Seriously though…Lucas irritates the hell out of me.
My brother’s best friend Lucas is in the same pro football team as him and when Lucas got badly injured during a game, my mom wanted ME to come and babysit him. Sorry, did I say babysit? I meant look after!
Lucas has been an almost permanent fixture in our house for as long as I can remember. We seem to constantly bicker about stupid stuff but the thing is, I can’t help but notice the man he has become. I pray for another hot summer day when he might grace our house shirtless again. With sweat beading down his body, I swear I never felt so tempted to lick a man. The last time that happened, the sight of his body gave me something to dream about.
The thing is that I’m not even slightly domesticated, I have no idea how I’m supposed to look after an injured football player, but I do know one thing. I probably shouldn’t have walked into the bathroom that day.
With Lucas dressed in nothing but a teeny towel, it was probably always going to spell out trouble.
Warning, this story involves a steamy shower scene, a lovable but possessive alpha football player and romance that will make your heart pound!

I was granted an ARC of Scarlet Ellis' "Tease Me - Book 1 (Family Ties Series)" via Booksprout; I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!

I nearly DNFd at 10% kept on as it was so short.
Where to begin.
Slight spoiler
The MC was told he had severe concussion and possible career ending leg Injury. Is released less than 24hrs later no surgery etc and no mention ever again of the concussion and apparently can get up stairs unaided despite it being career ending. He then stands up in a bath and walks around without crutches less than a week and no mention of any Dr's appointments.
After he ends up back In hospital the Dr decided because of where the injury is he'll be fine. The injury hasn't suddenly moved! It's always been there so why did he think it was career ending before?!
Why discharged without the follow up tests
Was very rushed with name mix ups etc and get to the epilogue and suddenly what had been told in the last page was undone. Despite being told oh he'll be fine and can play she'd supposedly thought he'd never play again 🤔
My favourite error was when her brother plays a part in the proposal and she goes... did you know about this?! No he just keeps random engagement rings on himself in case people propose!
The errors just took me out the story. There was no tension either

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Mandy and Lucas. Mandy, her brother Noah and Lucas have been around each other since they were kids, their parents offering a family vibe for Lucas when his dad left. They teased and tormented Mandy for years. Now they are pro football players. Mandy has longings for Lucas but never imagined he would return the feelings. After getting hurt during a game, Mandy is to watch and help take care of Lucas. But things get crazy when Lucas wants a shower but can't get in by himself. Follow them on his crazy recouping and her nursing him back to health. Great chemistry and fun characters.

sexy
This was a nice short sports romance read about brothers best friend. Mandy is the black sheep of the family and Lucas is her brothers best friend who her whole family loves. She has feelings for him and he has feelings for her. She has to take care of him after an injury and things get spicy. It’s a short read and the tension between the two is hot! Shower scene 🥵🥵! I really enjoyed this book. I needed something short and sweet in between my dark reads. Will check out more from this author!

Short and sweet but a little predictable. I know it is a quick read but they went from 0 to 100 a little too fast considering how long they had actually known each other and had done nothing before and next it's oral in the shower that you're not sure who was more surprised at. I'm all for surprises but not when they apologize after.

She had been dreaming of his body for some time even though they had I own each other for years. She walks into the bathroom and oopps. He only had a tiny towel around him. Could things get steamy between them? See if they do

This is a pretty short read and does not get too involved, in the lives of those around the main characters. Brother (Noah), brother's best friend (Lucas), and little sister (Mandy).
Lucas and Mandy have been fighting the attraction to each other and turn it into arguments and heated exchanges. After an injury to Lucas and he needs rehab Mandy gets blindsided to help him and everything changes. Gone is the nasty replaced by the lust.
A happy ending is what we are left with.

Lucas has found himself injured with a could be career ending knee injury but he doesn't tell anyone. He has always thought Mandy was cute but lately he has been seeing her differently.
A brilliantly written story with excellent characters and a happy ending guaranteed

I really enjoyed this book, great storyline and very likeable characters, loved how their attraction started with the typical teasing of growing up and realising how they feel, loved the ending, looking forward to reading the next book 😊

Cute story but could use a little more umpth
I liked the story, there wasnt anything really good or bad to say. I just with there was more to the story, it moved really fast and got confusing in the beginning because it felt like it started in the middle of a scene. Thanks for a cute short story Scarlet Ellis. Wish there was more

This book is fabulous. It is an amazing story of an older man younger woman story. It is fast pace, well written and interesting – before you know it you are at the end wanting more.

quick read
This was a super quick read, however I couldn’t really get passed the grammar mistakes and punctuation errors. It made the story confusing to read at times. The story was a basic brothers best friend trope which was cute.

Not my cup of tea
I’m a pretty big fan of romance novels and novellas but this one just fell flat for me! The relationships in the story didn’t seem developed or believable

Easy to read
Fun easy read. Only problem I had with this story was galling the football field a pitch. Of course I took this story as an American football story.

When lucas gets hurts he comes to stay at their house and finally they both admit their true feelings to each other. Will they give into their passion or run from it?
