Can 10 pounds of training fit into a 5-pound bag?. Impossible right? Especially when time is tight and expectations are high. Yet, in today’s time-constrained workplace, organizations must develop their workforce faster and faster if they hope to compete and achieve business results. In Same Training, Half the Time, top trainer and instructional designer Kimberly Devlin distills the strategies essential to designing, developing, and delivering better training in half the time. There is no one right way to achieve better training in half the time, but one thing is for sure: Bad training hurts everyone. The strategies and resources in Kimberly’s new book will help you cultivate a seat at the decision-making table of your organization, develop new partnerships and better relationships with your learning sponsors, and deliver effective training that is enjoyed by learners. Same Training, Half the Time: Delivering Results for Busy Learners will up your game whether you face a time crunch or not.
A must read for anyone designing or facilitating training. Kimberly taught a class I attended through ATD and this book was an incredible supplement to that. I highlighted at least 1/4 of the book and plan to use as a frequent reference and touchpoint for myself.
