This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the first through the third books in the Red Ledger series. I cannot believe I did not know about this book until the Goodreads giveaway. I loved this book so much, and I could not put it down. This book is about a man that was paid to kill a woman, but it turns out the woman was his old love that he forgot about. I do not want to spoil this book for anyone, but this book is action with romance. I won a sign copy of this book from a goodreads giveaway, but this review is 100% my opinion. I will also have to pick up the other books in this series. I would also like to "Thank" Meredith Wild the author for signing the book and putting in an extra book.
I re-read this book by listening to the audiobook. I loved the audiobook. The first book to me a minute to get into the story, but once I was pulled into the story I loved every minute of it. The characters where so great. The twists and turns in this book was so great. There was so much action and suspense in this book, and the romance was fast and steamy. Great read.

A woman has lost her love and her love has never died. Literally. He's just lost his memory and doesn't remember who he is or that she even exists. When under contract to take her life, something about her tugs at him and he can't do it. She's the link to his past and she may be his everything for the future. However, the fact that she's still alive might cause a problem for them. Can these two lovebirds survive what's to come?

I'm loving this series. Tristan's story broke my heart and even though he's supposed to be cold and untouchable, he's quickly found a way to gain my favor. This man can do no wrong. Isabel, for the most part, was an amazing heroine, but she did find ways to irk me from time to time. It feels like their story has only just begun and yet so much has happened. I can't wait to continue with them and find out if they get their long deserved happy ending.

HOLY CRAP. Why have I waited so long to read this book? Seriously, it’s so damn good and I’ve been missing out...damn it.

The Red Ledger: Reborn is a story about a hitman and a woman desperate to find the love she can never get over, the man who disappeared from her life and took her heart with him. A man that turns up suddenly but not for the reasons she’s hoping, he’s there to follow through on a hit, a hit that happens to be on her.
This story is so different to other ones I’ve read like this, it’s not your typical hitman faking for his hit, oh no. It’s so much more than that. There’s a past in play and a whole lot more that makes this book stand out from any others.
Reborn is broken up into 3 parts and each of them will hold your attention until you’re done reading. From the moment I picked this book up I could stop, I was invested and now all I want is more, I need to read volume 2 (Part 4-6) right now and see exactly what happens next for these two characters because damn it if they’re not ingrained into my mind and heart.
This is my first read by Meredith Wild and let me tell you now, it’s not going to be my last. I have a feeling I’m going to want to read every single thing this author has written.
The Red Ledger: Reborn is dark and dirty with a whole lot of angst. It’s captivating and leaves you needing more. It’s deliciously dark and the perfect kind of book for this sexy hitman.

5 Star review of a Reborn (The Red Ledger 1-3) by Meredith Wild
I cannot believe that I have not read this series before now. This was so good, that once I started I just couldn’t put it down. This is a series that MUST be read in order. Reborn is the first 3 book in the series.
This is the story of Tristan a hit-man, an assassin, he has no memories of his past; that is until the woman who is his latest target utters his name. Isabel Foster may hold the key to unlocking his memories.
This is a dark, at times raw and gritty story that had me captivated from the first to the last chapter, as Isabel suddenly finds herself reunited with the man who stole her heart. Of course the only problem is that she is his latest target and someone wants her dead.
The drama and angst as they struggle to uncover the truth will have you on the edge of your seats. This is a hard review to write as I don’t want to give too much away.
Will Tristan follow through on the hit? Or will he save Isabel and in turn put them both in danger?
Reborn is a great example of romantic suspense and one I thoroughly loved.

This is the first volume of this series. Each volume holds three books. This series is different than Meredith Wilds usual writing. It's a suspenseful romance series and a second chance at love.
Isabel is on the run somehow she knows Tristan but he can't remember her. Isabel has not seen Tristan since he joined the army. Haven't heard from him since the letter he wrote to her breaking her heart. Why now has he found her she is wondering?
Part 2
Last we saw Tristan putting Isabel on a plane. He finally told her he was hired to kill her.
Did you think Isabel was going to get herself caught or killed by using her real name?

WOW this series is outstanding!! A must read!!💕💕How did I only heard about it now?
This series has 9 parts and all of them are released and collected in 3 books: 1.Reborn, 2.Recall, 3.Revenge.
The story starts in Rio de Janeiro, where our hero/antihero Tristan Red (Foster) is on a mission. He needs to finish this job and move to the next one. He has followed our heroine for months and has collected all the necessary information about her, to do the job to perfection.
Isabella is an English teacher, daughter of a Pentagon official, that has moved to Rio a year or so ago. Tristan doesn't know why they want her dead, but he is not here to ask questions and he doesn't care.
His life in these three years, since he woke up without any memory of his previous life, has been a killing after an other. Every job his company would commission him to do.
When Tristan goes to end Isabella's life at her apartment, he hears her call his name while masturbating.
This stops Tristan. The odds of Isabella calling a name like his right when he was going to end her life where null. He starts thinking that this couldn't be a coincidence.
Since the moment he saw Isabella's picture, Tristan felt a familiarity like he knew her from before. This was really unexpected. He starts to question the odds and if she would be the key to his past.
Tristan and Isabella are both amazing characters. I loved everything about them!
He's 27, comes from poor upbringing, she's from rich upbringing. He's a bad boy/veteran/killer on commission. He's also the biggest love of her life. Something happened years ago for them to part ways. I loved their backstory and how they met so much!!
I don't want to spoil more, because you should read and enjoy yourself the journey they went through.
This book is not only an amazing romance, but also a mystery novel. It's action packed, it has a lot of drama, secrets, amazing second characters, that will keep you hooked in every page.
The chemistry and hotness between hero and heroine is high...so I loved that part as well!
But what I love the most is the strength of their love.
Can't wait to read book 2!!

This book starts the story of Isabel Foster and Tristan "Red" Stone and will continue throughout the other books.
This was a exciting page turning book for sure that you won't be able to put down!
Isabel is still dealing with the lost of a man she truly loved a few years ago. Now working in as a teacher her loss of him is still holding her back from a relationship with Kolt. Kolt is a friend who wants more from Isabel but she can't give him more because she doesn't have it to give. When by accident she happens to see Tristan and goes running after him to find out what happened to him all those years ago.
Tristan lost time in his life and doesn't know who he was but for the past three years he has been a killing machine. Next on his list to be killed is Isabel Foster. When he sneaks into her apartment to do the job he hears her call his name. Tristan sneaks out before killing her and goes on a research spree to find out who she is. Then he goes to see her in the daylight and is caught by her. Tristan takes her with him to find out how she knows him and to finish the job he started of killing her.
Wow....just a great start to such an exciting series. I don't know how I am going to wait for the next installment in their story....love it!!

Overall, this volume starts off this series with a fast, action-packed plot. I am really excited to see where Meredith takes this story and how everything ends.

As Tristan is still coming to terms with the memories he learns from, Isabel, he worries about what it all will mean in the long run.
Isabel, her life still in jeopardy, no longer by Tristan, but by the one who ultimately hired the company he worked for to kill her. Decided to take her life into her own hands, along with what her future might hold, she takes off, with her mother's help for New Orleans.
Tristan, learns where Isabel has gone, he has also learned who ordered her assassination. He must go, find her exact location, so he can protect her at all costs.
The Red Ledger: Reborn, books 1, 2 & 3 were ALL exceptional reads, that Meredith has brought us. You must read them to understand my meaning.
PHENOMENAL! 10 stars worthy, too bad I can't really rate it at that.
This is the beginning of a series that will be "the talk of the town" for years to come. Thank You, Meredith, for your service to man kind. ☺

I think this sums up Red Ledger. Tristan and Isabel are the kind of couple that you can't help but beg the author for MORRRRREEEE!
Part 3 seemed to be so fast paced. More so even than the first two. Maybe it's because I was so excited for it. Or maybe... I don't know. Red Ledger part 3 continues the story of Tristan and Isabel and their trying to figure out who wants to kill them and why. So off to NOLA - one of my favorite places in the US.
Meredith Wild writes the scenes in NOLA so that they are extremely vivid and clear and we're able to fully visualize every moment and scene. This makes me want even more of this story and I can't believe we have to wait.

Book one- This is a fantastic start to a series, with a flow so smooth and story so good time just flies and before you know it, book one is over. It took me no time at all to be fully immersed in all that is Tristan and Isabel.
This is like second chance romance with a pretty huge twist. I feel like the theme to this story is going to be two characters who save each other in different ways. Their connection can overcome anything, it's so powerful, like they are soulmates. Also it's cool to see that in the face of scary, unpredictable situations, Isabel becomes super bada$$. She's resourceful and smart, and I can see that coming into play in future books. On the flipside, we go into this book seeing Tristan's tough side, but she brings out the squishy parts of him, even if just a glimpse.
Tons of action, suspense, and adventure are part of this. It's not just a simple little love story, no way. It's ready set go from the very beginning, a fight the whole way. And I LOVE IT.
book 2- I mean seriously, I was shocked three times in part 2. Shocked. I have more questions now than I did before and I am loving every second of this.
I don't think I've ever read a story like this, where she is the key to his past but he needs to save her as well. I love their connection and seeing them rekindle their love, while at the same time being suspicious of everyone else. These have to be read in order, fyi.
Tristan and Isabel have captured my attention. They are a power couple and there's no telling where this story will lead next. I am dying to find out!
book 3- Something I find interesting about this series is that, even though the main storyline is ongoing, each book feels like a fresh adventure. New places, new problems, new relationships. And the whole time they are gaining information, on the run, and falling into a new version of their old love.
I have felt that Isabel was strong since book one, but it's only now she's starting to realize it and build it. Girl power! In a lot of ways, I think she is the fiercest and strongest character in the series. It's interesting watching the humanization of Tristan through his feelings for her. It's like she's breathing life back into him.

book 2- I mean seriously, I was shocked three times in part 2. Shocked. I have more questions now than I did before and I am loving every second of this.
I don't think I've ever read a story like this, where she is the key to his past but he needs to save her as well. I love their connection and seeing them rekindle their love, while at the same time being suspicious of everyone else. These have to be read in order, fyi.
Tristan and Isabel have captured my attention. They are a power couple and there's no telling where this story will lead next. I am dying to find out!
book 3- Something I find interesting about this series is that, even though the main storyline is ongoing, each book feels like a fresh adventure. New places, new problems, new relationships. And the whole time they are gaining information, on the run, and falling into a new version of their old love.
I have felt that Isabel was strong since book one, but it's only now she's starting to realize it and build it. Girl power! In a lot of ways, I think she is the fiercest and strongest character in the series. It's interesting watching the humanization of Tristan through his feelings for her. It's like she's breathing life back into him.

I just finished the first book in this series and my interest was piqued immediately. Tristan’s mission and mysterious past woven throughout the story had me from the beginning. I only wished I was sipping on a caipirinha as I devoured the book!

This series is fantastic! I was on the edge of my seat, eagerly waiting to see what would happen next. The angst, tension and chemistry in this series will blow you away. I loved the suspenseful and action aspect of it as well. One of my favorite series.

First of all, LOVE that I received the copy along with some pens, bookmarks, and stickers! I am totally into stationary/office supplies of any kind. So thank you Meredith Wild for that!
This read was great. It was fast-paced, and really quite thrilling. It was intriguing that in some ways, the story unraveled backwards while moving forward. For instance, the book starts with Tristan attempting to kill Isabel (and of course doesn't), then as the story progresses, Isabel talks about and revisits their past to reveal details about Tristan. Just a really cool and atypical set-up.
I am so glad that I was fortunate enough to win this particular version, where parts 1-3 are included. I don't think I would have enjoyed it nearly as much if I had to wait for each part to be released! I'm already highly anticipating the next part(s) to come out in November, and they are on my TBR.
Meredith, you write so well from a conversational standpoint. I feel like, despite the very unusual circumstances/history of Tristan and Isabel's story, they are people I could easily know in my life. Just very easy to relate to, and a true joy to follow their escapades throughout the book. This book was great!

This is my first time reading one of Meredith Wild’s books and I really enjoyed it! I love how fast paced it is and how it’s broken up into 3 parts, each taking place in a different city! Each chapter ends on its own miniature cliffhanger and it makes the book so hard to put down! I’m so intrigued to learn more about Tristan and his past! I love how Isabel is learning to be strong and take charge!
I can’t wait to see where the series goes!

Meredith is a wicked woman leaving me with a book hangover that I can’t shake! This series is going to blow our minds. This book gripped me from the beginning to the end. Tristian and Isabel story is a fresh twist to Meredith writing, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of this series!
Tristian lives in the gray area of our lives, his past is forgotten and the shadows is what he would call home. When his life crosses paths with Isabel, their lives turn to chaos quickly. Isabel is running from her past, and living from day to day. She has made a life for herself, and when her past rises from the shadows her world gets turned upside down.
This book has everything I needed. The heart pounding moments of suspense is incredible. We have two people who have this deep connection that you feel to your bones. The fight these two have in them makes me want to swoon, and their passion is of the charts!! Meredith has taken us to a little darker world that I’m loving so much, and I can’t wait to see what twist and turns we are going to see for these two. I’m not going to forget this series for a very long time!!

As this series continues we go deeper into the gray world, and things may not be what they seem. With every heart pounding twist and turn I found myself engulfed in this story line. This is hands down Meredith’s best series yet! Her writing just takes you in and makes you feel like you’re in the pages. I can’t wait to keep reading about these two. I know that I will never forget this series!
I’m on pins and needles waiting for the next installment! The way this book ended has me shattered. I HAVE to know what is going to happen. So many questions and possibilities is running rapid through my head.

There is a lot going on in this installment, and I don’t want to give to much away. So I will say this, if you have followed their journey then get ready for the best part yet. There is passion, angst, adventure, and a fantastic plot twist. Tristian is everything a woman would want, and I’m hoping that his outcome will be what he needs in the next installment. You will understand once you have read the book. All I know is that I need Part 4 right now! This ending left me wondering where Meredith is going to take us.

Omg. I have read the first part and now the second one and it only took me 45 mins to read. Why??? Cause I couldn’t put it down. I am so excited for the next part it is unreal. I mean come on!! This story is amazing. It is a must read.

I received this as an ARC and all I can say is wow! Absolutely love Tristan and Isabelles story. Just when I don't think Meredith can write anything better than she already has, she goes and proves me wrong. Definitely the start to my new favorite series! Can't wait to read the rest and continue on this amazing journey! Meredith is awesome!

I love Meredith's writing! This is an amazing book that will leave you wanting the next book. Read this book and Meredith will have you on a wild ride that you won't want to get off of. I definitely recommend this book/series!

I couldn't stop reading this book. I mean, I literally couldn't stop. I'd set it down, pick up my laptop to get some work done, and the book would start whispering things like, "What do you think Tristan and Isabel are doing now?" I'd manage to bluff a little work for ten minutes, then my hands, of their own free will, would pick up the book and I'd be immersed in the story again without consciously making that decision.
Narration alters between Tristan and Isabel, and both are written in first person. The transitions are clear, with their names listed at the top of each section. Their voices are distinct, so it's easy to tell who's narrating even without the section labels.
Meredith Wild manages to make a killer lovable, which isn't an easy feat. Tristan captivated me from the start. Isabel's character is just as strong and compelling. The two combined are explosive.
The plot is complex but never confusing. The pace is steady, with surprises and twists that kept me wanting to turn "just one more page."
This book has a satisfying ending, while leaving a perfect opening for what's to come in the next book. No major cliffhangers, which I greatly appreciate, but just enough to leave us wanting more. And I definitely want more.

This leads to them reconnecting and together they must figure out who wants Isabel dead, why, and what can they do to save her.
I found it difficult to put this book down and needed to know what was going to happen.
My only complaint would be the extremely steamy sex scenes. While they are used to show the passion between the characters, I thought they were a little too graphic.

I simply can not get enough of Tristan and Isabel. Star-crossed lovers on a path to destruction trying hard to rescue each other. Tristan trying to save Isabel from an evil family hell bent on evening the score against her family, while she is trying to resurrect Tristan from the brainwashing organization who turned him into a killing machine. Slowly Isabel is becoming a strong, self-reliant take charge woman while Tristan is changing from a cold-blooded killer to a man who is forsaking his heartless assassin lifestyle to be a man Isabel can love. Can they run this gauntlet and make it to a safe haven where they can start over together? Can't wait for the next installment! 5 enthusiastic stars for this series!!

Could easily have seen this as a successful trilogy with those efforts. It is a good read, but I would have liked to have seen it as a great one.
