I hate giving a book 1 star but this was a hot mess.

Wrong or random words in a sentence is off putting enough but using the wrong MC's name drives me nuts.

It didn't help that I couldn't take to any of the men involved either. Not a winner for me.

This story is actually pretty comical. It’s so intense and dramatic at some parts it seems intentionally over done for comedic purposes. “Penetrate me, Adam Newton. Take me for what I’m worth.”! Seriously? Eh, read if you wanna laugh.

I can't really think of anything that I particularly liked about this book. I did finish it, so it wasn't completely off-putting.

I didn't like Adam, Hank, or Noah in this relationship. Adam was too self-absorbed, and dependent on Noah; Noah was too much of an enabler, and Hank was a bit insipid. I didn't feel any of the passion that Hank supposedly felt for the club and I thought that everyone around him wanted him to keep it open without ever asking if he really did want to remain the owner/operator. And then, to top it all off, the fact that Adam and Noah had an open relationship because they knew that each couldn't fully satisfy the other just was depressing.

Added to the generally bland characters, this book was in serious need of editing. The POV would switch mid-scene, with no indication of it being made, the wrong character would be named, especially during the sex scenes (Hank apparently was VERY flexible with the things he did to himself). The wrong tense was common, and I was confused in at least two spots where there was clear communication between characters, but immediately afterward one of those characters wouldn't remember what had just been said.

Ultimately, I found this book to be unsatisfying and disappointing.

Omega in Lace by Alice Shaw is a fast paced romance with three characters I grew to love and cheer for.
This book is written in Tri POV. Can get a tad confusing but I liked it. I really got to see inside the men’s minds and what they were feeling.
Hank owns the Leather and Lace club. Looking for a man to sweep him off his feet. Has about a month to pay the last three months bills before the club is shut down for good.
Noah is very confident. He is not scared to go after what he wants. I liked his brave adventurous spirit.
Adam is a famous photographer. He hated going to new cities but that is part of his job. Noah is his manager and lover. And Hank is the unsuspecting new muse.

Liked these guys together. They each have a personality that the other needs. They give balance to their lives being together. I also did not feel anyone was left out of this trio. They are all necessary for it to work properly. Over all nice fun read.

This...ugh I wanted it to be good so badly but it was not. It was only when I got 15% through that I realized that I'd read a different Alice Shaw book before and didn't enjoy the writing. There was so much potential in this story, two alphas looking for an omega, older omega who thinks he couldn't get pregnant anymore, sexy photos in lingerie, failing BDSM club, mpreg; everything was there to make an amazing story. Unfortunately, this author didn't deliver. I felt like I jumped past all the "lets get to know the characters" which made it really hard to relate to them and there wasn't any character development. I also didn't realize that some of the side characters had been in a different book that was technically book 1 in the series but there was no indication in the book description that it was book 2. Omega in Lace definitely needed a more thorough editing process because there were grammar mistakes all throughout the book and at one point one of the main characters was called the wrong name. Sigh, if only there were more omegaverse books that feature a "pack" with a male omega.

WOW just doesn't seem enough for this book!

Getting old just stinks. When omega's get older they loose the ability to have children. Hank has been the owner of L&L , he is on the late side of his 30's and just wants an Alpha of his own.

Noah and Adam are both Alpha's in a relationship together but they know something is missing. Then they see Hank and they are both lost in him.
The hard part will be convincing Hank that they really want to have him in a real relationship and not just a weekend of passion.

This story is a great example of never being to old for love. You can find love when you are young, but also when you mature and are ready to make love, family and a relationship work. Hank is a wonderful character and a great man!
Ms Shaw has out done herself with this special story, a must read!

I really enjoyed reading this fascinating, entertaining MM romance
This book is about: an intelligent omega (Hank) who is the owner of a MM club. He is approached by two alphas’ (Noah & Adam), they want him for a photo-shoot but they soon realize that he is the missing link to their relationship.
There is: intrigue, some drama, humor, a conniving ex, action, friendship, memories, despondency, anguish, warnings, attractions, misunderstandings, stalking, photos, curiosity, desire, defiance, anticipation, a unexpected surprise, gallery exhibitions, love, passion, happiness & some steamy scenes.
I found the story-line well-thought out & written with an intriguing, suspenseful plot. The characters are distinctive and quirky with individual personalities. I would recommend this MM romance.

Love a hot triad! Sizzling chemistry and deep connection create a beautiful love story. Adam and Noah need a special omega to complete their relationship and Hank is that person. It was good to see these men find a sense of completion in their bonding.

I loved the photography and lace kink in this story and the scenes were steamy and very hot. The story-line kept me reading and the intimacy greatly increased my enjoyment. Hank, Adam and Noah are so good together!

i enjoyed seeing Leo and Hayden from 'Safe Word', book one in this series. This book can be read as a stand alone, however i would recommend reading in sequence.

i am looking forward to Sawyer's story. He sounds like an interesting guy!

I received this book by the author for an honest opinion.
Now I enjoyed this second book in the series more then the first one and read it in one sitting. This is a menage, with 2 alphas who help out Hank an omega who owns a club from a blackmailing ex boyfriend who was threatening to releasing illicit photos. Coming to the rescue they form an attachment.
I really enjoyed these characters and there relationship. It had an omega who enjoyed wearing women's underwear and the easy acceptance of this. Well written, great story with lovable characters and touches of humour that just made me come away feeling happy. A brilliant book.

Enjoyed this series!

I read this series completely out of order but enjoyed it thoroughly! Here art meets subversion meets attraction meets a threesome and concludes with love and a baby! Hank, Noah and Adam share incredible chemistry in front of a camera and without one present. Two alphas and one omega combine forces to give 1 alpha a fitting end to a photography career that featured subversive topics. This triad falls in love, mounts a exhibit in NY, and creates and births 1 baby! It was an enjoyable adventure! I read this entire series and I have plans to read additional titles by Alice Shaw!

I kind of wish I had read Leo and Hayden’s story first but the books are standalone so there was no confusion.

This threesome love story isn’t your boy meets boy and meets other boy. Noah and Adam seek out Hank. They have been a couple for years and at the beginning it seems they just want him for a photoshoot. But son their relationship turns into more and the two alpha know they age found their omega they did t know they were looking for.

You will fall in love with Hank, Adam and Noah.

It could have been good...

This author could be good. I'm going to try Safe Word and see if u have the same problems. There was a loss in consistency the main characters names were constantly being mixed up and you'd have to go back to see who she meant to be referring to in order to follow along
There were many more errors spelling and grammar in nature. The scenes could have been hotter as their descriptions sometimes got lost on me.
As I said I won't right her off yet until I have read another book from her to see if the same issues persist

What a good concept.

I really enjoyed this story and the characters. I wanted to give it four stars so bad but there were too many times where the names were in wrong and it kept throwing me out of the story. I loved the angle the author took and was glad to see someone focus I it. We can't forget the struggle nor the strong brave people who fought them to get us here. If the author can have a re-edit done I'll gladly read it again to give it the four stars i want so badly to give it.

A little slow at the start but worth it to keep reading. I loved getting in the head of these three men. Adam the artistic type and his partener Noah, both alphas feel the need to have another to be part of their lives. Hank is in a strange place in his life. His club of 20 years in going under. Now with Adam and Noah he sees hope and love, and a life full of excitement and maybe the club Lace and Leather making a comback. All three have their issues that they need to overcome with the help of each other. Love the HEA

Der Fetisch um den es im Buch geht, ist für mich schön zu lesen, mit einer meiner Lieblinge unter den Kinks die es so gibt.

Leider war mir die Story außen herum zu mager. Wenig liebenswerte Charaktere, alles passiert viel zu schnell und vieles das wichtig sein könnte wird gerade mal mit wenigen Erwähnungen abgehandelt. Schade.

Was auch noch negativ auffällt, ziemlich viele Fehler sind vorhanden. Hätte definitiv besser korrigiert werden können. Gerade vertauschte Namen oder komplett fehlende Wörter fallen auf.

5,5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth King,
'Save the kids' series
from EM Leya or 'Jesse's Smile' from Angelique Jurd), it's like an A+
5* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey books), it's like an A
4,5* - it's the place between I really like it and I love it, it's like an A-
4* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy
for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, but not really an often reread book
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartly, but

A let down

This book in theory should have been a five star. It has everything I love. Honestly there are ALOT Of grammar mistakes. Normally I can look past them, but the author could not write a book for three people. She kept putting the wrong name and characters started having conversations with themselves or with the third person who was not in the scene and would disappear after one line. It was very annoying.

Adam and Noah know something is missing in their life and it ends up being omega Hank. There are some great scenes in the story. Read the first book "Safe Word" wwith Leo and Hayden and am looking forward to reading about Sawyer in the next. They can be read as stand alone books.

This was a unique and intriguing book that started out with something of a noir kind of vibe. The characters of Adam and Noah are initially rather mysterious, and the hook-up with Hank is sexy and steamy. Although I enjoyed the characters and the kink, I didn’t feel the romantic connection so much. They talk about love and desire, but I didn’t really feel the emotion in it.

The story is focused on the relationship they build. The backstory of Hank's friend Leo rounds the story out beautifully. This is a well written and will be a re-read for me.

This a good story and would be a 4* book of it were not for the character name constantly being muddled up which messes with the flow of reading, however that being said it is a good book.

The characters’ names were mixed up multiple times and there were all sorts of typographical errors that could have been easily remedied with a decent copy editor. This book was so poorly written. It’s a shame really because there was potential.
