One thing this author will do is write memorable characters, The way I laughed from the start of this book to the end is a gift. LaToya Nicole’s pen is unmatched. The rollercoaster ride she takes you is pure genius. I’m trying to figure out who is pettier. Is it Capone, Blaze or Phantom?

Omgoodness, this book was so good! I don't know where to start first. Kalina was living a double life, and David did everything he could to shelter his daughter, Kalina, from both the streets, and his past, but little did he know, his worst nightmare had already surfaced. Everyone had feared Vicious and his legacy, but what was the possibility that Roulette would have had the same effect in the streets currently? What most didn't know was that Kalina and Roulette was the same person, and she was a female.
Capone was Vicious's connect, and the person that Kalina not only gave her virginity to, but who Kalina had felt in love with. The heart wants what it want, but what happens when you find out that the person that you're in love with, doesn't know your parent's past, and it becomes a burden between the love that you two have for each other, and only one of the two people know? Kalina now has to deal with either a broken heart, or release her father's skeletons. Capone is in for a rude awakening, if he's aware of the real connection between Vicious, and Capone Sr, because Roulette is coming for answers.
I read this book in one day, it was so good! I would highly recommend this book. I felt like I knew each and every one of these characters. The phrases in this book, had me in stitches, because I've never heard of anyone say such quotes. I would quote one, but I know my review wouldn't get published. The book is full of action, it will make you laugh out loud, and have you hanging on to the edge of your seat. I've never read anything by this authoress, but I look forward to reading everything she has to offer.

Oh Mii Gosh!!!
I'm so hyped up but I'm going to calm down so I can drop this review right quick. I want to first say that I think that Kelly was murdered to make Vicious leave the streets and I do think that Vega was involved. I think that it's Capone's mom who's trying to kill Vicious to avenge her husband and that is was Lisa with her at the table. I hate Fat Back had to die and not be there for Boo/Breezy anymore. I can't believe Kalina/Roulette running a whole city and Vicious doesn't even know. I'm glad things on track for Glitch and Breezy. I can't wait to see what happens next with Capone and Roulette since she thinks he's using her to get revenge on her dad. She went to the compound giving off straight head shots until she got to Capone and then asked him was he feeling lucky. #TeamRoulette

WHAT THE...😳
My first time reading this author's work and I must say she did a great job with this book. Very well written, great character development and storyline. I was hooked from the very first page. I love the mystery of people not knowing who Roulette is and the fact that she is a woman just makes it even better. A woman making boss moves that many men have taken credit for. But when the truth about the past is revealed, Roulette is truly on a mission to showing the world she is definitely her father's daughter and no one is safe from her wrath. I've had my suspicions about Capone's mother setting the chain of events in motions. Will Kalina come clean to her father about her other identity, What will be Capone's fate. How will this story end. Can't wait to find out in part 2.

Great Read
Lisa seemed sneaky to me from the beginning. I was not too shocked when she turn out to be scandalous. I'm surprised by Vicious being a veteran of the streets didn't figure out Lisa game and that he haven't found out who Roulette really is. It was sad what happened to Fat Back and Boo felt guilty because her and her father wasn't really on speaking term's. All he wanted was for her to not turn out like her mother. Kalina won't be able to hide who she is much longer. Sooner or later that truth is going to come out. Capone better watch his momma because she's up to something. I believe she is trying to use him to use Kalina to get to Vicious. Especially after Vicious finally told Kalina about his past but I don't believe Capone knows what is really going on.

Let me start off by saying this author is funny. The amount of comical lines in the story kept the story going. Everyone had jokes and they actually made me laugh. From Capone & Shitz to Kalina & Boo. This book was crazy. It was so much going on. It’s crazy how Kalina was an entire different person that her dad never knew about. She had the game on lock. I knew from the first time something was up with Rebecca she was to concerned about Kalina and it cause red flags to go up. I really did like this story

Roulette and Capone
Ummm!!! I don't know how to feel about Capone but I already knew something was up with his mama because she kept pushing the issue with Roulette. Honestly I don't believe Capone has anything to do with cause he barely cam stand his mama but at the end of the day she is still his mama. I am glad Breezy aunt going to be a whore anymore cause I was starting to think she had a problem. Now some how some way LaToya writes the saddest deaths and funerals but she always has me in my feelings. I definitely love her though!!!! Great job!!!

Good Job
If you aren't ready for this ride then I suggest you take a minute and brace yourself. The writer gives as good of a story as you can get,from the beginning you are going to be hooked. We get to get peek at some old friends and to say goodbye to some old ones.I loved the concept of the daughter taking over,but there are some times where she is just annoying!I know it comes with maturity but if you a "boss" then conduct yourself like one. Overall this was and is a really good story and there are some moments you are going to just laugh out loud.

So many different theories! I know I don’t trust Capone momma farther than I can kick her! I don’t completely trust Glitch that out of town story isn’t flying with me! I already didn’t trust Lisa from jump. I really hope she don’t roulette his behind before either of them can get some answers! Everybody is doing to much! She shoulda can straight with Vicious he may of just surprised her smh! Welp now to wait for part 2! Outstanding as usual

Oh my goodness that cliffhanger was like wow... I bet Capone doesn’t even have a clue that Viscous killed his father and here Roulette go jumping off the handle... I’m glad that Breezy was able to pull through after losing her baby and father... it’s so many secrets that need to come to light but so many people with hotheads... Definitely can’t wait to dive into the finale

😳😳😳. I figured I knew who was behind this. Feelings and emotions got these young adults caught up in their parent’s beef. I hope they get out of this unscathed.
Listen Breezy and Roulette have me in a choke hold laughing at their a$$es. Omg when Breezy got caught in Glitch’s house, prayer and then said she was on base😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I swear I can’t breathe😂😂😂😂😂😂. The comedy in this book had me weak. I loved the humor and how it kept the serious stuff calm.

Ready for pt 2
I loved this book. It was a great mixture of drama, action and comedy. Roulette is playing roulette her life playing with Vicious. Capone is the best person for Roulette, I just hope things aren’t what they seem. That ending was crazy. The book was enjoyable from the beginning. I can’t wait for pt 2.

First off Breezy and Roulette are some baaaadddd females !!! This was an awesome read as always i think i put this book down twice (one of which to charge my phone) but as soooonnnn as i could i had to get right back into it !!! Yasss! Daughter of a Hood Legend was everything! Of course LaToya had my blood pressure up and I was in my feelings. It was also funny as heck and all the characters just had something about them. I love how crazy Roulette is and Capone is my kind of guy, lol! I excited about or2 and I can't wait to read what's next to come.

All I can say is wow! I wasn’t expecting that ending at all. I just hope Roulette does not kill Capone, because those two need to be together. Wow!!!! Oh my this book will have you laughing , crying and rethinking all your thoughts. I really thought shitz was the snake but all alone it’s Capone mom. Boo had a hit but she was wrong about Capone. Part two plz let Capone and Roulette come out on top!!!

The storyline was very creative. Enjoyed some of the characters, but I dunno who to trust in this one. Carpones character is cool. Roulette needs to stop with all the secrets. I honestly don't trust Carpones mother. I'm hoping Carpone & Roulette get it together to take out the threat together. I'm anxious to start party 2.

I enjoyed this book. I would recommend it to others. It is a book filled with never ending drama and suspense. The characters are well developed and so is the story. This author always provide books that are thoroughly entertaining. If you haven't ran across a Daughter of A Hood Legend, pick up this book and get ready for an enlightening experience.
