The format and design of this book is awesome. I borrowed it from the library and skimmed through it. Saddened by the fact that someone has written in, I was debating buying a copy. Going to online shops, I was astonished to see many people give examples of errors in the key! Many examples of adjectives are called nouns and so forth. Ugh. I will have to pass on this one. If it was properly edited it has so much potential.

As an English teacher who also loves grammar, I like the way the topics are grouped together, the progression of lessons/reviews/quizzes/tests, and the overall style it is written in. The lessons are written simply and clearly in student-friendly language, unlike most grammar books or textbooks, which are written in a dry and boring manner. Use this book if you need an instant foundation for an ELA class.

Perfect for home or classroom. Use as an introduction or supplement for students learning/reviewing common grammar concepts. Progresses from basic to complex. I liked that after every 4 lessons has a review. A good reference for understanding grammar principals.

This grammar book is just what I needed! It is thoroughly written and easy-to-follow with explanations, practice exercises, quizzes, and summative assessments for fundamental grammar concepts. Unlike other grammar workbooks I have used, this workbook includes sentences in the exercises that are easy to comprehend and student-friendly. It's a fantastic educational tool for my classroom.
