Never did I ever think that a story that revolves around a reality show would be so enjoyable and, dare I say, full of depth. After meeting Kat as a secondary character in a couple of Isaac’s previous books, I was thrilled to really delve deep into her as the main character in All Made Up.

I admit, I am not a fan of reality shows – I don’t watch any, actually, but I loved the behind the scenes look at the Bachelor-like show in this story. It pokes fun at it just enough without going totally over the top. I also like how the setting moves from the studio to the farm – a certain scene with some boisterous pigs had me laughing out loud for real. I also have to mention the sweet romance. Caleb may look like bachelor-farmer material, but an actor he is not. His fumbling through reality TV is hilariously endearing.

Despite the fluffy nature of the reality show, Kat’s backstory is one that is poignant and heartbreaking in a way that I had not expected. The hilarity of the reality show and the seriousness of the trials that Kat and Caleb face complement each other rather than compete with each other, which for me is where Isaac’s writing really shines. To move a story from humor to poignancy in such a deft way impresses me with every story of hers that I read.

All Made Up is another winning romance by Kara Isaac – it’s full of endearing characters, a romance that is genuine and sweet, and real-life issues that make the characters come alive. How good it is to know that I only have to wait until February for her next book!

I received a complimentary copy of this novel from the author, which I chose to review. I was not required to post a positive review, and the opinions expressed here are my own.

Another wonderful novel by the talented Kara Isaac!

While I don't watch reality television, I did find myself watching an early episode of The Bachelor while out of town and in a remote hotel with no cable. I got hooked and watched that season. All Made Up has a farmer version of this same concept.

Kat is the main character in All Made Up and Isaac fans will remember her from prior novels. One of my favorite parts of All Made Up were the text exchanges between Kat, Allie and Paige. I missed those exchanges in the chapter that didn't include them. There was lots of chuckles in this novel, especially in the beginning.

I love the title and the cover. The only thing and this is minor is that Caleb's hand on the cover doesn't look like a farmer's hand to me. I envision it would be a bit more weathered.

Bravo to Kara Isaac on another successful rom com!

Laugh. Out. Loud. Funny.

There is so much I LOVE about this story. First, if you've read any of Kara Isaac's stories than you're already familiar with Kat and if you're like me, you've been bugging Ms. Isaac with tweets, FB messages, and emails to PUH-LEASE tell us Kat's story--well here it is in all of it's lights, camera, action GLORY!!

This story had me on page one! Um, hello cringe worthy reality dating show?! All Made Up takes us behind the cameras of Falling For the Farmer (think Bachelor meets Farmers Only). Reading this book was like binge watching an entire season of *ahem* those shows and I loved every second.

Katriona McLeod's character has charmed me since the very first time she stepped into the spotlight. This fun and quirky makeup artist brings so much fun to Ms. Isaac's previous stories that my expectations were high for hers. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed getting to know more about this character and discover the depth behind her spunky personality.

Meeting the Farmer, AKA Caleb Murphy, was hilarious. Ms. Isaac did a wonderful job bringing authenticity to the actions and thoughts of this character thrust into the arena of pursuit like a piece of meat to entice a group of eyelash batting, stiletto wearing, she-wolves looking for...love? It was comical and endearing and ooowheeee--those kissing scenes had MY toes curling!!

Amidst the humor and swooning romance, the story fosters a very tender theme of loss, sacrifice, and forgiveness. I think Ms. Isaac balances it beautifully bringing pain and joy together in a way that was genuine and satisfying.

Watching secondary characters come to life in their very own story can be scary because there's a fear they won't live up to what I've imagined. Not only did Ms. Isaac bring Kat's story to life, she exceeded my expectations and delivered a story that delighted my reader heart.

So close to 5 stars!
I was engaged right away since we follow a makeup artist for a Bachelor-esc show in Australia.
She has to sub in as one of the contestants and it turns out she knows the lead man from dating him in the past!
It was funny and entertaining.

I did feel like the plot progression wasn't as smooth as I would have liked.
But I loved the characters and watching their relationship's highs and lows.

A clean Christian romance that I totally recommend!

When I want to escape the world for a while, I reach for a Kara Isaac novel. I'm so glad I had this one on hand. I know Kara will always bring a smile to my face, make me laugh, and yes, make me cry. This novel was no different and I did all of the above. I was quickly completely invested in the characters, and their story. This was a wonderful romance and I kept turning pages to see what would happen, even though I didn't want the story to end. And the title, very clever!!
Another triumph from Kara!

I loved this latest book from Kara Isaac! The characters are well developed, layered, and not at all cookie-cutter romance figures. I thoroughly enjoyed the play on the reality TV show, and while I don't watch a lot of The Bachelor, I thought the twists were super fun. As was the behind-the-scenes reality of "reality" TV. :) I also liked the fact that the faith elements were interwoven without being preachy. The romance was sizzling and it was fun to have cameos from Paige and Allie from Kara's other two novels.

What a great story! It was full of fun and all things crazy and convoluted that revolve around reality TV shows, yet it was ultimately a story of lost love and second chances. But, there are some hurts and heartache that are hard to overcome. Is forgiveness a possibility and can there be a second chance? I loved this story and can see myself re-reading this book in the future.

I wasn’t sure about reading this book. On one hand I absolutely love Kara Isaac’s books and writing style, so I knew I was sure to love this book. But on the other hand the premise was centred around a finding love reality tv show. No shame to people who like those shows but they are really not my thing. So, with a little trepidation I started All Made Up. And I’m so glad I did. I was captured from the very first page. I have loved Kat since she first appeared in Isaac’s debut Close To You. Strong and determined, Kat is simply lots of fun to be around. But in All Made Up we finally learn that there is so much more to her, so much more to her story, so much heartache. I loved this chance to get to know her and for her to finally get a chance to tell her story and, hopefully, get a happy ending. And that reality TV setting? Well, when your two main characters are reluctant participants, a lot of fun is made at the expense of the other contestants and the drama of the show itself, and there is an endless reel of mishaps and hilarity, the show and the situation it puts Kat and Caleb in is just another facet of All Made Up that is so fantastic and loveable.

Kat has a great life as a successful make up artist. Finally paying off a debt to her friend is the only reason she is working on the set of Falling For The Farmer. And she figures that debt is well and truly covered when she is asked to sub in when some contestants get sick. The last thing she expects when walking onto the over-decorated set is falling into the arms of the man who broke her heart ten years ago. Caleb Murphy is on the show as a way to fulfil a promise to his mother, but if it offers him a second chance with the love of his life, then he is all for it. It just might prove hard to convince Kat to stay, especially when they have so much history they have yet to work through.

All Made Up is equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking. As Caleb and Kat make their way through disastrous group dates and navigate hiding their history from the cameras that constantly surround them, they have to wade through some incredibly tough emotions from their past. Once again Kara Isaac provides readers with incredibly layered and complex characters. Flawed, emotional and relatable, Kat and Caleb are ultimately totally loveable and I was rooting for them the entire time.

Be prepared to be put through the emotional wringer, but it is so worth it. Added bonus was the familiar setting of rural Queensland, which Isaac brings to life alongside her characters. I loved All Made Up and can add it to the list with Kara Isaac’s other titles as delightful, realistic and honest contemporary Christian romance.

This was my first book by this author, and now I’m hooked! I’m already planning to read her entire backlist. This story was absolutely delightful—cute, wholesome, and deeply endearing. It had the perfect balance of humor, heart, and emotion, making me laugh, swoon, and even tear up a little toward the end.

I didn’t realize going in that this book follows a side character from another story in the series who finally gets her own happy ending. However, I never felt lost or like I was missing key details. That said, I’m now eager to go back and read the previous books, even though I already know how this particular character’s journey unfolds.

The premise of this story is so much fun—a dating reality show set in the Australian Outback, reminiscent of The Bachelor, but with a fresh and charming twist. I loved the behind-the-scenes look at how the show operated, with all the little details that made it feel like a real reality TV experience. The book also playfully poked fun at the genre without being too over-the-top, which I appreciated.

That said, I did wish there had been a little more time spent on Kat’s experience as a contestant. We didn’t see much interaction between her and the other women competing for Caleb’s attention, and I would have enjoyed a few more group dates and the inevitable reality-show drama before the setting shifted to Caleb’s farm. The transition felt a bit fast, and I would have loved to soak in that dynamic just a little longer.

Despite that, Kat and Caleb completely won me over. They felt like real people dealing with real struggles, making them easy to relate to. Their chemistry was fantastic, and I loved how their relationship unfolded with both humor and depth. There were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments (the pig scene on the farm was a highlight!), but the story also carried a surprising amount of emotional weight. That depth made their romance feel even more rewarding, and I found myself fully invested in their journey.

This is a sweet, closed-door romance with no language or spice, and it also includes faith elements woven naturally into the story, which I thoroughly enjoyed. If you love second-chance romances with emotional depth, well-developed characters, and a fresh, unique setting, I highly recommend this book! I can’t wait to read more from Kara Isaac.

I have to be honest with you: reality TV shows like The Bachelor give me the heebies. So it’s no reflection on Kara Isaac’s writing when I say that I felt like I had ants crawling all over me at some points in this story. In fact, it’s confirmation of just how much I love her stories that I was not only willing to subject myself to the twitching and the shudders, but also able to come out the other end saying, ‘It was all worth it.’ Because it was. Beneath the thoroughly contrived set-up (oh, the irony of ‘reality TV’!) there is a deeply personal emotional journey these characters must make that was handled with wisdom and sensitivity. In fact, the soul searching Caleb did right before the final resolution was one of the most memorable parts of the story for me, and was one of those moments when I found myself examining my own responses in a new light.

Putting aside my dislike of all things The Bachelor for a moment, this story had all the things I’ve come to love about Kara Isaac’s writing. The mix of light-hearted and heart-felt, that wry, slightly self-deprecating humour, the crackling romantic tension (and some swoony kisses), and snappy writing. And just when I began to wonder whether this story stretched the bounds of believability even for a reality TV show, Australia’s real-life 2018 bachelor went and laid all my qualms to rest by ending the series the same way he started: a bachelor. Talk about making news headlines! Sheesh. You'd think he announced he was starting a society for maiming kittens. I guess the lesson there is never underestimate 'reality TV'.

My opinion of 'reality TV' may not have changed, but I’ll take Kat and Caleb any day!

I received a copy of this novel from the author. This has not influenced the content of my review, which is my honest and unbiased opinion.

All Made Up by Kara Issac | Book Review

STORY | A decade ago, Caleb and Kat were once in love. Now, as a successful makeup artist who’s trade has won her accolades and awards, Kat is again about to see Caleb. While working on the reality TV show about finding love, Kat is asked to step in last minute to replace one of the girls vying for the hand of their bachelor farmer. It all seems easy enough until Kat sees who the farmer is.

Absurd is the only way Caleb can think to describe the idea of him as a reality TV star. But this is his mother’s one wish – to see him in love, and happy, and he determines he’s going to make it come true; before she forgets. When Kat shows up after a long line of wanna-be TV stars, Caleb’s night goes from obnoxious cameras in his face to memories of happy days, including the reminder that Kat still owns his heart...

BOOK REVIEW | After discovering her writing through her debut novel, reading more of Kara Isaac’s books has always been a priority of mine. Nonetheless in my bookish reading life I never followed through. Until now. All Made Up is Isaac’s second independently published novel, but the quality of story shows no change.

Though I know they’re out there, I cannot remember a novel I’ve read prior to this with this kind of plot; one that follows the world of reality TV. It’s unique, crazy, but also, in this instance, extremely romantic. I’m not a reality television junkie (my one weakness is Dancing with the Stars), but this story’s peek behind the curtain is as fascinating as it is entertaining. Fiction or no, I would wager there’s more truth to the production of these types of shows than fiction falsities.

No matter the interesting nature of the plot, the characters are who we love best. Going in, I didn’t realize that Kat is a character from previous novels. She’s the cousin of a main character (Can’t Help Falling) and the best friend of another (Close to You). Because of this we get to catch up with a few characters, but unless you don’t like to be spoiled, you can read this one as a standalone. Kat’s past (during her break up with Caleb) is riddled with some heartbreak, as his life has also changed, and continues to undergo future heart ache. Their worlds aren’t all rosy, which is part of the reason they share a renewed pull towards one another. They share a past, and have a connection that never broke.

Reality TV aficionados will enjoy this novel. Contemporary romance readers will also enjoy it. Basically, All Made Up is a charming reunion story that’s as bittersweet as it is sweet. This review was originally posted on Finding Wonderland

Romance, clean; Christian values and beliefs part of the novel. Series, but stand alone read.
Gorgeous, heartfelt, hurting, and poignantly beautiful read. This is by far my favorite of the series. Honest hurts, feelings, regrets, and worries, along with the drama of TV and life in a fishbowl.
Kat and Caleb are my favorite kind of characters, honest, hurting, caring, and with heartfelt emotions. Beautifully poignant read and wonderfully told. Twists, turns, drama, family issues, illness, life, it all happens. Loved this story of second chances.

'You make decisions in faith with what you do have, trusting that God will be sufficient in whatever the future holds.'

Katriona McLeod is a professional make up artist, has traveled the globe, even won an Oscar, but she still loves Caleb Murphy, even after he told her ten years ago that he didn't think they had a future together. No one has ever measured up to him. Ever. Now, as she reluctantly agrees to be a stand in for a reality TV show, Falling For The Farmer, she never, ever imagined that Caleb would be the farmer.

Caleb Murphy only agrees to be on this reality show to fulfill his mother's dream. He never expected to see Kat. Now he has to start eliminating women from the show when he only wants Kat. But he doesn't feel he is good enough for her. Kat also feels she isn't good enough for him. But both their hearts have resided with the other for the last ten years. Even if Caleb would want her, Kat has a deep secret that would cause him to change his mind.

When I read Kara Isaac's first book, I knew I wanted to be a forever fan. I eager anticipate each of her books. She writes so convincingly with a perfect setting, a plot that totally captivates the reader's interest. Rich in breath-taking romance and emotionally charged, this one will leave you thinking about it long after you turn the last page. Full of grace, love, and hope, this is a must read for 2018! The inspirational thread is precious, too, as God shows His children that the dreams they had are nothing compared to the dreams He has destined to fulfill in their lives, dreams that will give them a hope and a future that they never expected could happen. Highly recommended.

*My thanks to the author for a preview copy of this book. My opinions stated here are entirely my own.

Reality TV with a Godly twist

This is my first Kara Isaac book and I absolutely loved it! I am ready to start binge reading the rest of her books :) I do love watching The Bachelor so this twist on that type of reality show was more than intriguing to me. I really loved Kat and Caleb and read almost the whole book in one day. Sweet, romantic, funny, dramatic...this book has it all !! Just hope we hear more about these 2 in future books! Highly recommend!!

How have I never heard of this author before? At least now I have the pleasure of getting to go through her backlist. I'll admit I was a little wary of the reality-TV setting of this novel, but it's a second chance at love story, and those are like catnip for me.

Kat McLeod is an extremely successful makeup artist. Though based in Australia, she has gotten to travel the world in the course of her career. As a favor to a friend in the industry, she agrees to take on an assignment with a reality show called Falling for the Farmer. In the aftermath of a mishap with several contestants, it turns out that Kat and a couple other crew members will need to pose as ladies vying for the farmer's hand, though they are promised that they will be eliminated in the show's first episode.

Of course nothing goes as planned. Kat is already irritated at the ridiculousness of the show, and she is believably brought to a dead halt when she sees who the "farmer" of the show is. Before she worked her way into her successful career, Kat was once upon a time madly in love with Caleb and when he ended that relationship, it broke her heart.

I'm sure no one will be surprised to learn that Kat stays on the show longer than planned. Even though the reality TV antics sometimes irritated me, and Caleb started off having about as much appeal as wilted lettuce, the book still drew me in. The writing propels the story along nicely, and I adored Kat. Her mingled pain and attraction to Caleb felt achingly real, and I could empathize with her conflicted feelings. In addition, because of the reality TV setup, Kat and Caleb end up contending with their budding attraction while having little to no opportunity to deal with the elephant in the room between them. As far as buildup of tensions go, this one was fantastic.

When Caleb and Kat finally have a chance to confront their past, it's very well done. It's raw, emotional and made me tear up just reading. And in case you were wondering, yes, Caleb did grow on me. He's a strong, silent type and while at first he seemed like a bit of a stick in the mud, Isaac does a wonderful job of leading readers to see the best of him gradually as Kat lets down her walls and warms to him.

This book is marketed as inspie, and it's the sort of inspie I like best. I suspect this book would not meet CBA guidelines and frankly, I don't care. The emotions running through this book are deeply felt and sometimes a little raw. And the characters all feel contemporary, perhaps largely because their world feels like the real 21st century world(there's even a female pastor!) rather than having that squeaky clean, otherworldly feeling that can sometimes be found in inspirational books. The leads clearly have Christian faith, but they show it more by how they live their lives in the real world rather than by preaching or separating themselves from the rest of humanity. In the end, I think that's another reason why I really liked this book. The people in it reminded me of religious folks I admire rather than the ones who make me cringe.

I may not have been familiar with Kara Isaac's work before, but I will definitely be picking up her other books.

Oh, my! I just read the best story! Kara Isaac, you rock!

Katriona McLeod is living her dream. As the make-up artist to the stars, she travels the world and even has an Oscar under her belt. Doing the make-up for the women on the latest Bachelor-wannabe show, Falling for the Farmer, is more a favor to the producer than a step up on her ladder to success. When the producer comes to her an hour before the start of the show and tells her he needs her to fill in as one of the contestants, she says, uh-uh. No way. Then, his wheedling gets to her, and his guarantee of only one show finally sells her. Far more comfortable behind the scenes than in front of the camera, Kat is counting on that one show guarantee. Then, she meets the "Farmer" - Caleb Murphy - the only man she's ever loved.

Caleb Murphy has NO desire to be on television, let alone be the focus of so much female attention. The ONLY reason he agreed to be this season's "Farmer" is, he saw his mother's impassioned audition tape. Her greatest desire is for him to find the love of his life. Since dementia is rapidly stealing her away from him, he can't deny her anything. Unfortunately, wanting to fulfill her dream doesn't make him good on camera. He can't compromise his beliefs to go around kissing a different woman every night, nor does he appreciate being asked to show off his own impressive abs. How can he possibly make this work?

When Kat trips off the runway directly into his arms, Caleb sees a possible ally. She thinks she's there for one show, but Caleb calls her name out to go on to the next round. As the pressure mounts on Caleb to "stop acting scared of the women, or else", the only solution he sees is to "fall" for the one woman he knows he can't have.

With their hearts already involved, will Kat and Caleb reconcile, or will they finally get closure on a relationship that ended too abruptly?

Kara Isaac packs this story with giggles, then hits you with tears. I literally, could not put this book down. (My read dates go from Friday to Saturday. What it doesn't say is, I finished it at 4 AM on Saturday.) I loved that Allie, from Close to You, and Paige, from Then There Was You, are Kat's closest confidants. Paige is her cousin and roommate and Kat actually made her first appearances in the earlier books. It was nice to catch up with these other, much-loved characters.

I cannot say enough about how much I enjoy Ms. Isaac as a writer. Her sense of humor always shines through, yet she can also bring on the tears when called for. All Made Up is a wonderful addition to her book list, and I highly recommend it to all readers.

What can I say? I LOVED this book. Kat is a make-up artist who’s spent the last 10 years travelling around the world. She’s even won an Oscar for her work.
We meet her as she’s doing the make-up for the women who have applied to be on a reality tv show called Falling for the Farmer. Several of the contestants come down with a sickness bug so Kat is persuaded, very reluctantly, to become one of the women meeting the farmer for the first time. All on the provision that he doesn’t choose her and she can leave the programme immediately.
She’s all made up, dressed to the nines and wearing ridiculously high heels, ready to meet him for the first time. As she walks towards him, the light shining in her eyes, she stumbles and ends up in his arms. To her horror, Caleb, the man who broke her heart 10 years ago is the farmer.
This is a novel about love, losing it and finding it again and about forgiveness.

“Forgiveness isn’t a one-time thing. It’s a choice we make over and over again. You don’t have to know how to forgive him. You just have to want to try.”

Meeting old friends Paige, Allie and Janine, even if it was through the medium of messages between them all, was a definite added bonus.

This book make me smile, laugh, shed a tear and believe in love.

So many fantastic moments in this book!
If you like The Bachelor and reality shows like it, this novel will really entertain and actually enlighten. You may think "reality" shows happen just as they are portrayed on television, but it's only a slight version of the real truth.

Kat is a multi-dimensional character. (She, and other characters in this novel are featured in previous Isaac novels) She's hiding some secrets and has never truly moved on and had closure from her relationship with Caleb. He is hiding some things as well, and because they broke things off and didn't lay their cards on the table, there's unfinished business between them. When she agrees to temporarily fill in for an ill bachelorette on the show "Falling for the Farmer", she never imagined that Caleb would be said farmer.

There's depth of emotion here and even some growth and maturing that takes place throughout the course of the book. If you've never read a Kara Isaac novel, then you are in for a real treat. If not, then what are you waiting for?

I was not sure what to expect when I picked up this book, but I had enjoyed others by her, so I knew it would be fun with some hard life lessons.
Reality TV was not quite what I expected though, but it was enjoyable. I have never been a fan of those shows, so you have to know it took a bit to win me over! I loved the way the author weaves life lessons into a fun story, while not preaching at you at all.

There was a lot of kissing in this book, but that's probably my only complaint. The premise of the book seems to be far-fetched, but the author does a great job of creating relatable characters that draw you into the story. Thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end.

"She lifted her gaze and locked eyes with the only man she had ever loved."

When professional make-up artist Katriona McLeod signed on with the production crew of a somewhat cheesy reality show, "Falling for the Farmer", she never anticipated being a participant in the contest, much less coming face to face with the one farmer who had broken her heart into a million pieces; Caleb Murphy. Compliments of a nasty stomach bug, which eliminated several legitimate contestants, Kat figures that she can slide in and out of the first episode without much fanfare. Wrong. . . . . . . she ends up in Caleb's arms, thanks to her inches-high heels and his lightning-like reflexes. Now what?

"She'd always been kind of an effortless beauty" . . . . . nonetheless, Caleb painfully remembers shattering Kat's heart, and his own in the process. Pretending to pay attention to idle chatter and plunging necklines was not in Caleb Murphy's DNA, and while the producers were close to panicking at his terrible presence on camera, Caleb was trying to figure out a way to convince Kat to continue on the show.

How will their story end? Can love withstand first, second, and third chances or will the entire episode be "all made up"?

I received a copy of this book from the author. The opinions stated are entirely my own.

If Kat McLeod hadn't been so intriguing during her appearances in the past three books by the author, I'm not sure I'd have read this book; reality shows, particularly dating shows, are really not my thing. At all. But it was Kat . . . And when it comes down to it, mega churches aren't in my realm of interest, yet Kara Isaac wrote a pretty spectacular book about one. And I have no desire to read about rowing or tabloid-related anything, yet Kara Isaac wrote a beautiful story involving both subjects. But I do like Lord of the Rings, so that's one out of four . . . So her track record is pretty incredible. It's a mark of a good author if she can take subjects of no interest--or even outright distaste--and create stories that are so intriguing, so emotionally investing, that I can't wait to finish them anyway. The characters, the romance, the emotional pull--everything is so well written.

I was pretty sure I knew what was wrong with Kat (besides her family issues), but I still cried to hear it spelled out. I don't want to go into spoilers, but it's a hard thing for a woman to live with. Very hard. And to think of the lost opportunities . . . No wonder she's a bit of a mess. But then, so are most of us, each in our own way.

Fun cameos from the other books, both an amusing and scary look inside reality TV, and real depth of character make for another great book!

Wait - what? Kara Isaac's books are interconnected? But lucky for me they seem to work well as standalones.

Confession: I've never watched a bachelor/bachelorette-style "reality" TV show. Not once. And I have even less a desire to do so after reading All Made Up.

That said, I highly enjoyed this second chance romance between a reserved, down-to-earth (literally) farmer and a make-up artist thrown together unexpectedly in Australia's version of The Bachelor.

Caleb and Kat have a slew of unresolved issues over and above the fact neither has stopped loving the other in the decade since their breakup. Insecurities born in their families of origin tangled with several foolish, selfish decisions have left them both with hurting hearts. And yet . . . a LOT of chemistry.

The reader is brought into the midst of some tough issues and, with a few pearls of wisdom, straight through to the other side rich with empathy and hope. Kara Isaac's smooth writing and crisp dialogue made their eventual reunion all the sweeter.

So ... I loved pretty much everything about this book! I'm always a sucker for Bachelor-type stories, and I loved the twist that came with this one: makeup artist Kat was a sub for a sick bachelorette, and she was stunned to learn that the bachelor was her ex-boyfriend Caleb!

I loved how Caleb and Kat had to learn to trust one another again, and I loved that the majority of the book was about Caleb and Kat's relationship and not about the other bachelorettes. Caleb and Kat had chemistry in spades, and I thought the ending was perfection!

I flew through this book (and stayed up far too late reading)—it's definitely my favorite Kara Isaac book so far!
