Knitting Pattern: Premature Baby Hat and Booties Set
KNITTING PATTERN
Knitting pattern for a premature baby striped hat and booties set. I designed this pattern with the neonatal department in mind as it is very easy to put on but it would equally be beautiful on a little reborn doll.
The set is knitted in stocking stitch with a 1x1 rib as this will stretch to allow it to cover baby's head and ankles comfortably. It is suitable for those with basic skills as well as the more experienced knitter.
Size: hat - 10.5 inches across once sewn up.
booties - 3 inches along sole
It is knitted flat using Sirdar Snuggly 4 ply with 2.75mm and 3mm needles and is written in English using UK terms.
