If you are in the mood for an erotic romance with a nice combination of plot, heat, and character development, then The Perception Game is for you. This is the second book in the author's Games People Play series, and it can be enjoyed as a standalone. Cadence Vonn is a new author for me, and I look forward to reading the first book from this series, which is highly rated.
Elementary school teacher and erotic book author Camille Weatherby enjoys a little exhibitionism with her sexy times. As a result, one night stands are her thing and she never pursues a long term relationship. A hot rendezvous on the rooftop with a masked millionaire changes her life forever.
Garrett Gerard is the almost president of his family's very successful company. His malicious father and his past sexual dalliances are the only things that stand in the way of him taking over the reigns. He has no choice but to show his father that he is a one woman man, so in order to ensure his promotion, he asks Camille to be his fake girlfriend. Camille is in a bind as well, the very conservative school that she works for will fire her on the spot if they find out about her books, or somehow get a glimpse of her preferred sexual proclivity.
This is a hot, sexy read! Both Camille and Garrett enjoy a little kink, and Garrett is well prepared to provide the sexual novelties. Their fling evolves into much more and both of them are quite surprised that they have loving feelings for one another. This book is filled with lust and love, and I really liked Camille and Garrett as individuals and as a couple. Overall, this is a meaningful romance with a dominant hero and a heroine that is super likable.

If you're looking for a hot, fun, quick read, then you won't go far wrong with The Perception Game.
What starts out as two strangers meeting and having fun together, quickly turns into more when both Camille and Garrett find that their jobs are under threat. They need to pretend to be together as a 'real' couple, so as to avoid scandal. But, the more time that they spend together, the more real it all becomes.
I really enjoyed this read. There were a lot of steamy bedroom scenes, but that wasn't all that it was about. The chemistry between the two main characters worked well and the romance that developed between them was certainly believable.
I liked both Garrett and Camille and they seemed a good match for one another. In many ways Garrett is the typical millionaire, playboy, alpha of similar books. He definitely had a softer side. Camille is a strong woman in her own right and more than a match for her partner.

Camille is a typical woman now days. She doesn't rely on a man for her pleasure. She takes the bull by the horns and takes what she needs! Garrett not used to women taking charge has a HOT encounter with a pseudonym that Camille uses named Alexandra. She comes off as a strong woman with a need for some kink and someone voyeurism. Garrett shows her a new way to view things. "It's all about the perception". It was a fast read and the characters are strong. There are some twist and turns and Garrett has a lot headed his way!! I didn't realize that this is a second book in this series. May have to read the first one to see if I am missing something. Hmmmm....?? Maybe there is more pieces of this puzzle. Well, off to the next read!

This is an excellent book! I really loved the teacher connection and the way she controls her life. She is a strong woman, which makes the book really exciting, as we often get alpha males, but not often a woman who is so in control. I also loved the turns in the story, that gave us a chance to see the all sides of exciting romances.
The characters are interesting and kept the pages turning, for me. I was able to read the book really quickly, as I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. The characters added to that, as they had a great level of detail, which really brought them to life and made and excellent connection between them, as they explored.
Overall, I found this a brilliant read. I highly recommend it if you are wanting something hot and exciting.

Whoo this book is steamy & hot alongside some shady going ons with both main characters at risk from their ‘relationship’.
This book was a quick read therefore I am surprised I managed to get very involved with the characters and was rooting for them . Which to me shows the skill of the author. I very much enjoyed it & would recommend to others.

The Perception Game is a sultry connection between Camille and Garrett. The story draws you into the lives of both characters as they struggle to stay independent of life’s challenges and their growing need for one another. Hang on for some steamy, hot romance.
The author continues her Games People Play series by introducing another great erotic romance. The stories build and bring us along on some sexy adventures. Well done, once again.

Camille is sure the only way she'll enjoy sex is one night stands and the possibility of being caught. But she meets Garrett. They connect for a night. The sex throughout the book is hot between the main characters. Complications arise and they need to fake an engagement. As the relationship builds, the two begin to depend on each other. If you like fast paced stories, this is for you. I like the authors style and look forward to more books.

I really liked this steamy read. Camille is a school teacher who doesn’t want a relationship and is an exhibitionist. Garrett is a bad boy millionaire with a dominant side. Garrett must turn into a one-man woman or lose the opportunity to run the family business. Garrett and Camille fake a relationship and get more than they bargained for. Fun, fast-paced and hot and steamy. Great read!

This book sizzles with lots of steamy scenes around two people who knew what they wanted, until they realized that what they really needed was each other. I’m usually not a big fan of third person POV, but this one was written well enough for it flow really well. There’s great world building and the characters are easy to get to know and get invested in. It’s a fun read that I would recommend to my friends who read the same genre.

This was my first book from Cadence Vonn and it's a keeper. It's a very fast pace, fun and sexy story. Camille and Garrett were very loveable. The erotism was HOT without being too overbearing. This is a must read. I'm definitely going to check out her other books.

This was just ok for me. The writing didn’t flow well - scenes seemed rather stilted at times. I wasn’t a fan of either main character - I didn’t find anything likeable about either one.

I received The Perception Game for free in exchange for an honest review. I have to say that I enjoyed it. This was my first book that I read by Cadence Vonn. I will say that it was a very sexual story and much of their attraction/relationship is based on that sex. Obviously it evolved into something more as these romances always do. It was an enjoyable quick read, but not a deep read.
