Kevan Abernathy is the owner and ring master of Olympus Circus that is coming to town and Sean McDaniels runs McDaniels rescue, an animal welfare foundation that relocates and rehabilitates rescued and endangered animals, he desperately wants to rehome all of the circus animals and is prepared to pay a hefty chunk of money for them as this archaic practice sickens him to his stomach, mine too. He has all the plans in place he just needs the circus owner to agree. Chase Jamieson is a trapeze artist in the circus who likes a new conquest in his bed every night. Sean needs to meet with Abernathy but has to sit through the show until it ends to do this, but catches Chase's eye and the attraction is mutual. Abernathy wants to sleep on the offer so Sean agrees to meet Chase the following day to have dinner and interview him about the animals. Dinner turns into a club then a hot sweaty hotel romp where Sean awakes the following morning alone, Chase already gone although reluctantly. Back at the circus Abernathy informs Chase he's taking Sean's offer and the animals won't be going with them which breaks his heart, they pack up and move on without the animals. Sean wondering if he'll ever see Chase again but gets the nerve up a couple of months later to text for a meet up when he's near the circus for a convention and gives Chase an unexpected surprise and some lovely news and photos about the animals. Chase drops some very unexpected news on Abernathy and it doesn't go down well at all. Sean calls Chase the following day and a nasty Abernathy answers and crushes Sean with lies and Abernathy also betrays Chase trying to keep him. Sean returns home alone and decides he's going to make a life changing decision with the elephants to go to Africa and starts putting everything in place to leave within a month. Chase is destroyed, weeks pass he still can't get in touch with Sean, then finds out he's gone , he's in Africa and spends his days just going through the motions not caring . Sean opens his emails once in Africa realising a big misunderstanding and contacts Chase. Chase says his goodbyes to the circus and heads to Africa to join Sean and his elephant family and a future he never thought he'd have. There were some tense moments throughout this story and I coudnt stop reading, really loved Chloe and the other animals. A beautiful story with a beautiful ending. Aiden Bates brings us the start of a new and fun series with this book. Chase and Sean are two men who come from very different worlds, and when those worlds collide it's going to change both their lives! I thought this was a fun read, and I really liked the setting of this story.
Sean comes from money and now uses his wealth to rescue animals, and he has his sights set on the circus. He wants to give those animals a better life where they aren't forced to perform and live in cages. Chase has always known circus life, it's what family is to him. He's an amazing trapeze artist and enjoys what he does. When Sean shows up with plans to take the animals from the circus, he is not the most liked guy. The circus group loves their animals, especially their elephant Chloe, but in the end Sean wins and the animals are sent to new homes.
Sean and Chase seem unlikely, but there is a connection there and one night together leads to some very real consequences. It doesn't seem likely that these two will be able to build a family together, there are some major challenges and misunderstandings that they will have to overcome if they even stand a chance. Once these two figure it out a bit, I really liked them together and I was rooting for them. I felt for them when they were apart, especially Chase and what he had to go through, but it was one heck of an ending for these two. Some parts felt a bit rushed for me, but in the end I enjoyed these characters, the different setting for this book and especially the love these two found together! Definitely excited to see what is next.

Chase grew up in the circus. After his parents died when he was a teenager the circus became his family. However, he always kept people at arms length. He never wanted to experience the type of pain he endured, and still does, after his parents died. Chase is content having one night stands and there’s never a short supply of willing partners. So it comes as a surprise to him that when a wealthy man offering to buy the animals in the circus, and break up his family, comes around that Chase gets to thinking there may be more out there than he realized.
Sean’s family made their fortune in the pork business. Sean is a huge animal lover and what better way to make up for what his family has done than to start a foundation that rescues animals that are abused or mistreated. He hears about the Olympus Circus and decides he wants to rescue these animals. He’s got homes all lined up for the animals. All he has to do is convince the owner to take his money and be on his way. He never expected to meet anyone that peaked his interest. Sean is usually so engrossed in his work that he has no personal life to speak of. Meeting Chase made threw him off his axis in the best possible way.
This book was a very enjoyable read. However, it’s not the typical material I’m used to reading from Aiden Bates. It’s not a bad different, but it was different. This story didn’t engage me as his usual writings. There were aspects of the book I enjoyed and then there were others that just seem disjointed. Overall, I did like the story but it took getting used to.

I usually really enjoy anything Aiden Bates writes. They are generally easy to read and quite enjoyable. However, this one didn't seem to be quite Aiden's voice. I could see where he was shining through sometimes, but other times it just seemed like it was someone else who had written it.
I like the premise and I like the basic storyline. I thought that the main characters were likable and that Kevan was a complete ash-hole. With all that said, there was something that was just a little... not disappointing, maybe off? about this one. I can't really point to any one particular thing, but there's just something.
And really, the real star of the story isn't Chase or Sean. It's Chloe, and she's the total best!
I'll be waiting for the next one to come in the series, and hopefully Aiden Bates is back to the voice I'm familiar with.

Weeks later Sean contact him and they meet up again. Sean has a surprise for him - he is pregnant. Chase wants to be part of his child's life but when he returns to the circus and informs the ringmaster that he will be leaving he locks him in a cage then when Sean rings on his phone tells him that Chase has changed his mind. Sean leaves the hotel and blocks Chase's number will Chase be able to reconnect his family. A MM romance to relax and enjoy.

Chase grew up in the circus, an acrobat with a big adopted family of performers and animals. Sean is an animal lover whose foundation rescues abused animals and has set his sights on saving the circus animals. Chase finds himself drawn to Sean even though he is breaking apart his "family". But Sean somehow breaks down all of Chase's walls and ends up giving his his true family, starting with he baby he now carries.
An amazing love story with great characters. I got mad at certain characters who led to the separation of Chase and Sean, but then smiled when things seemed to be working out. I truly fell in love with Chase, Sean and the elephant Chloe.

Such as amazing romance. I fell in love with both main characters right away. Sean the animal rights activist who spends his inheritance helping free circus animals and other animals in unfit conditions, and then there is Chase. The playboy circus performer who loves his circus family, but most of all the elephant that Sean wants to take away. How can they fit together? They just do, and a unplanned pregnancy and miscommunication might be the end. This book is a great read and it just flows throughout. Well done. And of course the amazing HEA,

When I first started reading the book I had a hard time getting into the characters. They weren't too likable at first but eventually the story carried on and I did enjoy it and loved the ending. I especially loved the mixed race couple it was so pleasant to read about, and the plot was something I've never read about before. Not even a similar version of it.
Character breakdown;
Chase: an acrobat in a story is new to me but I found I liked Chase and he seemed pretty easy going.
Sean: a businessman/animal lover isn't a combo I've ever expected but it worked here just fine.
The book was enjoyable and the characters took a while to enjoy but eventually they were enjoyable.

Chase has set up a foundation to place captive animals in a more natural habitat. When no one else is available, Chase goes the circus to speak with the owner. He is ready with a foundation check to purchase the horses, the lion & and lioness and the elephants. The owner then asks Sean to go to lunch with Chase the next day. Sean changes the lunch to dinner
and the heat increases more. Chase & Sean have a one-night stand that night after dinner. Thus ensues misunderstandings and others sticking their noses in Sean & Chase's business. Especially when Sean realizes that he is going to have Chase's baby. Must Read!!

Sean a rich omega dedicated to saving animals from harm. Chase an acrobat in the circus with a song attachment to the elephants, especially Chloe. A one night stand a unexpected pregnancy and lots of misunderstanding an interference.

Brilliant book. At first I had trouble trying to get into the story I'm not sure why but I did, I persisted and I am glad I did for it is a great book. Chase and Sean have quite the journey to make but I guess in a way sometimes in life it must be one that needs taking. A few times during reading this I called out oh no out loud and had my son asking what them having to say oh nothing just my book, he gave some funny looks.
A book definatly worth getting you wont regret it.

I absolutely loved this book. It will have your emotions on a rollercoaster. Chase is an acrobat in the circus, Sean is the head of a foundation that rescues animals. Kevan, Chase's boss asks him to take Sean out and show him that the animals were being taken care of. One thing lead to another and they end up in a one night stand situation. Will they get their happily ever after or will Chase's circus life get in the way? You will have to the read the book to find out and I definitely recommend that you do. I loved Chloe the elephant!

I enjoyed this book but I felt like it moved kind of fast and that there were certain things that we missed such as Sean finding out he was pregnant...what was his reaction? All we got to see is when he had adjusted and was "telling Chase". Overall I think that the story was good but I felt like I was missing things. In all honesty, it was not my favorite Aiden Bates book but I am looking forward to reading the following ones in this series to see the improvements.

This is a sweet romance between Sean and Chase. The author gives them an instant attraction and hot chemistry. Their characters are strong ,well developed and likable. They have an up and down relationship due to outside interference but in the end family and love wins.The story moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

Sean is a brilliant, handsome omega who has strong beliefs. Chase, a sexy, strong alpha. When these two meet the circumstances aren't what one would expect, but when sparks fly.... Well I highly recommend this to be read to see what happens. I love how well written, emotional, and raw this book is! I couldn't put it down.

I really enjoy this author's work!
I started this and stopped a few times, and i really did like some parts of the story. However, it had too much angst over something that should not have been so big. i really liked Chase, however, Sean was not my favorite character.
The ending was terrific and they do get their HEA.

I enjoyed this latest mpreg story from Aiden Bates. I liked the unconventional circus setting. Falling in love with a trapeze artist? Doesn't seem like a recipe for a long-term relationship, does it? Loved the characters of Chase and Sean, but I was frustrated by the lack of communication. But I guess there wouldn't have been a story otherwise;-o Good story.

This book will draw you in and will not let you go. You really get a look into the circus and what it entails. There are ups and downs but that is a wonderful part of the book. You will laugh and cry in this book with the feels that happen.

I was worried in the beginning that I wasn’t going to like this book but I gave it a chance. It turned out to be a good book. The storyline is well written and so are the characters. I’m looking forward to reading the next book written Mr. Bates.

Whats a trapeze artist and a businessman have in common, circus animals! They went out for dinner and went to bed after. An Alpha and an Omega got a surprise pregnancy out of that night.
This is a delightful story of two people trying to be together but others ininterferred.
Aiden really captured this love story, as by the end I was crying happy tears.

Chase and Sean's story was a little bit of a roll-a-coaster. The misunderstandings, interfering work family and transcontinental travel just added to the great story. In the end, love and family win out.

Chase loves the circus life and the men who pass through. Sean only wants to help animals live a better life. Neither man wants a commitment and live very different lives. I hate that Chase let Kevin use him because of misplaced loyalty. A great read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I loved Sean and Chase's story. I was not happy with Kevan and the clowns. I loved the interaction with the elephants and how Scamper intervened to set things right.
