What a pile of drivel! This was painful to read, it was so repetitive, it felt like I was stuck in the movie Groundhog Day! In places it was so awkward to read as it didn't flow and my god it was boring. How many times do we have to go through Sydney having a nightmare? We get it she was abused but come on this is so boring to read every chapter, even the sex was repetitive and robotic, Sydney cried at the drop of a hat and all I felt they did was drink bottles of water and eat cheese pizza how on earth there is another three books worth of this story is baffling, needless to say I won't be reading any more.

Sucked me in

So this was my first run with Drew Sera. I will be honest, I almost abandoned ship on book one a few times. This is mostly an editing issue for me but it was also the over use of certain words. However!! The story it’s self has sucked me in. I love this softer side ( not in a vanilla way) if BDSM and the community.

I think the 50 shades of the world has painted a very one sided picture of the BDSM world. Drew Sera has shown the loving/caring parts of ‘the lifestyle’. It offers a new perspective. I’ve already purchased the next box set.... I have high hopes for Sydney, I hope this series ends with a confident and cared for young women, cos right now I want to shake her and tell her to stop letting him win with her brokenness.

Such an emotional read. Colin and Anthony finally find the one woman who makes them whole, but she is so utterly broken that it is going to take all of their strength to put her back together again. Each and every page dripped with horrendous emotional and physical devastation that at times I had to put the book down. This is an honest tale of abuse and misuse of power only to end up with love and affection. I cannot wait for more!!

Connection and understanding is the only thing both Anthony and Colin want to achieve with Sydney, but in the end they so much more. Through patience and love the three gain a bond that will be tested. I cannot say enough about this book. Drew Sera writes with such emotion and flow that the dynamics of the story turn into a movie in your mind. His masterpiece unfolds so effortlessly that the reader cannot help but get drawn into the plot. I could not put this book down!!

Can you ever heal from the abuse from your past? Or do you just need to move forward and start over? With acceptance and love comes strength and as Colin, Anthony and Sydney get closer, their bond becomes unbreakable....or so they thought. Another overly emotional ride that I did not want to get off. I was locked in from the opening pages and could not put this book down!!

These are the first books I read from this author and i truly enjoyed them. I plan on reading the next box set of this series.
First off I love this genre to begin with but what I found from this author was he put a lot of emphasis on the sub and how attentive, tender and loving the doms are. It made for a very sensual story. There are some dark components to this story which I also liked but it made me enjoy how the doms dealt with it even more.
I also appreciated the support system surrounding this V.
Loved the books!

This was a well written, well thought out story.

Not my cup but of tea. The girl/sub was too damaged, too needy & too generic to be truly interesting. The Doms were sappy, overly romantic & afraid of being truly dominant. No Dom worth his salt would play with a sub so damaged before she had SERIOUS psychological care. So, for a kinky romance I supposed it’s ok & raunchy. For a true BDSM story it is severely lacking.

Amazing read.

Multiple POV, mostly from Colin, Anthony and Sydney. Lots of sexy times that could be graphic. Lots of triggers so beware. Many emotional moments but the first three books lovingly and realistically portray a M/F/M relationship. All three books ended with cliffhangers. My biggest concerns were with regards to typos/grammar issues and the repetitive nature of some scenes that were supposed to serve as reminders but were really unnecessary.

Five stars!!

I loved these books!! I loved how Anthony and Collin helped Sydney find herself. Also, the camaraderie between the men that are like brothers to one another. Lastly, the sex scenes are very descriptive and beyond hot!

I really wanted to LOVE this book. I thought the plot was a great new idea. It could have had better execution. There were a lot of places that were just repeats. But I did love Sydney, Anthony and Colin. With a good editor this book could be amazing! The potential is outstanding!

A BDSM lifestyle long long story.

Ddsm. Menegre. Loads of PTSD. The writing has a lot of repetitive facts. Its like they wrote down the characters' every thought. It also talks a long while to read. 😂

This was my first dip into dark romance, and I was hooked enough to buy the whole series and finish it in 2 days. It was not an easy read for me, I’m not a fan of abuse but it wove into the story nicely and made sense. Love Drew’s style and stories.

I loved this series ,never been so wrapped up with the characters. Fell in love with Sydney, Anthony and Colin.

It was hard to read about some of the things that Sydney had to endure. But have loved her journey with everyone at Irons.

Don’t waste your time

I got about 2% through the book and returned. The writing is abysmal and the characters are stiff and poorly written. Not worth the effort.
