When I lived in New England I stayed indoors and wrote murder mysteries. Now, in Florida, where I can be outdoors twelve months of the year, I write self-help and metaphysical fiction.
Maybe it's the warm weather!
I travel around absorbing earth energy and doing motivational speaking.
Great who dunnit! I'm not much into mysteries, but the author surprised me with witty dialogue and engaging characters. This was the second book in the series. I did not read book one, but didn't need to in order to enjoy this one. The book was a stand alone. The main characters names were Smith and Westen which I found cute. The two are parters in an investigation agency. In this story they were only on their second case, so very inexperienced but both are very clever ladies who manage to solve a intricate theft case that even stumped the police. This read has a complex cast of characters that the author managed to creatively make unique. She also weaved in a lot of humor as well as drama that kept me turning pages. If your a fan of mystery I wouldn't pass this one up!
This is the second book in the series and Smith and Westen are no longer poor, but now rich in demand with a fan - KJ.
The Good A cozy detective story with some great one-liners.
The Bad This was more an unveiling of different lies than finding clues. What a lot of lies from this small group!
The Ugly House hunting, new jobs - old jobs, rich people and money problems - there was a lot in this book but it was easy to read and fun. I really enjoyed this female lead mystery and enjoy the yin/yang of Smith and Westen
Good intriguing story. Needs more editing, noted some problems. The murder was disappointing for this reader. Smith’s lack of emotion was also a disappointment. Still gave it five stars because the disappointments are personal preference not a reason to detract stars
