Unstoppable sendiri adalah kata yang berarti tidak mungkin dihentikan atau dicegah. Ini merupakan sebuah semangat atau pola pikir yang bisa dimiliki siapa pun, termasuk kamu. Becoming Unstoppable adalah sebuah cerita tentang kegigihan, menemukan suara, dan percaya dengan perjalananmu meskipun kamu tidak mengertinya.

Kita semua layak mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mendapatkan hidup yang baik. Bukan sekadar ada, tapi benar-benar hidup.

Becoming Unstoppable akan membantu membangkitkan hidupmu dengan berani, penuh semangat, dan keyakinan yang luar biasa.

Unstoppable isn’t about perfection. It’s about going through things you never thought you’d go through that bring you to places you never thought you’d get to. It`s a spirit and mindset that has gotten us through our darkest days. The word itself means impossible to stop or prevent. Being unstoppable means not backing down or giving up even when the world is up against you, because we believe that nothing and no one can stop a person from achieving their purpose.

The mindset isn’t something one can obtain in an instant. There’s a reason why this book is called Becoming Unstoppable. It’s something you have to work at. Constantly. On a daily basis. There’s a process and journey involved that is needed to get to this point. And that is the story we wish to tell

This book will give you insight on what it took for us to be in the positions we are in today. It's those moments of insecurity, having a major lack of self esteem, dealing with bullying and yes, along the way, being lost in the path of life and ultimately finding our way again, that we wish to share. Our downfalls and moments of darkness are of equal importance in shaping the people we are today. The not - so picture - perfect moments deserve to be displayed too. We realize that the world of Instagram and social media can be deceiving. Unlike the gram, life isn't only made up of highlights. You can't edit out the truth of reality.

Woho.... sudah selesai baca bukunya seharian kemarin. Yes, aku suka bukunya, dah tak kasi bintang 4. Sebenarnya yang menarik bukan cerita kesaksesannya gimana twin ini bisa jadi reporter E news asia, tapi lebih ke bagaimana proses perjalanan mereka kesana. Seperti Maria yang presentasi di TedX, ternyata memang bukan hanya bakat tapi practice make perfect. Kalau boleh dibilang buku ini masih jarang yang baca bahkan review di goodreads pun dikit, mungkin karena pake bahasa enggres. Jujur kalau di bahasa indonesia-kan kayaknya kurang nampol seh, aku senang dia nulis pake bahasa enggres lebih makjeb, bisa juga karena mereka besar di amriki sana, bahasa kesehariannya bahasa enggres. Buku ini hype-nya sudah usai karena terbit tahun 2018, tapi ternyata masih banyak yang nyari dan harganya ya mahal karena kertasnya kek kertas majalah berwarna licin semua cuyy, mayan buat kholeksi namun sebagai sobat #rajinmenabung sayang banget kalau harganya nyaris 200ribuan buat buku ini, makanya w beli buku bekas aja cuma 50ribuan, kelihatan bgt emak2 perhitungan w ya. Mirip vibesnya buku Maudy Ayunda, penuh foto2, tapi kan dia quote2 doang, kurang membumi, kalau di buku ini dijelasin bagaimana latar belakang keluarga mereka, gimana bapaknya hijrah ke amerika nggak punya kenalan sama sekali terus minta nomer orang indonesia di kedutaan dan orang ke-13 yang dihubungi baru mau nyediain tempat tinggal for stangers alias bapaknya maria itu. Seru sekaliiiii aaaa....

This is an amazing self-improvement book mainly about passion, dreams, hope, gratitude, unstoppable spirit, and women empowerment.
The story is about Maria & Elizabeth's ups and downs of growing up and striving for their success in two different countries : US and Indonesia. Despite the glamorous and successful life they are living today (as influencer, tv host of E! News Asia, etc) , you might not believe that they have ever experienced bullying, depression, culture shock, failures and rejection at the time their family moved from one country to another.

What I love here is the book isn't all just about their stories which you would feel bored easily, they also give loads of advice, inspirational quotes that you'll want to jot down on your notes.

I highly recommend this book to girls or women who are currently doubtful about pursuing their passions.

Buku yang bagus! Walaupun awalnya aku nggak tahu dan nggak kenal siapa Maria dan Elizabeth Rahajeng ini, tapi coba baca aja di Ipusnas. Ternyata mereka itu host atau semacam jurnalis gitulah di E! Asia (yang aku juga baru denger), dan Maria adalah salah satu Putri Indonesia tahun 2014.

Buku Becoming Unstoppable bercerita kehidupan kembar identik ini dari lahir hingga dewasa, menjadi host, selebgram, influencer, dsb. Mereka bukan berasal dari keluarga yang kaya raya banget, tetapi kedua orangtua mereka bekerja keras dan memutuskan pindah ke AS untuk kehidupan yang lebih baik. Terus, akhirnya balik lagi ke Indonesia (Bali) saat mereka berusia 13 tahun.

Intinya sih buku ini ingin menyampaikan kalau apa yang mereka dapatkan sekarang berdasarkan usaha, kerja keras, dan pantang menyerah. Selain cerita tentang kehidupan, mereka juga berbagi tips tentang meraih kesuksesan sampai mengatur feeds di Instagram agar menarik dan berkesan.

Buku ini pakai bahasa Inggris, entah kenapa. Tapi biarlah, yang penting isinya bagus dan layoutnya juga cakep.

Yeay for unstoppable twin ladies untuk segala nasihat dan petuahnya. Buku ini mampu bikin saya termotivasi untuk bergerak tanpa batas. Banyak quote mereka yang mengena banget dan kalo bukan karena males, sebenrnya mau saya pigura dan pajang di kamar.

Dari dulu ingin jadi cewe pengusaha tapi banyak takutnya. Sekarang, saya bisa berkaca di sosok diri dua wanita ini, refleksi yang mungkin bisa saya capai bertahun-tahun dari sekarang.

Bought this book on a whim because i like the cover. Glad i did, because i like it. It is truly a self improvement book, for girls especially.
Really appreciate their willingness to open up and share their story and point of view. Whilst the story might differ, i think in some point in our lives, the message they deliver through this book would resonate. Simply put, this is a book about growing up, and beautifully told

Such an inspiring book. I shed a tear when I read about their father, who fight SO hard just to make their 3 girls have a better life.. And how the girls struggling when they go back to Indonesia, overcome bullying and come as they are now. It’s not LUCK, obviously... They strive for it and they becoming unstoppable now ....
