This is the 1st book in this series. It is a previously published book that used to be called Bite My Sass when kindle worlds existed. It is for adults only due to the steamy content.
This was a fun read. I really like this group of girls. Juliet and her friends are a close group. It is cool that they are all school teachers. I hope they all get stories with the Smokey Falls pack. Juliet and Roman fit together well even though they both fight it at first. I think it is cool when Juliet brings her friends into the know. Roman’s pack is funny and silly which makes it very amusing at times. I can’t wait to see whose story is next.
Violet always has unique and fun stories. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun shifter read where there is quite a bit of excitement.

This is a cute, fun story that I couldn’t put down. The characters are entertaining, and the story engaging. There is something for everyone from humor, suspense, a little bit of drama and love. I look forward to reading what happens next.

She is so done with hunky weres, she will find a normal geeky human and live a life without a mate with her 3 BFF that she met in college as her family. Only thing is they are not aware of her true nature and now they find themselves vacationing at a camp that's very close to a mating Jamboree and her hackles are at attention.
As Juliet and Ashley wait for their other 2 BFF to arrive they meet 4 very hunky firemen, Juliet immediately knows what they are....She does her best to stay away, but the geeky broody looking one catches her attention, especially when her BFF jokingly introduces them as Romeo & Juliet. The book follows Juliet and her friends on an adventure away. On there adventure they run into a pack of wolves. With Juliet being the only wolf she see what they are and try to steer her friends clear of them.
“I need a strong, stubborn mate whose loyalty can’t be broken. I need a woman who’ll call me on things when I’m not thinking clearly.” He reaches out to brush his thumb lightly across my lower lip, and I blink to regain my focus. “But most of all, I need a partner to help me lead my clan.”
However they get invited to there camp site etc. Juliet falls for the Alpha and finds her true mate in him, and her fired also finds out she is one of the other packs true mate. Julet has to come clean to her friends about who she is etc. Her mate is attacked and Juliet has to save him.

Werewolf Juliet mostly lives among humans who know nothing of the shape-shifting world, so when she and her girlfriends run into a group of male werewolves on a camping trip, no one understands why she doesn't want them all to hook up -- until she discovers that one of the werewolves is her fated mate.
So, this is a nice start to a series. Not a great book, and it's definitely rushed at times and slow in others, but I like the characters, and there's a nice bit of world building. I'm intrigued enough to want to read the other books in the series. If this book had been longer, and the author had gone into more depth about the characters, the book would have been better, but it's still a good start to a series I want to read more of.

A hands down great book. With action, adventure and romance all thrown in together. Characters are well written, the plot is good, wish there was a before like a prequel to it to talk about the mains pack life before. But beggars can't be choosy. Still a good book. Not short and doesn't end on a cliffhanger.
Juliet has all, but given up on finding her true mate. The life she lives now is filled with happiness and college work due to her human girlfriends. So when her human friends decide on a vacation. She just can't refuse. Then her wolf catches a delectable scent... will she finally find what she craved for so long?

Brilliant! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had none of the repetition that's plagued some books and none of the Sassy Ever After Romance YaY! Instead we have a story that moves at a great pace, has great depth and is full of emotion. I loved the strength of the heroine and the support the hero gave her to develop her strength. I loved this sense of humor and her glee when she embraces the world she's been thrust into. The setting is great too. I also love that we're have stories that is scorching hot . I know this is kept up in all of the books in the Sassy Ever After series. I feel like I have all of the authors I loved to read. I am so enthusiastic about reading these books.

But this book had a surprise in it that I wasn't expecting and I have read three books in this series so far and I intend to read them all. This is such a wonderful story about a wolf shifter longing and searching for his mate and doing what ever it takes to find her. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you're a fan of all things naughty, sexual tension, action and humor, this is perfect for you. Enjoy!If you love romance and in need of a pick up this is definitely a fabulous choice for your TBR list. I recommend this series to everyone who loves a good love story.

I loved this fast and fun story. No matter how strong a female you are sometimes we need to let the male take over.
Juliet ia a BBW who has always stayed away from her kind because she has never liked the dominating male wolves and she has never had hopes of finding her fated mate in her pack anyway..All they want is a romp which she is not willing to give. Her BFF's are 3 humans, but even they don't know that she is a werewolf... They all live in different parts of the country as teachers and decide to have a get together. Julliet never imagined their trip would take them close to a scenting ceremony and that she would meet her Romeo. Now she must keep her friends away from the location of the ceremony for their own protection.
Stiff and broody Roman aka Romeo doesn't think anything about the snotty female hangin with humans till he catches a whif of her sweet smell. But there is nothing he can do to keep his paws away from her and he is going to try his damnest to do it too.

This could have been cute but it flopped.
It's a nice easy quick read but none of the characters have a strong presence and I had major issues with Juliet. She starts off as a stone independent woman who wants her own freedom, turns into this wishy-washy girl who doesn't know what she wants and keeps chain gin her mind, and ends as this semi-submissive character whose strong independence from the beginning becomes a trait that makes her seem irresponsible and stupid.
Let me be clear: A woman can be strong and independent and be in relationship WITHOUT being stupid or beholden to a man. This book doesn't seem to agree.

An unexpected mating
It’s often said that love will find you when you are not looking. This book is a true testament to that. Juliet had given up on love, a mate and a family as no man was willing to be her partner. They wanted to be her alpha. Luckily a chance meeting with a group of firefighters sets her up to reach her HEA. I love how you can feel the bonds of friendship and pack forming and all the love in the air as the story moves along. I can’t wait to read the next book and see what happens with the rest of the girls and their soon to be mates.

Short but good
It is short so the story is very quick paced and not as developed as I usually like. I like that the werewolf lore is explained well in this story (not depending on the reader knowing how werewolves work). I really like the potential of this story (great characters, good conflicts, etc) but the length hindered it from reaching its full potential. It did still draw me in and I do love having those quick read treats.

Stand by Your Wolf is absolutely one of the best. I enjoy reading V. Vaughan's books and I have never read one and been disappointed. Ms. Vaughan is one of my favorite authors, she has set the bar higher with this book . I enjoyed the characters in this book. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down, that's a great story to read! What a story! It's a lovely-written and a perfect example of entertainment at it's best! There's plenty of action,romantic, suspense, shifters and fantasy all in here. Of course this story has twists and surprises that will compelled you to turn page after pages until you finished. I always enjoy the description written by Ms. Vaughan they are very vivid with details that pulls you the reader right into the story. The characters are well developed and the dialogue is fantastic and entertaining! OMG! I have to say it again, what a absolutely fantastic book! Juliet and Roman are both looking fo their fated mate. They each has felt alone in their pack. Juliet has human friends because she felt her mate wasn't in her pack. Roman is a Alpha wolf he would like his mate to be his partner as well as his mate. What must a Alpha do to protect his mate. This is the start of a life altering relationship. There is danger for them both in the woods. They don't know they have a enemy, but the attraction between them is scorching hot. But Juliet likes to take charge of things in her life and she has a secret that she doesn't think her friend scan handle his secret. I enjoyed the drama, suspence, intrigue, twist that you would never believe plus it's has steamy hot chemistry. Between the two there is an awareness that there are bonds but the tension between the characters is drawn out a bit before they are hopping in bed. I really liked the backstory. I would love to read more about them and some of the other characters introduced in this story. I enjoyed the surprise that's a part of Stand by your wolf and even though I expect something, Ms. Vaughan still manages to surprise me. I am a fan of all of the stories Ms. Vaughan writes and it's for life. This is a fantastic book to add to your TBR list .

Stand by Your Wolf is absolutely one of the best. I enjoy reading V. Vaughan's books and I have never read one and been disappointed. Ms. Vaughan is one of my favorite authors, she has set the bar higher with this book . I enjoyed the characters in this book. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down, that's a great story to read! What a story! It's a lovely-written and a perfect example of entertainment at it's best! There's plenty of action,romantic, suspense, shifters and fantasy all in here. Of course this story has twists and surprises that will compelled you to turn page after pages until you finished. I always enjoy the description written by Ms. Vaughan they are very vivid with details that pulls you the reader right into the story. The characters are well developed and the dialogue is fantastic and entertaining! OMG! I have to say it again, what a absolutely fantastic book! Juliet and Roman are both looking fo their fated mate. They each has felt alone in their pack. Juliet has human friends because she felt her mate wasn't in her pack. Roman is a Alpha wolf he would like his mate to be his partner as well as his mate. What must a Alpha do to protect his mate. This is the start of a life altering relationship. There is danger for them both in the woods. They don't know they have a enemy, but the attraction between them is scorching hot. But Juliet likes to take charge of things in her life and she has a secret that she doesn't think her friend scan handle his secret. I enjoyed the drama, suspence, intrigue, twist that you would never believe plus it's has steamy hot chemistry. Between the two there is an awareness that there are bonds but the tension between the characters is drawn out a bit before they are hopping in bed. I really liked the backstory. (Roman & Juliet): so I really like VV's paranormal books but it's been a long time since I've read them. This book was no different. Though I have to say in a side note: I'm a little confused on the TITLES of the books and where exactly they fall in which series. Goodreads has the book listed in two different series but it took a minute to find the titles of these particular books in the app. Juliet is a werewolf living away from her pack among humans. She and her human best friends take a vacation to the lake where they would camp out and on the way they run into four men. One of which she's seen before, who says they are firefighters. They flirt and one of them connects with her friend Jaden. Only Juliet knows that the men are also werewolves and her friends don't know that she is too. The story has a lot of action and not just one mate pairing. Drama unfolds between a rival pack when Juliet's fated mate has another female wolf who wants him as well and plans to make him hers. Roman is the alpha of the firefighter wolves and he's been trying desperately to get her attention but she doesn't give him a chance until she sees his wolf. The story is full of insta romance and unbelievably hot sex and cute, sweet moments. There are laughs and tears. Also an epic fight. Really good book.

I loved this story! It was a very thrilling story and I couldn't put it down!

Juliet and her girlfriends have been best friends all through college but the differences between them goes further then skin deep because Juliet is a werewolf!
The ladies decide to go camping for their vacation. At the airport they meet 4 fireman that are also wolves but only Juliet knows...they also happen to be camping near by.
When looking for marshmellow sticks Juliet & Alisha come across a male wolf who protects them from another wolf that tries to attack them. Alisha wants Juliet to fill her in on ALL the details and that means she has to share her secret!
The guys take the ladies hiking and that's when Juliet realizes that Roman is the wolf protector but the guys want to take them to Walkers Peak which is not a safe place for human girls. It's Juliet job to convince her friends that hiking time is over.....however that also means she'll have to explain everything in FULL detail later.
Will Juliet's friends still want to be friends when they finally learn her secret? What's going on between Juliet and Roman? Will Jayden give Alex a second chance?

Partiamo dall'ovvio: parla di licantropi e già il titolo suggerisce l'argomento principale del romanzo.
Sì, il mating bond. Proprio lui.
Argomento che tira tantissimo, trattato in tutte le salse.
Ero un pochino scettica quando ho intuito, intorno a pagina 10, l'argomento centrale era proprio quello.
Non è davvero niente di superlativo, capiamoci, però è scritto bene, i protagonisti non sono molto approfonditi ma sono almeno delineati (anche qui con un po' di classiconi: l'alpha bello ma sensibile, gli amici un po' stupidoni ma fedeli e pronti a diventare seri nei momenti importanto, la protagonista la classica ragazza che non trova un compagno e si è arresa all'idea di restare sola).
Ci sono scene molto dolci e qualche scena hot ben descritta.
Scopro dopo averlo finito che è il primo di una trilogia, ma dubito di proseguire nella lettua: carino ma non abbastanza da convincermi a leggerne altri 2.
Se comunque volete passare un paio d'ore leggendo una storia bellina e scritta in un inglese abbastanza semplice, questo libro è perfetto.

A fluffy, fated mates NA werewolf romance with serious insta-love and lighter than air world-building.
I wanted to give this a 3 star rating however one big issue held me back.
I simply can't stand it when an author makes it so a female's independence is somehow the enemy of the story. Essentially, whenever the FMC made a decisive, rational judgement call, the author flipped it so that, in the end, she was somehow in the wrong. The fact that she didn't just immediately obey her new mate without question is presented as a negative. A story written with that kind of message isn't something I can overlook.
Worse, the FMC starts out strong willed and independent and by the end, she's full of self-doubt. Books like these reinforce the narrative that it's okay for women to lose themselves when they find 'the One'. It's a shame because with a little more depth, this could have been a real hit.

This book reads more like a short story than a novel. That’s not necessarily bad, just an observation because the book description mentioned that this was an “expanded “ version of a previous book. Everything in this book takes place over the course of just a few days. Again, that’s fine. It just felt like the interpersonal relationships developed at an unrealistic pace. Of course, I’m referring to a book about werewolves, so unrealistic isn’t necessarily unexpected. It is a standalone story that leads into a series, but there are no cliffhangers.
I enjoyed the female main character, although the supporting female characters did not seem to be nearly as well developed. They all kind of blurred together for me. This book includes graphic scenes of sex and violence. (And without spoiling anything, I feel like the violence detracted from the story. Tension and drama could have been achieved so many other ways. )

A Quick Light Paranormal Romance
V Vaughn is a new-to-me author and I found this story very easy to read. I loved the premise for this tale and the various aspects; the secret paranormal identity, holiday fun with your besties and finding your true love.
The reason that this turned out to be just OK for me rather than good or really enjoyable is probably down to one main gripe - I didn't feel anything for the characters and so didn't get involved in their adventure or romances. It is very tricky for me to form an emotional connection when a story is written in the first person; I feel that there is a barrier of separation. I enjoy a story more when I'm shown rather than told what is happening. Does that make sense?
I won't be continuing with this series.

Juliet is meeting old college friends for a camping trip. The woods are great for her, as a werewolf, except none of her friends know. She's decided to live with humans since a mate doesn't seem to be in her future.
Alpha Roman met Juliet and her friends at the airport. They meet again at the campgrounds and invite the guys (who are also werewolves) to come to dinner. She's not happy but doesn't want to put a damper on her friends' fun. The fun will turn steamy for some of them. Will Juliet be one of them?

A short, sexy, and funny book! This was previously published as part of one of the kindle worlds and I read it then as well. I loved the new additions to the story and how well everything flowed. I did not put it down! Juliet meets her Romeo, well his name is Roman but he is teased by being called Romeo. Juliet did not want a mate, and pushed against it to the point of really acting like an a$$ to Roman. He wanted her but was not going to make her look bad in front of others. These two clash, then BAM steam explodes. She is a stubborn alpha female and that may actually cost Roman his life. Ok, this is an HEA and that really wouldn't happen but it really was a very tense situation.
