OH My Gosh! Kyann and her four beloved Kings are waist deep in good magic, bad magic, immortality, bloody battles and the dirty sneaky tricks played by the Stalwart Emperor. Katy Haye nails the magic, the fantasy and the romance. What a fabulous rollicking ride! Better than any carnival screamer ride. I’m so glad the series isn’t ending with this book. Kyann is my favourite character but the Kings are sooo gorgeous. Lucky girl...

I can't believe this wasn't the end. This book in the series ended with such finality that I am left wondering how there is enough for another book in this amazing series. This was the climax and now things should really be calm and less exciting, but I am sure that Katy Haye has something else in store for Kyann and the four Kings.

Finally, book 5! Kyann and the kings are kicking ass! This series is so interesting and in each new book there are new challenges. I kept this one unread until book 6 was out so I wouldn't have to wait to read the ending. I'm off to find out if Kyann gets her kings to stay!
