This was a great overview of the band from the beginning until the end of the Head Full of Dreams tour, "the end of a chapter," "the end of that first stage of the band" as Chris Martin said. Lots of pictures and background stories for each album. If you're going to do both, I'd recommend watching the documentary "A Head Full of Dreams" before reading the book, as it will give you a framework to fit the more detailed information into. Either way, it's all great stuff about one of my favorite bands of all time.

A perfect book for Coldplay fans. Debs Wild was the scout who discovered Coldplay in the early days. The band says if it wasn't for her, they wouldn't be where they are today. Coldplay have never forgotten that and you'll see some of the signed albums and things they've sent her over the years. As such, she makes an excellent co-author for this defining book.

There is a wealth of information in here, and it feels like this is a good companion for the A Head Full of Dreams documentary. It's also full of amazing pictures and rich in colour (the book title is very apt) - its gorgeous inside and out.

It's amazing to see how the band started, and how with a lot of hard work, and a great team of people (many of whom were friends), they grew into the global superstars we know today. Definitely a recommended read for learning more about the band and their incredible journey!
