story is a fantasy, we all can relate in some way to each character and their struggles throughout the series.
Great series! The beginning of this series was slow starting, but hooked me in. This last book did not disappoint. I’m so sad it’s over. The rightful heir resides as the rulers with their loved ones near.

An okay ending to the series, though I would have liked more closure. The final battle was chaotic in a way that was more confusing than satisfying. If this had been Sophia's story alone, it would have worked better.
I really enjoyed the characters and the storyline. The love for family. The ups and downs of self-awareness and loss of self. This series has everything. I am disappointed that it has stopped There was so much left on the table. However, it was worth the experience of engaging in the story.
