“Are you looking for the cheerleading tryouts, sweetheart?”
Zeke Kingston is the arrogant, tattooed, and sinful coach of Boston University's women's football team. And I’m their new quarterback.
From the moment the dark and broody hunk mistook me for a cheerleader we've clashed. His smirking lips make my blood boil and his god-like muscles turn my knees weak.
Everything about us is off limits, but lines are blurring and temptations have become too hard to resist.
Being together breaks all the rules, but what happens when the rules no longer matter?
Jacob Chance grew up in New England and still lives there today. He’s a martial artist, a football fan, a practical joker, and junk food lover. A USA Today bestselling author of sports romance and romantic suspense, Jacob plans on writing many more stories.
I absolutely loved Coach by Jacob Chance, the third book in the Boston Terriers series. It was a forbidden romance that was sexy and full of chemistry. Even after their first disastrous meeting, Zeke and Amelia could not hide what they felt for each other. But Zeke is new to the women’s football coaching team at Boston University and Amelia is the new quarterback.
Both Amelia and Zeke are professional and take what they do seriously and getting into a relationship is not high on their priority. But their connection was too strong to ignore. I loved Zeke. He was strong, determined and cocky! And Amelia could stand on her own. She was so strong and determined as well.
Coach by Jacob Chance was a great read. It was sexy, charming and witty. I loved Zeke and Amelia so much. Their story will pull you right in. Though Coach is part of a series, this can definitely be read on its own. Though I highly recommend reading anything from Jacob Chance!
4.5 stars! Loved it! Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
I liked this story of sexy offensive coach for a women's college team and his new female quarterback. Both have been cheated on by their exes so they are reluctant to begin a relationship, especially one that is strictly forbidden because a coach can't be involved with a player.
Are you ready to fall in love? Well... Get ready, because on August 10, you will definitely fall for Zeke and Amelia. Coach is Jacob Chance best #SportRomance to date, in my honest opinion. The thrill, the intensity... The powerful chemistry between two characters, one that leaves you completely breathless as soon as they are within a radius of twenty feet from each other; Zeke is the epitome of intense but add to that a spitfire sexy quarterback who knows exactly how to raise that side of him and all you feel is the pull of their energy that immediately sucks you in. Jacob gives us two characters that can only be described as yin and yang to one another, with side characters that spice things up along the way and a story that completely entices you; from the prologue until the last page, you just can’t stop. The heat just keeps escalating in this battle of power exchange. Two opponents, one strong attraction that can’t be denial... With a dose of unexpected twists, Coach not only enthrals you, it intrigues and offers its lot of comical situations that definitely brings a laugh out of you. With an incredible pen that’s unique to him, it’s fair to say that Jacob has outdone himself. Coach exceeds the expectations and is definitely a five stars read. I couldn’t put it down and I was stunned speechless by the incredible chemistry between Zeke and Amelia, which is, in my opinion, the major strength of this book, with all the side characters we know and love... Coach contain all the ingredients for an incredible reading experience. P.S. Zeke definitely top all of Jacob’s male characters for me. He’s the perfect balance between the bossy asshole and the concerned, caring BF.
As for Amelia... she’s the sexy, sassy minx, but completely unaware of her attributes. Which just make her a natural and is completely endearing.
Another Touchdown read from this author. Coach has a great twist when it comes to a football romance story. I love everything about Amelia, her personality is a breath of fresh air. We have a woman that is strong, confident and can handle herself. Zeke... oh my Zeke I wouldn’t mind having him as my Coach for a second no matter what mood he’s in. This story flowed wonderfully and the details we placed in the perfect spots that you’re able to get a clear image in your head as you’re reading. I love this series and these B.U. members. Yes this is a stand-alone in a series and you will not be lost reading them out of order but you seriously need to consider grabbing them all if you haven’t already. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
HOLY HOTNESS!!!! Meet Zeke, a broody, alpha, sexy, arrogant head coach of Boston University’s women’s football team. Amelia, a new quarterback whom Zeke mistook for a dizzy cheerleader :O Bring on the laughter, the heat, the intense chemistry, and the sizzling sexual tension. Wowza, I love Zeke – he is all powerful arrogant asshole but he has a protective and soft side … Swoons!!! I adore Amelia as well – beautiful, confident, badass, girl power all the way. These two aren’t supposed to go near each other for obvious reason but they are like magnet. They can’t help but drawn to one another from the moment they met. The author did such an awesome job with the undeniable attraction between Zeke and Amelia. You can feel it dripping from the page. This is the third book of the Boston Terriers (standalone) and one of my favorites sport romance. Forbidden with a bit of drama and twist. What a great summer read! Highly entertaining. It’s hot in Reno but definitely more than the weather at this point because Coach is HOT :)
*Read more of my reviews at Whoo Gives A Hoot* So this certainly isn't my first Jacob Chance book, but it might just be my favorite! The Boston Terriers standalone series has quick become one of my favorites and I love getting to know both the guys and gals on the football teams. Ever since meeting Zeke in PENALTY and getting to see more of him in DRIVE, I have been wanting to get my hands on his story. So...when the author announced that COACH was about him I got so freaking excited and I am so glad that it is finally here!
Sports and Forbidden romances are two of my favorite kind of stories to read, so the fact that this one is a combination of BOTH just made my day! While they are of legal age, the fact that he's her coach just makes it a bit forbidden, which I absolutely loved. Amelia and Zeke were the perfect match and I was definitely rooting for these two right from the first kickoff! I thought that the author did an incredible job with character development and the chemistry between them was HOT...with a capital H-O-T!
COACH is a fun, flirty, and fast paced story that fans of Jacob Chance will love! The third installment in the Boston Terriers standalone series was a TOUCHDOWN kind of read that I strongly recommend readers one-click today! I already cannot wait to see what this author comes up with next!
Jacob Chance is back with another amazing book! It is clear as to why he is my favourite male author! Coach is set in the world of his Boston Terriers series, and I just loved it.
Zeke is so broody! I really loved Zeke and his personality. He can come across as arrogant and a little rude but it is just a front. Inside, past all of that he is a guy who is just such a beautiful soul. He is ready to help his friends or his family at the drop of a hat. Zeke is the coach to the women’s football team and Amelia is the new Quarterback! Amelia is finally where she has always longed to be and doesn’t need the distraction of her hot as f$#k coach.
I love love love forbidden romances, and what Mr Chance has brought us is just perfect!! The writing in this book is brilliant and sucked me right in. I didn’t put down their story at all once I started, and it only took me a couple of hours to devour. I loved catching up with past couples as well and I just loved reading about Nick and his shirt slogans. Every character is so brilliantly written that they all took on a life of their own, I really felt like I was part of the Boston Terriers world. I read the intro to Grace and Trevor’s story too, and GOODNESS I need it so much!! I can’t wait until the release of Mr Chance’s next book. I will be first in line to devour his amazing words.
Coach (Boston Terriers #3) by Jacob Chance is a sexy, taboo, sports romance story. Jacob created two characters, Zeke and Amelia, that you couldn’t help fall in love with. Added into the mix we have secondary characters we know and love. Coach grabs you from the prologue until the last page. Who doesn’t love a forbidden romance, especially one between a coach/player. There are some twists and turns thrown into the story. Coach definitely delivered on all levels.
Zeke, a financial planner and an offensive coordinator for The Boston Terriers, a woman’s football team at Boston University. I loved Zeke, he’s fiercely protective and 100% alpha male. He’s one cocky bastard!
Amelia, is the new quarterback for The Terriers. She is not your typical girly girl, she’s sexy, sassy and when Amelia wants something she goes after it. She is one bad ass chick! Amelia is all about keeping her scholarship and focusing on football. She doesn’t want any distractions nor complications.
Zeke and Amelia’s first time meeting one another wasn’t very pleasant. Zeke mistakes her for someone else, Amelia finds him to be arrogant. Little do they know......Amelia is the new quarterback, Zeke is her coach. Their chemistry is undeniable, unfortunately for them the college has a no fraternizing policy. Is Zeke willing to loose his coaching position....is Amelia willing to loose her scholarship and end any chances playing football? Both will have to decide if it’s worth taking the risk.
Coach by Jacob Chance is my new favorite book by this amazing author. Not only is it written amazingly but something I noticed was how it's written differently that all his other books, and I can't figure out what's so different about it.
Coach takes us back to Boston University for the next installment of the Boston Terriers, unlike the two before this time it's the woman's team taking stage. Zeke, who was previously mentioned in the other books, is now one of the coaches for the woman's team. Amelia, the teams new quarterback is certainly attracted to her new coach, even if she thinks he's a jerk. Both fight their attraction to one another for several reasons; no fraternizing policy and both having come out of bad relationships. Do they take their chance on seeing where things can go or do they let their attraction fizzle.
This book is filled with sexual tension that Mr. Chance is well known for with his books. But one of my favorite things is the reappearance of the gang from before. Nick with his iconic hilarious shirts and his girl Carter, Brady and Harlow, and we can't forget Owen and Trevor. I can't wait to see if the Boston Terriers will feature Owen and Trevor next!
Zeke is tall, dark and handsome; what couldn't draw me in more? He's arrogant and tattooed, a wee bit dominant. Yup, Zeke Kingston is the perfect book boyfriend for me and I have officially licked him!
There was one line that made me need to read this book and instantly know it was going to be fantastic and right up my street.
“Are you looking for cheerleader tryouts, sweetheart? I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place.”
Zeke is the coach of The Boston Terriers and unbeknown to him he just insulted his new star quaterback. Not the best start to the season, but had me chuckling away.
Amelia is the girl with looks of a runway model but with a throwing arm many would be insanely jealous of.
Firey, sassy, and with a runaway mouth, she's no wallflower hiding in the shadows.
Zeke acts more than his mere 25 years of age, responsible being his middle name. Often referred to by his friends jokingly as Boring and grumpy but really he is hiding his true personality biding his time to let it shine.
Together they should only be coach and team player but where's the fun in that..
A truly great taboo sports romance read. I could see what was going to happen a mile away but still thoroughly enjoyed the bumpy ride.
I loved the characters, their chemistry with each other, the banter between teammates and friends in both social and work situations and the storyline kept me hooked even though I'm not a big sports romance reader.
There is so much more to this than just the Boston Terriers. Don't worry if you are not into reading about sports, I know you will still enjoy it as I did, and find Zeke your newly appointed book boyfriend.
Just Wow! I knew this was going to be something amazing but Jacob Chance delivered his best Sports Romance yet!
Coach is the third installment in the Boston Terriers Series. This is Zeke’s and Amelia’s Story. He is the offensive coordinator to the women’s football team at the University. Amelia is the new transfer quarterback for the team.
First meeting the attraction was heated and instant but as it being something unprofessional and looked down on, the both fight the feelings and thoughts. To add to it the both had come from bad previous relationships so they both still had those lingering emotions. Zeke is so strong and intense but yet, so is Amelia. She gives him a run for his money which makes their connection more real and intense. Just as much push as there is pull.
Coach is full of fun, passion and intensity. I was sucked in from start to finish. Plus you get to keep up with your other favorite sports couples in the series. This is a definite five star must read I highly recommend.
Zeke Kingston is the newly appointed coach for the Boston Terriers women’s football team. He is a hot alpha who is sinful and broody. The first words he ever speaks to Amelia has her back up straight away with the arrogance he portrays. His full-time job is a financial advisor. Zeke is a very busy guy indeed.
Amelia is the new quarterback for the Boston Terriers. Already Zeke has rubbed her up the wrong way, but there's something about him that on the one hand has her seething; on the other, just one look from him makes her frustratingly weak at the knees. As her coach, he is off limits although the temptation is all too hard to resist. Amelia just wants to focus on her scholarship with no distractions.
It's like a cat and mouse kind of situation with Zeke and Amelia with the strong attraction. However, the forbidden element of this couple somehow seems hopeless, making one think there can’t be anymore. Zeke tries his hardest to stick being the professional coach, keeping his pent-up attraction to Amelia to himself.
Feisty Amelia wants to play football and get through college, but seeing Zeke every day just sends her into a spin. The struggle is real between the two. The characters make an appearance from the previous BT books and it was a real pleasure to have them supporting the story. We also got a couple of new characters in the mix.
Coach is the third installment of the Boston Terriers series but can be read as a standalone. To get the full effect, I would advise reading all three if you’re a fan of sports romances. Zeke and Amelia’s story has everything from banter, passion, and romance. I was hooked on the story from the prologue to the end. I was convinced that it was a forbidden love but was absolutely flawed by the surprise twist during this rollercoaster of a story because let's face it, two passionate people forbidden from each other is always a page-turner. I could never have predicted the spin on things.
The author has a fluidity to his writing that grabs you from the off start. The descriptiveness and cleverly planned out plot had me captivated and spellbound by the intensity. Mr chance seems to be able to turn his hand at sports or suspense and I follow with great interest as to what will be created next. What I love about his penmanship is the unpredictability. You never know what you are going to get but I promise it is always thrilling regardless of the genre. Five stars is a mild rating in comparison to the wonderful enthralling story of Zeke and Amelia.
I think Coach by far my top favorite from Jacob. I really enjoyed Zeke and Amelia's forbidden story. There is no denying the chemistry between the two, It felt like it was pouring from the pages. I liked seeing a little bit of former characters. A definite must read if your looking for a HOT STEAMY forbidden sports romance.
What I love most about a Jacob chance novel is the surprises! As I read I find myself looking for hidden clues because there’s always a bomb dropped on you and wow was there ever a hidden surprise! I never know what to expect and that’s what I love about Jacobs writing! It keeps me engaged and savoring every word he has to write!
Amelia and Zeke are the perfect match but can they make it work? So many obstacles and is love worth the risk?
Take a chance on this forbidden love story and enjoy the journey Chance takes you on!
I knew I was going to love this book! But I didn't just love it, I LOVED IT!!!! Coach is book three in the Boston Terriers series. Not only is an amazing addition to this series, it is my favorite so far. And that says a lot because I said the same after reading each book, lol.
There are many great aspects of this book. For me, there was an incredible balance of humor and angst. Let's not forget the crazy amount of tension between Zeke and Amelia. Their attraction was not only palpable; it was believable despite the love/hate they had going on. I am so thankful that this author writes both H/h perspectives. That aspect ALWAYS is an added bonus for me. Not only do I find this quality preferable, I have been known to pass on books with only a single POV. For me, having a first row seat to a characters intimate thoughts makes for a better read.
As you can infer from the blurb, both Zeke and Amelia get off to a angsty start. However it was pure entertainment to watch their relationship change and grow into something so passionate and beautiful. If you've read the previous books, you will also love revisiting with old friends. To tell you the truth, after finishing Coach, I am looking forward to rereading the others. So I'll just say it.....this is not only a recommendation, this is a MUST READ! If you love a sexy, alpha, protective hero and an independent, sassy heroine who is not afraid to speak her mind, you'll love Coach.
I'll add that I really hope this author plans to give us Trevor and Owen's books soon. PLEASE!
This is my honest and unbiased review; thank you for taking the time to read it. :)
Coach is book 3 to the Boston Terriers series by Jacob Chance. What did I not love about this book...absolutely nothing! Once I had this book in my hands, I was up late trying to finish it. I was captured by Zeke and Amelia. Not only is our heroine fierce but she is also a kick a** QB for the Terriers team. Yup....our favorite gal is the star of an all woman's football that has me loving the author more!
Coach gives you the thrills of forbidden romance. Zeke is not suppose to be interested in Amelia. But as soon as they meet, the connection was there. There are a few twists and turns thrown into this story. I was happy to read about some familiar characters in this series.
Coach has just enough drama factor that will keep you glued to the pages. The heat factor will have you blushing and giggling. The unexpected twist had me yelling "No Way" towards the end. But you will be proud how Amelia handles it. Jacob Chance adds so much uniqueness that you feel like he has made a new genre of his own. I will never hear the word "Coach" the same again as my thoughts will always go back to our sexy Zeke! Ladies and Gents, this book is a top recommendation!
I just Love the Boston Terriers Series and Jacob Chance has delivered another amazing addition with “Coach”. The book is fast paced and the word/scenes flow seamlessly, not to mention the characters are very defined, down to earth and believable. It’s a great treat when you can feel the emotions of the characters right along with them and that is exactly how well written Coach is. The storyline has it all too. It’s heartwarming and romantic with humor and zanny moments as well.
This is Zeke’s story. He’s graduated college, working at a financial firm and is the offensive line coach for the Terrier’s women’s football team at his alma mater. Life is running pretty smoothly for Zeke until he meets confident, sassy, quick tongued Amelia, who happens to be the new quarterback for the Terriers Ladies Football Team. From day one sparks fly.
I Highly recommend reading the Boston Terrier Series and Coach, it’s latest addition. Coach will have you laughing at the zanny, smiling at the romance and saying OMG at the twists. 2 Thumbs Up for a great read and this reader is looking forward to more from the guys at BU.
The book blurb gives enough away so I won't go into great detail but what I will say is that I really enjoyed this story, with it's DUAL POV's, it is another well written, with great character's,some of whom we have previously met in the first two books in the 'Boston Terriers' Series-another nice touch to the storytelling, yet it is easily read as a Standalone.
I laughed out loud not only with the banter back and forth between Zeke and Amelia, but Owen and Trevor also provide humor, and I hope they will feature in books of their own! Of course, the attraction of the leads is obvious so you can guess the inevitable will happen.
As with many of Jacob's creations, there is a little twist adding some drama along the way and some quirky references that those of us who follow on social media will totally understand, and for me it was another plus point in my enjoyment of reading and I look forward to reading more!
REVIEWING FOR ROCK HARD ROMANCE by Vicki RHR RATING 5*/5
I know that when I read anything by Jacob Chance, I will not be disappointed. He has quickly become one of those 1-click authors where I don't even have to read the blurb to know that it will be good.
Coach is a sexy and fun sports forbidden romance that follows Zeke and Amelia, a female football player and her Coach. In book three of the Boston Terriers series, Zeke & Amelia find instant attraction when they see each other on the playing field the first time. This is a wonderfully written book with very well-developed characters. If you read book 1 or 2 in the series, you get to see both Brady and Nick and their girls. There are plenty of laugh-out-loud funny moments along with the sweet but sexy moments I have come to know and love from this author. I highly recommend a 1-click purchase on this 5+ star book today.
Coach was absolutely fantastic, possibly the best book by Jacob Chance so far. Right from the prologue, I knew Zeke was going to be special and I was right because he kept stealing the spotlight with every turn of the page. And Amelia is one impressive, spitfire of a quarterback that I admired throughout the book. There was just no way I could not fall in love with Zeke and Amelia, when their fiery encounters and hot sexual tension molded into something so beautiful and real. They might have off on the wrong foot but they definitely ended on the right one.
When you find an attraction that pulls you in and sucks up every fiber in your being, you either let it play out or walk away. The Boston Terriers Girls Football Team brought in a sassy, sexy and gorgeous quarterback and Zeke being the sexy alpha male Coach, their connection was electric. This story was steamy, gave me goosebumps to feel all the feelings Zeke and Amelia have for one another. This author never disappoints, this series is fun and adventurous! Looking forward to more Boston Terriers.
Zeke and Amelia definitely have explosive chemistry. The only problem is that he is her coach. Not to mention, someone from her past pops up and shocked them both. Will Zeke and Amelia get their HEA?
I've been wondering what Zeke's story was going to be like and I couldn't have come up with a better idea!! Nor could I have seen the twist to the story. Amelia was a great character and the perfect woman for Coach....even if it was against the rules.
A sexy forbidden romance, this 3rd book in the Boston Terriers series is a must read! Amelia is a tough, kick ass QB who gives Zeke a run for his money. Their sizzling chemistry and the way they try to resist each other is so hot! There was a surprising twist I didn't foresee which really added to the storyline. I loved the secondary characters and an looking forward to Trevor and Grace's story coming soon in book 4, Tackle.
What do you do when you start to fall for someone you shouldn't?
Zeke is assistant coach of the Boston Terriers female football. He had a bad break up a year ago. When he sees Amelia its like fireworks. Amelia is the quarterback and has worked her but off to get where is. She has also had a bad breakup as well. And she only wants to play football and get good grades. As they go along they start to fall for each other will they be able to keep it professional or will they fall hard and lose. With everything in their way will they make it or will something from the past come and keep them apart? Highly emotional with a few twists that will keep you turning page after page to see what happens next. The cover is hot the words are hotter. Can't wait to see what he writes next.
Coach~~Zeke and Amelia This couple is hotness personified ! A taboo sports romance that will have you fanning yourself as you flip those pages! The moment they meet their is an undeniable attraction. Yes Zeke may have made an assumption but the sassy Amelia puts him in his place even though he is the Coach. A back and forth game of attraction ensues and soon they realize that their is so much more to their story! Sassy, Sexy, Great Banter and sizzling chemistry !!! ~~Michele McMullen ~~
This was a deliciously forbidden romance with a battle of wills between two strong individuals. It'll knock your socks off and keep you turning the pages as it melts your kindle reader! Zeke was an arrogantly sexy coach who clearly needed to give feisty Amelia another lesson or two, but may be she has a lesson of her own to teach him right back! I love it when they challenge each other with witty dialogue and steamy action to back it up!
